Ever wonder " why "
When things are going well
you suddenly stumble
Then see that you fell?
Dont get trapped in the questioning
Just go before grace
Go straight to Gods throne
Meet Him face to face .
Thanking Him for the opportunitiy
For a chane to call on Him
Its a time of testing
A reflection of where youve been .
Keep remebering !
New wine? wont fit into old wineskins .
The old mans passing away
Gods taking him out
Being replaced by a tranformation
So Jesus Christ can walk about.
Each test is our judgement seat
choosing life or great pain
Declaring God our Lord
or turn around and walk away .
Place your eyes on His truth
Hes looking at your heart
Will you run to Him, come to Him
Or turn around and run off far
He will humble us before Him
this is no game and no joke
Hes calling us to Him
Through things that make us broke.
Sometimes He will ground us
To be support for someone else
Hes trying to work through
Trying to reveal Himself
Many times we forget
And many times we just dont see
How a God like that
Would think to use you or me
so dont be surprised
When asking Him to use you
His beckoning will come,
being invited ?will try to work through too.
May not be the assignments we want
And it may not be the sitution you choose
Becoming available? you can bet! He will call! true!
So many vessels
have become resistant
I cant help but ask
whats His glory going to look like,
Being outside of them?
We wont be able to fathom
Our eyes upon Him .
Such glory has never been seen
But we've sure heard about it .
so instead of asking "why"
How about asking "why not?"
Allowing God to work through us
is our masters cup..
He gave His life
So why not give ours up?
No greater love is there
Than one who lays His life down
for his brother .
