Hi!! I am fifteen years old and I live in the USA. Lately, I have had a lot of questions about religion. I consider myself a Christian, my parents were both raised Christian and so was I. I am the type of person who overthinks everything way too much and gets super stressed out over a lack of knowledge. I have been having moments when I think about death, and what happens after I die. I get extremely nervous and upset because I have so much fear about something so significant yet uncertain. I have a few questions I'd like some insight on, so if you wouldn't mind, I'd really appreciate advice and answers. Please do not let me uncertainty offend you. I believe in God, but I just get extremely confused at times and I have a lot of questions. Please answer them if you have the time. Thank you, and have a good night.

1. What happens when you die?

2. In Heaven, do you maintain your some body as in real life?

3. Is Heaven a real place, or just a spiritual resting place?

4. Do you recognize your family members in Heaven? Are you allowed to communicate with them? (this one worries me the most)

5. Any advice for looking at death with not such a negative outlook?

Thank you!!!!

Some answers about death can be found, but there is still a fair bit of mystery surrounding it.

1. The bible says 'it is appointed once for a man to die, and then to judgement. There are no ghosts, we don't continue dwelling in our bodies.

2. Heaven, as it is now, is not physical. Our bodies in heaven will be spiritual, but in the future heaven will descend upon a new earth, our bodies will be resurrected and perfected.

3. Well, a spiritual resting place is still real, in fact it is more real than the physical world. But there are feasts, animals, music, mansions, etc in heaven.

4. Do you mean people still living? Such as if a family member dies? Communicating with the dead is a form of occult. Once a person dies, communication with them is no longer possible. Some people disagree, but it's likely that their awareness (in heaven) of you is not possible. Heaven is a place with no sadness or tears, so to watch your suffering and pain would contradict heaven.

5. Look heaven up in the bible. The things you place importance on, the way you think and understand life and existence will all be changed. The lyrics to this song are some of my favorite about heaven...

Jesus Christ
Bring them to life
Without hate, without pain
Without suffering insane
Without death, without fire
Without lies that feed the liar
Without war, without games
Without fear to take the blame
Without fame, without power
Without drugs that heal the coward
Without violence, without rape
Without sickness, without plagues
Without judgment, without crime
Without hope, without time
Without two, and without three
Without torture over belief
Bring us love
Let us see
Set us free

Heaven is a place free of pain, fear, anxiety, worry, overthinking, doubt, lies, and all the things in this world we deal with. It is perfection. We will be perfected. No more sickness, colds, sinus problems. No more aches and pains. The goodness of heaven is beyond imagination. Hope this helps some.
