Be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. This is a message to the Disciples of Jesus Christ. Be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. A disciple of Jesus should learn to love their neighbor. A disciple of Jesus Christ should NEVER wish harm to another. A disciple of Jesus Christ is like a lamb in the midst of wolves.
And who is a lamb? I will tell you about THE Lamb. This is the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ!!! Don't you know what this Lamb is for? It is like in the days of Moses, when the children of Israel would be delivered from the oppression of Pharaoh, the would not let them go, not by a mighty hand. But then the night came when certainly he would let the go. They were commanded to apply the blood of a spotless lamb to their door posts as a testimony, so that the death angel would pass over. And this lamb was called the passover. And after that they ate the rest.
Don't you understand!!!?? Jesus Christ is that passover lamb that was SLAIN FOR THE NATIONS!! If Jesus is applied to the DOOR POST OF YOUR HEART, then when death comes it will have NO STING, NO VICTORY!!!
So who are we then? We are sent out like doves fending for our souls against serpents. We are like lambs LEAD to the slaughter, even as our Lord Jesus was. And why is this onslaught? It is because we have found a better WAY OF LIFE!! JESUS CHRIST!!!
I want to tell you why the world will hate you. It will hate you because it hates Jesus, it hates righteousness holiness, justice. They say, WE ARE ALL SINNERS, and they are not lying they are, and they are on their way to hell if they do not repent. But YOU are not like the world!!! You are called to be holy righteous, long suffering in love and in ALL gentleness. Ready to distribute to the needs of your neighbor for the sake of the Kingdom of God.
The message of Peace is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but Peace can find no rest where there is no ground. God sent his Peace but if people will not receive His Peace it will return to him. May Jesus bless you.
