With myself as an empath and an overthinker with an introverted personality, it is important to know when to invest and when to stay distant. It is easy to feel the pain and become completely invested in trying to help others.

The problem is that once invested, it is so important to remember your value and be cautious of those who can take advantage of you. It is also important to remember it is God who assigns your value.

Keeping that in mind, even if once invested, you start to feel used or even unappreciated, you can remember that ultimately God sees the good. And above all, your value is defined by God.

Top o' the morn bro, i'm a rational extrovert but also try to understand why people do what they do, instead of judging them. Sadly, my considerable patience is experiencing a severe stress test on a forum here, however, like you i'll survive and learn much from it.

Lol well, I wish I could say that it gets easier but I guess you just get better at ignoring and only using your time to respond to what truly matters. But you're definitely on to something. It always helps to understand where the other person is coming from. Understanding their point or belief before either agreeing or correcting.
