Don't be carnal, and, with the Spirit powering your life, you have the baptized, in the Blood remebrance ability to have your spirit at one with Him.

Two, one. Beautiful sounding, isn't it, like a sweet, milk, shake laced with a wonderful infusion (boost) of minced meat.

Christ peeps, let the Lord Jesus lead YOU,bicker not over things of selfishness, things of desire, and, certainly, say NO to the flesh and demons of this world.

WHAT is your life this very minute? Aré you letting the Lord lead your life?
If not, why not ? You can . Just turn to Him. :)

It is Halloween, make THIS the day you crucify your carnal nature of you and replace it wholly and Holy. Him.

Did you know your temple is a temple of the Holy One.
Forget fearing that stupid little harry potter and resident evil creatures onbthe screen, fear Him !

Christ your God, your Saviour. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, and, the Holy One is able to lead you to Truth of understanding all things good, all things of God, Jesus, Holy Spirit.

IF you are thinking to go to the dark side, think again! Do NOT depart from.the one you went up to.the altar and tear-cried your eyes. And you said, 'Lord,.I know what I've done, sinned so MUCH. God , Jesus , my Lord forgive me.'

It was done. Forgiven, as you repented and turned from.the evil that you were of man and men wicklledly doing. Do it no more! Go!! Just like Mary Magdalene, go and sin no more.

Jesus isn't leaving YOU if you don't leave His hand.

Don't let the demons of the dark night get you. Choose white, choose Him,your Saviour, your Light :)

To Him, your sins ate forgotten at that alter you confessed them , past, present, future. Gone. Coveted! By His precious Blood.

Godblessyoufor choosing to leave your CARNAL temptations behind on such a black night as this.

God bless you, Christ peepcfor your choice , be now nosed in How Word, in a church He leads. YOU are His now.

Satan, take your demons and go. Tell them, they don't belong near YOU no more. :)

God bless you, child, you are now of the King. :)
So much said in love Greenie. Beutifully said. Hope and milk goes well together.

Yes, , cee, we want to so satisfy our carnal nooature. Paul did, too!

Christ peeps, RESIST your flesh, that carnsity, for the Devil wants to use that weakness and lead you all over his playground, one that will pillage, destroy, rape, KILL !

Put your hope in the 'milk' of saying 'YES' to Christ Jesus on this so darkly lit of yearly nights. I pray for you to turn to Him, who made.you, bone to bone, sinewy flesh, and, skin, God.

I Love you, Christ peeps, and, I pray, always, the spirited words from me come from Him who RESTS in me.

God be with you as you bring your life to, or, maybe, BACK, to Him . You fan do it , pray to Him, He is with you, by your side urging you to either START the race to salvation or to get back in it, for He is your author and finisher of your faith. Only believe, this day of Halloween , believe in Him.

Just say the words: I choose You, my Lord Jesus, I choose You. :Forgive me of what I've done, I will follow You. Thank you for dying on the cross, allowing me to become with right rghteos standing with you, Lord Jesus, my Father in Heaven, Spirit fall afresh on me, amen :)

Done. You are now 'Property of Jesus.' :)

The very second you believe, you are saved. Just keep turning around and have the dimness removed and let Him be your Light. He has so much to offer you, so many promises. Leave the darkness which surronds you and know that God is real as that dark thing before your soul's eye. Listen to Greenie in his last post (42).

KJV 1Co 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
KJV 1Co 3:4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

1Co 3:3-4 (last part of verse 3 continues here) For (reason why they are still carnal) wheresoever there is jealousy and strive (quarrel) and divisions among you*, are you* not indeed still ones who are carnal (under the control of the fleshly appetites) and walk about humanly? For whenever some one says, "I am indeed of Paul", and another one says, "I am of Apollo", are you* not indeed still ones who are carnal?

