Well, well. I am glad not to listen to man, but only to read my bible. But, I am not sure all these statements are completely accurate. I have read some of the biographies of these men, and heard nothing like this. If they are true, I would like to see these statements in their own writing.

Excluding Martin Luther King who wasn't a Christian (according to the video) the others are just like us. Won't we be surprised on how many areas we got wrong when we see Him face to face. :)

I don't think so. Calvin was an unrepentant murderer. No wonder he was a OSAS kind of guy.

It's really astonishing to read about the horrid, evil things that Calvin did and said, and then read how much he is/was lauded by modern theologians. Almost takes my breath away.

Truly astonishing

John Calvin
“But I am unwilling to pledge my word for [Servetus'] safety, for if he shall come [to Geneva], I shall never permit him to depart alive, provided my authority be of any avail.”

Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that every murderer does not have eternal life residing in him. 1 John 3:15

Charles Spurgeon
“Among all those who have been born of women, there has not risen a greater than John Calvin; no age, before him ever produced his equal, and no age afterwards has seen his rival. In theology, he stands alone, shining like a bright fixed star, while other leaders and teachers can only circle round him, at a great distance — as comets go streaming through space — with nothing like his glory or his permanence” . . . “the longer I live the clearer does it appear that John Calvin’s system is the nearest to perfection.”

"They may not even know the name of Jesus...."

"Salvation is found in no one else! For there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)

Very sad how far Billy has fallen.

sad how some people forget.

King David was an aduterer and murderer
Saul/paul was a Murderer of Gods people.

Non of us (like crossnote stated) are innocent. yet it seams, if we listen to a few in here, Neither David or paul should be listened to because they are serious sinners.

judging the people is not what we should doing, but at the same time praising them is no more encouraged, it should be the word which gets the glory not the people.

I wonder what modern youtube people would come up with when they saw the 120 disciples coming out of the upper room after the Holy Spirit came?

These are not drunk as you suppose seeing it's only 9:00 in the morning...imagine the scandal that the legalists would come up with. They were acting like people that are drunk. But we say." The Holy Spirit always acts decently and in order "..yes..but when the supernatural comes in contact with our flesh - sometimes our reactions to Him affect us differently..,,

This event would have made it in the opening video for sure!..lol..just sayin'

David and Saul repented. Calvin's writings reveal he remained unrepentant. Other writings reveal that he was a godless tyrant. It's not what you say, it's what you do.

Well that was sort of the point. So many apologists today condemn certain ministers as heretics, but none of those "heretics" are condoning murder or teaching the hyper-grace of Luther or saying that God pre-ordained some people to eternal damnation like Calvin or teaching baptismal regeneration like Augustine. If we can accept those men as legitimate vessels of God why not modern day "heretics"?

Lancelot, you have issues with Martin Luther? Oh, well. At least you seem to enjoy Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

David was an adulterer till the day he died, How many wives did he have?

Calvin had some odd doctrines, But as far as the gospel goes. from what I can see, he had the true gospel. and many have come to God because God used a sinner Thats raise to God.. not calvin.
