I think it is a very good teaching tool when put into a particular perspective. While I am certain the story is intended by this person to show the amazing acceptance of animals... I see something entirely different.
I see the schemes of the devil and his agenda to destroy God's will in creation for families. Put this Lovebird and rat scenario into he context of...
the lovebirds are.... a homosexual couple... they go about like they are breeding but what? is is that they are truly rearing??? a creature not of themselves... yet thinks itself to be like them? It looks all cute and sweet on the surface but what is really going on here???
