I have never seen it in the entire bible. I've read my bible quite a few times and I've never seen it.
It certainly makes no sense why he would because then the person would thank God and he would not get anyone to thank him...
Sounds nutty to me.

The Pharisees claimed Jesus healed people by the "beezlebubs" power, and often people sought "sorcerers" to heal their ailments, and still do. I don't think Satan "heals" people though, but he can... fabricate wellness? Everything the devil does is deception, and always has a price that is never worth paying. People claim to feel better after doing certain rituals, but its temporary, and certainly never ever worth doing, for even if your ailment is suppressed till you die, you will get that, and many times worse in hell. Not too mention all the other bad things that can happen in your life. Sin is a disease, and once you feed it, it starts a chain reaction that causes self-destruction.

Short answer is: No, he can fabricate wellness or suppress illness at best. But the preacher probably chose his words poorly.

Rely on Jesus and no one and nothing else. (Obviously)

Well either way it makes no difference, the enemy of our souls can do nothing unless allowed to do so, (just read Job) so either way if all things work together for our good (Rom. 8:28) it matters not what the enemy does or doesn't do,all our needs are met by the one who gives us life...

No Satan can't heal but like a gang bully he can call off his thugs after you pay for his "protection".

It's not biblical to say Satan can heal, but he is a really good liar.

MATT 12 Jesus and Beelzebul

22 Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see. 23 All the people were astonished and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”
24 But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.”
25 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. 26 If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? 27 And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. 28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
29 “Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house.
30 “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. 31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
33 “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. 34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. 35 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. 36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

JOHN 9 Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind
9 As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. 4 As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. 5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
6 After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. 7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.
8 His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, “Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?” 9 Some claimed that he was.
Others said, “No, he only looks like him.”
But he himself insisted, “I am the man.”
10 “How then were your eyes opened?” they asked.
11 He replied, “The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.”
12 “Where is this man?” they asked him.
“I don’t know,” he said.
The Pharisees Investigate the Healing
13 They brought to the Pharisees the man who had been blind. 14 Now the day on which Jesus had made the mud and opened the man’s eyes was a Sabbath. 15 Therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. “He put mud on my eyes,” the man replied, “and I washed, and now I see.”
16 Some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, for he does not keep the Sabbath.”
But others asked, “How can a sinner perform such signs?” So they were divided.
17 Then they turned again to the blind man, “What have you to say about him? It was your eyes he opened.”
The man replied, “He is a prophet.”
18 They still did not believe that he had been blind and had received his sight until they sent for the man’s parents. 19 “Is this your son?” they asked. “Is this the one you say was born blind? How is it that now he can see?”
20 “We know he is our son,” the parents answered, “and we know he was born blind. 21 But how he can see now, or who opened his eyes, we don’t know. Ask him. He is of age; he will speak for himself.” 22 His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders, who already had decided that anyone who acknowledged that Jesus was the Messiah would be put out of the synagogue. 23 That was why his parents said, “He is of age; ask him.”
24 A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. “Give glory to God by telling the truth,” they said. “We know this man is a sinner.”
25 He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”
26 Then they asked him, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?”
27 He answered, “I have told you already and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you want to become his disciples too?”
28 Then they hurled insults at him and said, “You are this fellow’s disciple! We are disciples of Moses! 29 We know that God spoke to Moses, but as for this fellow, we don’t even know where he comes from.”
30 The man answered, “Now that is remarkable! You don’t know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes. 31 We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will. 32 Nobody has ever heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind. 33 If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.”
34 To this they replied, “You were steeped in sin at birth; how dare you lecture us!” And they threw him out.

...Can the Devil Heal People?...
Ofcourse he can, how on earth do you think people are healed in spiritualist churches, certainly NOT by God the Holy Spirit, but by evil Satanic power being channelled through spiritualists!

This is utter blasphemy. The devil CANNOT heal people.. His power is deceptive. ONLY JESUS can truly heal people. All the devil can do is lie and scheme..

I think that satan and his horde may "mimic" healing but it is against his character as sickness comes from satan and not God. God sent Jesus to heal those that were oppressed by satan.

Acts 10:38 (NASB)
[SUP]38 [/SUP] "You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Luke 13:16 (NASB)
[SUP]16 [/SUP] "And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released from this bond on the Sabbath day?"

Does he heal, or as Ariel said, simply has his boys back off if you are going along with him?

why would he? The only biblical reference I can come up with is the deadly head wound healing of Rev 13:3, if you consider it a literal head wound that is inflicted and not a symbolic one....either way we know such things can be hollywood parlor tricks. But yeah, other than that possible scenario...

I also believe satan can deceive people into believing they are being healed. If satan is the author of the sickness could he not cause the sickness to go away?

Unless satan is imbued with the power of Jesus, he CANNOT heal people.. And he doesn't have the power of Jesus, and never will..
Hes a dang copycat of course he can heal me. He has healed me and many other people in the past I know. Just you can bet there comes no blessing with it. He heals one part and for that something else happens.

The best examples are witch doctors. The true ones can heal all deseases but....the consequences that come with it aint worth a bit

My point exactly. He's a COPYCAT. A mimic. A poor imitation of the real deal. I'd much rather be healed by Jesus rather than a sorry butt imitation who's healing power isn't real. And if YOU have been healed by satan, I certainly feel sorry for you because you are deceived. And deceiving is what the devil does best..