Notes:

jealousy and strive and division = even when your brother or sister shows that jealousy in accusations of you trying to show yourself more righteous because you see the leading of God as your way home and that He, in His wisdom, must be hearkened to if you wish to obtain your rest in His rest. Stand firm in your words of proclaiming God's administration of the Gospel, even when your younger brother or sister quarrels with you. though we may strive among each other, never condemn them, let God be Judge.

walk about humanly = as opposed to walking about spiritually. They who have not obtain the Spirit yet, seeing that their body is not yet made a holy temple, will accuse those who are filled with God as ones who are acting like they are superior. But neither can those who have the Spirit deny Him for the sake of the young, seeing that by God's Spirit we are given the evidence of Christ and of God. So, what are we to do? Feed them milk until they are ready for meat. We can only plant, God is the harvester. Trust in God to lead them to Truth by His Spirit. He will harvest all which is good and will leave the rest for the winepress.
These two verses can say an awful lot, pun intended, about how we horribly are not acting of Spirit with spirit, and, instead, flesh vs spirit/Spirit. Remember, our spirit is willing to follow His Spirit but our flesh is weak. Only surrendering to Him will allow you to see things that God wants to show you, to made known, don't surrender to your best spiritual friend or even your pastor, cuz he sounds so great, SURRENDER to Him, pray for understanding, He will lead YOU to all Truth; this must done or what happens 3:3-4 tell us? Carnality. Evil!

Remember, Christ peeps, IF we do not let the Lord lead , IF He is in you then you do NOT want to defile His temple that is you. Woe to the defiler of one who defiles Himself, and, not just sexual defile , fornication, immorality, etc., but communicational and mental, like communication bickering, envy, division, all this is awe full for others to see, especially the divisive behavoir by those who both have Christ in their heart. Speak out of Love, BE the pure vessel God wants you to be or your 'noisy.'
Not only are your brethren not helped you clash and gong to those you are trying to lead to Christ.
Your 'walk' is important, Christ peeps, walk not of man, but walk in Him. Spiritedly so, the Lord leads :)

Notes:

even as the Lord gave to each one = Each person has their testimony of salvation. Each was 'pulled from the fire' by whatever means was necessary (while the one who is pulling is to remain rightous by that means). It is by this testimony that people save others from the same flock they were a part of before deliverance. As for me, as it is for Paul also, I speak to those of the world's knowledge and let them know that such knowledge and wisdom destroys the spiritual man. I call for a death to such and an awakening to the wisdom and knowledge which is given to us under God's grace:: the mind of Christ, our wisdom. For some it is a deliverance of drugs and by their testimony they proclaim to others of their past flock about deliverance from drugs. So, when you see people proclaiming their testimony and if you are not a bird from that same flock, leave them in peace, knowing you have your own testimony and are assured of it.

I...and Apollos = to each is given a duty to perform. From your testimony, perform your duty of working with the Holy One to save all who will hear His Spirit.

God was giving the increase = those who will listen to the beckoning of the Spirit will be lead to those who are His temples so that they can testify to the Truth. Have your testimony and be used by Him and by such things, you will obtain heavenly treasures.

neither...nor = spoken in the absolute negative, we are nothing in doing our duty, all glory goes to God.

These verses speak of 'increase.'

Wow! Green tell me something I don't already know, LOL.

Okee ;)

God uses increase here to speak of FAITH. Did you know that? He is saying that He Paul planted, that Apollos watered, , but God gave the increase. What did God give each of us, Christ peeps? A given measure of what? Faith.

We are to INCREASE what God INITIALLY gave us. Faith !!! In fact, I would go so far that your earthly life depends on you INCREASING YOUR FAITH, using your talents, for what did God tell the person who did not have FAITH to use the 'minas' or 'talents' that God gave him? Be away from me, evildoer !

Harsh, t'aint it? God didn't just shoo person away that BURIED their one talent God gave them, He called them 'evil.'

