A saddened life, You cause joy to overflow.
You look past the imperfection.

You see something, we all fail to even take a glimpse at.

You don't look at the offerings, You don't look at the deeds.
You look at a seeking heart, and You call them for greater.
People who have been hurt a million times, and people who have been trampled on over again.
You nourish their soul, and You heal their wounds.
And the cost, was great.
You gave Your own life so that condemnation would flee.
You carried the sins of humanity so that life could be restored.
You paid the price tremendously, despite the fact that You knew who we were, when even most of us barely recognized ourselves.
You overcome our obstacles, and You never flee when darkness is near.
You shine Your light, and darkness just has to flee.
For when Light is present, darkness has to leave.
And when You are present, fear is turned into faith.
Your love is great.
Greater than we can ever comprehend.
You risked it all to save the soul of man
To save the soul of a man.
You came to redeem, and You came to restore.
You brought salvation, and You gave grace.
Mercy was all You had, and faith is all You give.
Your grace has overflowed.
Your love overpowers a soul.
Because of You, I can live to see another day.
