We suffer kids that pull this kind of stunt from time to time. And depraved in sin adults too,I'm sure.

He reportedly spoke against issues in the southern Baptist convention.
It's had problems and they have been redressed by dissenting members for a long time. I'm not taking sides here. I'm not defending this reformer Calvinist views, eschatology since I don't have any idea if he's even got the gospel right.

What gets me is the immaturity of the gossip and slander of those who have my email and will not address their issue to me directly, but rather get into their ugly PMs and slander posts to undermine my relationship with the other. It makes what were otherwise attractive ladies who reveal themselves anything but attractive.
Is it not enough to live with that from family since childhood that I should tolerate it here?
Present company excluded Mouse Cheeks. You don't even know who I'm talking about, but they do.

It's definitely a new age and the keyboard warrior syndrome brings out all kinds of realities lurking in souls. And immaturity in the Church has been known to be rampant for a long time. Couple these with lack of Church discipline, if disciplined just change to another nearby church, theological traditions that leave people thinking their ticket to Heaven faith basically supplants any necessity for spiritual growth. maturity and good works, and what are we left with?

Do not let your adornment be merely outward-- arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel--4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. (1 Pet. 3:3-4 NKJ)

Nothing new. Just exacerbated.

This is why 'the church' shouldn't be considered to be an organization, denomination, or building. It's people, and people are flawed. When they gather under one banner, one roof or another, they remain flawed.

Ecclesiastes 1 verses 9-10 What has been will be again, and what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. Is there a case where one can say, "Look, this is new"? It has already existed in the ages before us.
