10 And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,
Col 1
22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation--
23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
Col 1
28 We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.
Col 1
Pauls heart is simple. Jesus is God,
9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form
Col 2
We are to "continue to live in him" Col 2:6
It is a struggle, to die to the old self and live to the Spirit, it hurts, it costs, yet in this we change and are transformed
by the work of the Holy Spirit in our hearts.
The struggle is not so much trying as realising we become because we know we must. We sow to the Spirit because
we know this is life. But it must be driven from the heart and not because we think we ought to. That is not faith.
Faith is because we see love and Jesus and know this is life, literally, we want more of it.
God bless you brothers and sisters in Christ, He is the Lord, Amen.
