Yes it is a good song, and to think He didn't have to go through that. We see what happened to Him physically but, we cannot see any internal struggle He may have went through. Being God He did not have to go through that, but because of His great love for us He was prepared to give up everything for us. Moses was prepared to give everything up for Israel even though they complained all the time.
Exodus 32:31-32
(31) And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.
(32) Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.
