I don't think anyone should be droning on and on, solo, in a sermon, as a matter of ritual. Having a pastor is biblical and necessary, but IMO its current form is not either. The problem is that most people are so spiritually compromised and lazy that realistically that is the only option they see available, so they embrace it.
I agree. But what's that got to do with a women being a pastor? It doesn't solve that problem.

I told you almost all false doctrine comes down to a misuse and misunderstanding of Paul's law vs. grace teaching.

Even this is no exception.

Rebellion.

You can't see it but it's right in your post.
There is no rebellion against my Heavenly Father in this matter. You are mistaken brother. When I had rebelled against the Lord, it was a lesson that brought me to my knees. I still did not heed His call to fulfill the work He began in me...so He faceplanted me. If you don't know what that means...it means He allowed me to lose nearly everything in my life...including the ability to walk...until I opened my ears to hear and submitted to His will. Part of which I already mentioned in this thread. He has performed miracles in my life...including restoring my ability to walk. Do you honestly think I would ever step outside of my calling to do His will to testify, teach, and preach?
No way! I serve an Almighty God that I'm willing to lay my life down for...thats not a rebellion...thats love and commitment. He warned that there will be man that will mock and shun me. As Christians, if we speak out and tell others, even our brothers and sisters...we are mocked. That is the burden of the cross that He carried and we must die for Him daily if we truly love Him.

I am listening to God. You have no clue...but there is no mistake...
Well, we know there is a mistake, because what you're hearing is contrary to the plain words of scripture. Our 'clue' comes from the word of God.

The problem is you WANT to hear what you're hearing.

Yes, I do have issues with those who rebel against the plain words of scripture. It bothers me a lot. Not just in this thread but in other ones too.

Hardened indoctrinations in people that cause them to not be able to see the plain words of scripture is a particularly difficult thing to deal with. It is a special problem in on-line forums. It can destroy the faith of even the most faithful believer. It's very toxic. It's nothing more than the devil's voice still ringing in the ears of the world....."Did God really say" (Genesis 3:1). That is the voice you have to battle in these forums. Lot's of rebellious people echoing the voice of the serpent in the garden.
I was thinking more along the line of muslim men who insist that women cover themselves so men can't see their bodies because a woman's nature is to be inflamed with passion. Those kind of issues.

I'm not trying to be a contrarian or a devil's advocate. I genuinely don't care about the issue. It's majoring in the minors, as far as I'm concerned. Little things for little minds, if I may. I'm simply being a good student of the word, a Berean who searches all things, in order to rightly divide the truth. I had no idea before this discussion that 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 is quite possibly an interpolation. And I found that out by accident. But those kinds of things really interest me, and everyone really should know about that.

Will anyone claiming to belong to HIM be right in demanding women (because they are women) to stop preaching THE NAME?
I haven't seen one person here asking women to stop preaching THE NAME. It is "where" she can preach the name that has been the main question in recent pages. The Bible says "not within the church". It is very clear the man is to preach in that setting.

"And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet."

I'm leaving this thread because of the contentious men who won't receive God's word through us.

Interestingly, the rebellious men who justify themselves by the law and are commanding women not to speak, are the same ones provoking women to speak by directing their arguments at them. Where in the scriptures do you see Jesus doing that? Jesus lifted women up and restored them to honor and love. These men are not representing Christ toward women.

Only the Holy Spirit can break their hard hearts. I leave them to God.

Peace to those of you who follow Christ and not man.

AuntieAnt showes this reaction not, that you dont understand the scripture? This thread is about preaching and not about witnessing ore speaking ore prophecie.

That's wonderful. But we know from the word of God that does not include being a pastor.

No, it doesn't solve that problem. I'm not saying women should be pastors. I don't care if they are or not.

I want to know if when Paul addressed any man in Christ if he meant according to flesh since he also said not only what is written in 2 Corinthians 5 but clearly that in CHRIST there is no longer male or female

You women saying it is us men who are obsessing over this when in fact it is you women who obsess about this subject that reminds me of politicians, and what shows who is actually right.

Those in the wrong seem to project what they are doing onto their opponents. That's a good way to spot who's in the wrong.
FYI I'm not a woman.

As I said before...I'm terrified of large groups and public speaking. And you brother are wrong. There is confirmation and something much bigger than you can imagine going on that God is orchestrating on a global level. Many of us He has made our paths cross to fulfill His mass call of His people. Your ears are closed and your eyes fail to see the bigger picture than that of yourself. God can do whatever He wishes to do. More Him...less us.
God bless. You will see. I'm out.

Spiritually in Christ there is no male or female. Our flesh is not in Christ. Our flesh is still male or female. There are distinctions according to the flesh. If not, are males allowed to marry other males since there is no such a thing in Christ? Of course not. God has given the church order and this order includes the distinctions between male and female.

There no longer is male or female in regard to covenant access to God.

Christ is a NEW Covenant through which we approach God and are accepted by Him. The old covenant was the old way to do that. A way that discriminated your access to God based on your sex and nationality. Things specific to sex and nationality restricted and prohibited covenant access to God. But now that all are brought near to God in covenant through the new way of faith in Christ the old 'rules' for who can approach God, and when, are no longer applicable (what law can restrict the person ALREADY brought near to God through Christ?). This has NOTHING to do with changing the order of headship God has built into creation.

Okay, then I ask.......who is the strong willed woman in your life that is driving your insistence that women are equal to men in authority in the church?

I have yet to know, personally, a man who defended equality of the sexes in the pastorate who did not have a woman in his life who was passively, or not so passively, making sure he did not deviate from or resist her opinion about this.

There is probably a woman somewhere in your life who is insistent about this. Who is it?

Because, after all, everyone can read 1 Speculations 3:8 wherein it states, "Women may not be pastors."

smh...

Spiritually in Christ there is no male or female. Our flesh is not in Christ.
We are dead nevertheless we live yet not us but Christ liveth in us and the life we now live in the flesh we live by the Faith of Christ. Because We have put on Christ. It is no Longer us but Christ. For we have risen with Him and walk in newness of life. All things being new and of GOD.