Pop quiz !!!
\
Question: If God calls you 'evil,' do you think your chances go down significantly of being in a right standing with God , a.k.a. 'righteousness' and also known as 'justification?'' Well, do you? Rhetorical, I know. He won't and He don't operate well when we DISOBEY, even when it's not of sin kind of things but of FAITH kind of things.

Well, Christ peepsm, the Lord leads, I pray you got some good milk today and, as the Lord has led you, maybe even, some 'meat.' :)

____________
Verses in Corinthians with the word 'increase' in them. What is being talked about that God is increasing? This will help you understand, too, what was said above, context-wise, in a matter-of-fact, sorta-kinda way :)

So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. (WEB KJV WEY ASV BBE DBY WBS)

2 Corinthians 4:15 For everything is for your sakes, in order that grace, being more richly bestowed because of the thanksgivings of the increased number, may more and more promote the glory of God. (Root in WEY RSV) This is speaking of a larger quantity produced.

2 Corinthians 8:2 how, while passing through great trouble, their boundless joy even amid their deep poverty has overflowed to increase their generous liberality. (WEY) This is a larger quantity of liberality. By understanding their poverty, THROUGH FAITH, they have received their increase.

2 Corinthians 9:10 Now may he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness; (WEB KJV ASV DBY WBS YLT NAS RSV NIV) This is speaking of a greater quantity of 'fruits' (rewards) for one's labor to be obeying God, which is righteousness which is right standing with God, which is justification. THROUGH FAITH, fruit is increased.
2 Corinthians 10:15 Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly. This has to do with faith directly increased by the doing of men's labors. It is interesting, too, that we are talking of 'not boasting' in this verse, and, this, like Ephesians 2:8,9, speaks of FAITH.

For by grace are ye saved through faith, and, that not of yourselves, it is a free gift of God, that no man should boast. Ephesians 2:8,9 .

See the similarities of contextual meaning with 2 Corinthians 10;15 with 2:8,9 ?

Also, what about the word 'measure'? What does God say we are given? Go above to my comments above the verses and the answer will be measured clearly to you . :)

Cee, you are a great bird to be flocked to for this study, I just pray, solely, that many read these words and see how God and increase in their life, from person to personal Saviour. Not much to that happening really, faith alone, God will provide the rest, not to say He didn't provide YOUR faith in the first place because YOU were, just like everyone else on planet earth, "given a measure of faith." :)

What kind of increase do you think can give you in your life, Christ peeps. Can you think of where in Scripture God gave someone an increase of something for their belief or because they asked? Who? :)

These verses go back to these verses:

KJV 1Co 3:5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
KJV 1Co 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
KJV 1Co 3:7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

We are to work as ONE, we labor together, and, we Rest together. His 'rest.'

Ahh, yes, His rest. Grace given, faith sown. Reaped? Rest :)

Yes my Brother, let us labor together to fill God's barn. To hold myself true to what I said, we all have our testimony and as the Lord leads, so we are to be lead.

Notes:

each one is to look at how he builds thereupon = some people plants seeds, another one comes to water it, yet another one comes trim it, and still yet, God harvests it. We each play our part in nurturing. No one should, as this verses implies, do all the work. But as you are led by God, do your part and let another do their part. And in the end when it is harvest, you will still be remembered and rewarded accordingly. So, don't try to be the plow, the farmer, and the picker, and the hanger, but be as God wants you to be.

a different foundation = once the seed of Christ is planted by one, the next person must build upon the foundation. So, when we work together to bring Christ into a conversation, whatever the first person said of Christ is to be built upon by the next person, on and on. This by definition is called teamwork. We all cannot be seeders, or all waterers, or even groomers. It is important to know what God is calling you to do and stick to that and trust Him to bring the person needed for the next step.

