Ive been saying it forever. Two biblical no no's!

One: elevating yourself with a title so you can 'lord it over His heritage'.

Two: charging for the gospel, instead of freely giving.

The love of money,mammon, filthy lucre, gain, IS the root of all sorts of evil. Adultery, homosexuality, embezzelmemt, the top 3 favorites of those at the top.

Will someone some day finally heed Gods word? What a novel thing that would be!

I doesn't think that Pat Robertson was once gay, that is just gossip. But I does know that there is something about him making a statement about stoning gays.

That day is here. Phil Sanders who does the TV program In Search of the Lord's Way on ABC (other channels in other areas) and streams on youtube and searchtv.org, is an upstanding christian. I know him personally. They NEVER request money but give audio copies and bible correspondence free of charge. "Freely you have received, freely give" NO ONE should EVER have to pay to hear the gospel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IDK, but gave us the ability to have television not so we could watch transformers but so the Gospel could be preached to the ends of the Earth. Now He has given us internet, not so some dude in his mamas basement can watch porn. But so the gospewl can be preached. In many countries tv is blocked but they cannot block the internet. SBN is doing a great job. TBN is doing a good Job but disarrayed by the many different doctrines it promotes. SBN is one doctrine all the time 24\7. If I were to support a tv ministry it would be SBN.

Tbn has done more damage than good, making many of the converts two fold the devil they are with their mammon gospel. A different gospel, Jesus, and spirit. Yes, many come to Christ through this false gospel. Salvation is taught right but the rest of what they teach??........not so much. So God has to pull these young saints outta the 'den of thieves' religion. It's a nightmare but God is able to deliver the innocent from the Pharisees webs of deception.
The local 'church' holds to these two pillars also. Arrogance and avarice. Some more than others but the same pillars nonetheless!
2Cor.11:4 if someone comes preaching a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, YOU PUT UP WITH IT EASILY ENOUGH.

Paul was rebuking them saying 'why the duce do you put up with falsehood?'
But it has changed. It's gotten worse.

You know something? Isn't it interesting that you can live these ungodly lifestyles and still get thousands of Christians to support you? What does that tell you about the spiritual condition of the body of Christ like I've been hammering home for some time now...and getting beat up for it?

If you are a hireling/wolf out for the bucks, and the accolades, you'll get a willing congregation.
If you refuse this mess and offer your ministry without charge or pats on the back, no one will listen to you. This is how far the 'church' has sunk.

so many doors opening up for deception, power, lust, greed,,,,,
the wicked have become very experienced, experts really,
working diligently at being grand imitators of what is Holy and Good.

I actually watched this last week. I never watch it, but i did then. You know what? He nearly fell, had eyes closed half the time, misread the cue cards, and slurred his speech. I understand that he may have been a great personality, but he needs to let go of the lime light. The episode I saw was mainly him and the older woman, with a few off-location stories.

I am not mocking the man, but he is not fit to be the main personality on that show.

John the Baptist was like a crazy homeless man living in the wilderness.

Jesus was not a comely man.

I have met men that were much like the two above descriptions that I consider some of the greatest men of God I have ever encountered. It is as if in some way, great men of God are hidden from the eyes of the world.

By the way, the topic caught my eye and cracked me up. I'm waiting to catch the informercial for that DVD set really late one of these nights. LOL

Really, you have never messed up and TV evangelist have never messed up. Didn't king David have sex with a married woman and the have her husband killed. Yet He was a man after God's on heart, read your bible. We don't abandoned people because they messed up we help them and support them, am I right or wrong.

I will Attest to the preaching of the Jimmy Swaggert ministry. It is on the mark and biblical, the message they preach and teach is the cross, I will stand for them and I really don't care what you think. I know the truth when I see it and they speak the truth.

It seems that what read about Pat Robertson being gay may have been wrong and I apologize. But his Ok-ing sex change operations is off the chart.

In the beginning TBN was overloaded with Word Faith people, don't know anymore since I found out the truth about and stopped watching it many, many years ago.
