Wow. Really? You conspiracy types have fun, don't you? I just see it as power being given to the banks and them being stupid with people's money. I'm sure that there's more to it than that, but it all comes down to greed.

They're not stupid. They know exactly how the make the economy rise and fall to their advantage. And yes, there's a lot more to it than that.

How to get folks to vote for you, or get approval.
Find something they don't understand. Work on their fear of it and then come up with a bogus solution.
 
I dunno. I'd rather someone steal my wallet/purse to get my information than cut off my hand to get to the chip that contains everything.