Plain and simple, and, very elegantly, simply well said 'cultivation' in your notes, we are to build out house not on the sand, but on the Rock, who is Christ Jesus. The Spirit will lead and we build upon each other, you know the quote, 'one man is not an army,' or, something like that. God has us need each other. He 'built' us that way, God does the work, we just WORK ! :) THE lord leads. :)

but, if any one does build.... = what one builds upon the foundation of Christ is that which they will be rewarded for. As long as they point to Christ and Him as Savior (the material they use to build) then they, though some might see it as fragile, will be rewarded accordingly, but will nonetheless, still be saved, but without as much reward. Let each man build as He is lead to build upon Christ and let not fellows of Christ destroy what the other is building upon. So, before any one attacks another, know if what they teach has Christ as the central focal point, even the Holy Spirit points to the Christ. Let the Day be the Judge of their reward.

Saved by the (lake of) fire ?

I'm being faciteous, but, yeah, what a horrible way to get to Heaven, get there and you are saved but your works, all the good you done, toast.

All the more reason to be led by God's Spirit because the works done in conjunction with Him are the deeds which shall remain. Sure it is fine to receive salvation, but are we not to build our treasure in Heaven?

See that you like your toast a little on the burnt side there Greenie :)

Indeed, cee, as usually brilliantly grafted thought from Him via you, the mind of Christ, ahhh, thank you, Lord .

Cee, in these verses, we speak earlier of God the builder ot all, the person who builds houses more important than the tenant who lives in the house. God does the production, while we humans plant and water. Now, as far as understanding the 'fire,' one must backtrack from.this verse to 10, where the foundation of Christ is layed.

KJV 1Co 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

1Co 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Now, IF your saved by grace and that's IT to your salvation, what is your foundation on, two long 4x4 boards that resemble a cross ?

See, Christ peeps, a greasy , shallow, unsturdy foundation of grace only just does not seem to be of any support whatsoever to it's OK to have a moment of faith and then be saved no matter what, everything is all humour-sort. Faith is involved, and, it's involved deeply to our BEING SAVED, I explained how 'deeply' in my abusive doctrine and Eph. 2:8-9 'that not of yourself' thread. But, right in the MIDDLE of Eph. 2:8,9 is the 'THROUGH FAITH, set off by commas and, an 'em dash,' to boot !

Make no mistake, faith is a mysterious, GREAT, 'measure' God gave all, but odor is to be NOT told to others in a bragadocious way. As cee said a day or two earlier, peeps, we are to BOAST about Christ to.others, as He leads us. Do NOT deny the Spirit when He manifests in you chance to be bold ! :) This is a WORK, by the way, YOU want to do these kind of witnessing works, they will bless you on earth and, of course, Heaven . But, that's just a couple 'givens, Scripture says, but, yes, do whatever you do for the glory of God. So,curable, for Heaven is great to know, but do witnessing, donate, etc. unremarksbly, what does Scripture say? Do things so your left hand does not know what the tint is doing.

Just spontaneously, prayerfully, with your spirit steadfast in Him linked, do His will, as He leads, this doing, my Christ peeps, will Holy Spirit empower you as you desire these things and manifest great things for His glory. :) So, IF you ate OSAS, just because you got your works burned up (by willful sin, wrong motivations for doing good deeds), don't mean you will be saved by 'fire, wglhich , to me, I admit, sounds like a scary kind of toast way to be saved. But, yeah, don't even worry about being toast IF your in willful sin and NOT following the Spirit's leading of your life. Your fire will surely be of the 'lake' variety should you NOT have your foundation of the Rock !

You* are those same temples..

Notes:

does defile = to corrupt or destroy or ruin. A good understanding comes from 1Co 15:22 'evil communications corrupt good manners'. And also, 'the old man is corrupt according to deceitful lusts.' (Eph 4:22) So, for one to defile God's temple, your body, is to corrupt it in a manner which it is no longer useful as being a temple of God, to destroy that temple.

