The problem mostly its so out there,,,that might be a good thing because it's not happening to you or it can build prejudice's gossip ect. All that defiles is with in.

The problem is denial. Trying to compare this to Kitty Genovese is denial of how far this society has fallen.
 
I believe that people are too full of themselves to care about others unless they can get a brief video to post on the internet.

If it were happening in front of me, I would do my best to break my cane across the back of his neck.

If there were men present who did nothing I can almost guarantee they were porn addicts and getting a thrill from watching it.

I think the main reason people didn't help out was because this guy was a sociopath and was of a large frame (judging by the side of his head and shoulders). If the crime was a bar fight, or even a domestic abuse situation in a public place, I believe more people would have stepped in even women because at least those men would not be sociopaths.

This is a good discussion on the event on the train until it turns to Texas law. I think it is idiotic that she turns this event towards the abortion law in Texas. If you are raped why wouldn't you know immediately that you don't want the baby? The Texas law is a heartbeat law. It is very ugly to think that this law somehow is biased against rape victims.

Instead of arguing for being able to abort babies right up until birth maybe this would be a better opportunity to argue for the right for Americans who don't have felonies to have conceal carry permits to carry guns.
 
Washington DC has come up with a very effective strategy to make sure this doesn't happen there. You can be sure this will not happen on more than half of DC metro's freight trains because they just pulled them from service. Makes you long for the good old days when you got to sit on the back of the train because at least there was a train.
