You don't have to go to church to be saved. Church is more or less an institution built by man, with rules and doctrines and songs and pews and other formalities which makes no one know Jesus any better.

Maybe on the part of ignorance, or the stronghold of tradition did they do it. So this is not condemnation to those who follow Jesus with a pure heart.

Some people do command that you must go to church to be saved, but this is not true. The only way to be saved is to follow Jesus Christ. To hear his words, believe his words, obey his words. Not interpreting his words, but to believe his words, also obeying them.

Jesus Christ is the only one who can save you. I was not saved by Church, but by Jesus Christ, convicting me of sin, and then teaching me how to be like him, in keeping away from sin.

I was in Church since I can remember, but I was on my way to hell along with other people in Church.

Don't get me wrong, don't be so evil to quickly judge people!!! In every Church there are people who really do follow Jesus, who actually have heard him, and there are just pretenders. Jesus told us about this already.

We know that Jesus teaches us to love each other, and to forgive people for what they do, not so that we can be good, but so that we can be like him. He created us in his image and his likeness, but people traded his image for the image of false gods.

My friend. Repent of sin and follow Jesus. HE IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, THE LIFE. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO HEAVEN ACCEPT THROUGH JESUS.

When you die you will have to face him. May Jesus bless you.

Yes, you don't need to go to church to be saved! You don't need to go to church because a church itself is not a place.A church is a body of Christ.Three ways in which the Bible uses the word "church" are:

To describe a group of believers or saints in a specific area. This is often called the local church. An example of this is found in 1 Corinthians 1:2 where Paul addresses his epistle "unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints." It is quite clear that the word is used to describe believers who lived in Corinth. This may also be noticed in many of the other epistles. In Romans 16:5 we read "Likewise greet the church that is in their house" (also 1 Corinthians 16:19). Here we find that the church or company of believers met in a home.
To describe all believers everywhere from the beginning of the church at Pentecost until the completion of the church at the rapture. An example of this is found in Ephesians 5:25 where we read, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it" (also Matthew 16:18).
To describe groups of believers in a large area. An example of this is found in Galatians 1:2 where we read "unto the churches of Galatia" (also 1 Corinthians 16:19).
In addition to these uses it is also used to describe Israel and a heathen mob in Acts 7:38 and Acts 19:32,39,41.