God will ruin that same one = this is somber reality and is not meant to cause fear, but it is what it is: Truth. If one is a temple of God and does have the Holy Spirit dwelling in him, then that is every indication that that person is a child of God and is every wit one who is in possession of Christ's promises. It is said that God Himself will ruin the one who defiles his body, God's temple. How does one defile his body: 'When a righteous person (a soul) does turn from (retreat from) his righteousness (our righteousness is now Jesus) and commit (live in) iniquity and does according to all the abominations that the wicked person does'. And what will God do as He says here: 'And I (God) lay a stumblingblock before him (will cause his ruin) , he shall die and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered nor mentioned. But in the trespass which he has trespassed, and in the sin which he has sinned' in them he shall die.' And God gives the righteous person a warning: 'The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression (deliberately living in sin and not hearkening to God to repent). Inasmuch as the wickedness of the wicked will not cause that one to fall when he turns from his wickedness, neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sins. (Eze 3:20, 18:20, 18:24, 18:26, 33:12, 33:13, 33:18)

So little children, let no one deceive you: he who does righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous (1Jn 3:7). This is not speaking about a Christian falling and truly repenting, this is speaking of those who abandon their righteousness (now, Jesus. That is, apostate). Don't be so confident in claiming Jesus as your righteousness for a covering to willfully live a sinful life and then pretend that performing righteous acts will cover a multitude of sins, you are only deceiving yourself. This is not out of fear that I am telling you this, but so that you may face reality and realize you cannot serve two masters at one time. the light of the eye is to be single, not wondering to and fro between the Light and the Darkness. Well, well, said, sir cee, my thoughts can't compete with that brilliant mind of yours. Like Christ's .

Said here as well as also in 1 Cor. 6:18-20, and, even, cagain, in a question form, ' 18 Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. 19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

So, there is parallelism of thought with 1 Corinthians 3:17. Both verses from both chapters follow same line of thought differently , but both speak of our temple is of the Holy Spirit and God .

Don't ever forget that God lives in you if you, through faith asked Him to lead you, He will just go in faith and trust because He will re-direct that one's steps if off the path. (proverbs 16:9)

The Spirit shows us all things. :)

So also (in conclusion), no one is to boast in humans, seeing that (reason why not to boast in humans) all things are yours*.

Notes:

no one is to deceive himself = This is still being spoken to those who are a temple of God, so give heed. He is saying that replacing Christ as the One who is leading you to all Truth with head knowledge will cause them to corrupt God's temple, which happens to be their body. That is, making the testimony (evidence given) of the Christ nothing more than just a mental understanding and laying aside that 'for real' fellowship one has when the dimness of their eye has been removed so that they may see the Light as not a conjecture, but as the actuality of Him existing being a reality to that one whose eye's light is the Light. Don't be deceived: God cannot be found in the wisdom and knowledge of man. But on the other hand, it is that wisdom and knowledge which attempts, and quiet successfully, to destroy that testimony which was given to you. That which is offered by man places doubt even on what you know to be reality, but that which is offered to you by God gives hope and is the end reality of all things. Take it from one who has been there. It is better to have Christ as your reality than that which even doubts what it teaches.

he is to have caused himself to be foolish, so that...wise = that is, abandon the world's knowledge so that you can become a fool to it (one who lacks its knowledge), knowing that God has chosen for Himself the foolish things of this world to confound the knowledge from this world. If Christ is the wisdom from God, and you have abandoned the world's knowledge, then you will be made wise by being given the mind of Christ, the wisdom and knowledge of God. So, make a decision if you desire fleshly or spiritual knowledge. Do you desire approval from man or God?

seeing that all things are yours* = no one has anything more to offer you then what you have in Christ. The eye has never seen, nor the ear has ever heard, nor has it entered into the mind of a man those things which await the sons of God. Let God be your knowledge, let Christ be your wisdom. In all things have the mind of Christ. A mind which was set on doing the will of the Father, not the will of the flesh. The world's knowledge is just not worth obtaining if it will destroy what has been already given to you. It is just not worth it, is it?
