This sounds like me at Dutch Course now. I am somehow not very popular. I am a very good learner, I do are friendly most of the time. Still, since I am very european, and especially Norwegian, most foreign people like from Morocco, Turkey, Somalia, etc... They seem having something against me. Yesterday I got a lot questioned by two ladies from Turkey, I didn't felt comfortable at all. Today in the start of class, when the teacher asked who could tell how the last week had been, one of these ladies was saying; Sylvia Can Tell! As in making fun of me. Or this is how I felt like.
Yesterday they were talking as if my Dutch was very bad, that day I was talking less and not being so focused 'cause I was then feeling very tired in class. So somehow they had noticed my silence. I normally talk a lot and participate during class most days, so I guess yesterday was a fine day for them to notice my wrongs and judge me more easily. Today I went out from class crying, 'cause I thought this was so mean of them to make fun of me in class. When I talked with the teacher this lady came out too, and the way she talked didn't look very honest. She was also happily laughing and smiling when saying that her heart was aching for me. This was all just so unrealistic, and I am quite sure she was just putting up an act. Still, the teacher and some others said that this was all an misunderstanding.

I really doubt this, yet I have not much proof to show since they weren't there when I got "out-questioned", so it is easy taking this as a deep misunderstanding and that the other ladies that deeply offended me as they didn't meant anything bad with it.
I plan to call my mentor and ask if I can change classes, I would most prefer this. I don't know if this is very possible right away, but at least there is no harm in asking. I have also no friends to support me in class, most people have people they can talk with, especially people from same countries as them. I most of the time feel very lonely in class, and this saddens me a lot.

It is hard feeling lonely in class. So yeah, in a way I do can relate with how you feel. *Hugs*
