Mat_24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Why is it impossible for Satan to deceive or mislead the ELECT? THEY KNOW THE TRUTH, and they know Satan can heal in the name of Jesus. Mat 7... People did many wonders in the name of Jesus but HE NEVER KNEW them. Who healed the people in the name of Jesus but Jesus knew not the people who prayed?

I know it is the power God gave to the false teachers, saw it with my own eyes! And boy do people fall for this. And it is ALL TRUTH as God says in mat 24.

Hes a dang copycat of course he can heal me. He has healed me and many other people in the past I know. Just you can bet there comes no blessing with it. He heals one part and for that something else happens.

22. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23. And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25. Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

No. He cannot heal a true christian. That true christian would have to dedicate that part of life to satan to be healed by him and that person would go to hell..and or die A true Christian doesnt ask Satan for help in the first place.

The devil tries to put sickness on Christians, So you are right, Why would he want to heal us.

Here's what I found on miracles in general. Sheds some light.

Copy/paste....

Question: "What does the Bible say about demonic/satanic miracles?"

Answer:
You will be hard pressed to find someone who has never heard of some kind of religious miracle. Many Catholics are convinced of the validity of various sightings of the Virgin Mary, stigmata, weeping or bleeding statues, and even “incorruptible bodies.” There are reported miracles in other religions, as well—Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam all claim to have documented miracles.

Satan has the power to perform miracles. While his power is limited, he can and does perform miracles in order to deceive. John 8:44 says that Satan is a liar and the father of lies. Satan can make himself appear as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). He does this to draw people away from God.

When Moses and Aaron confronted Pharaoh, they performed a miraculous sign to confirm their message from God (Exodus 7:8–10). The magi of Egypt were able to perform the same miracle “by their secret arts” (verse 11). God’s miracle was shown to be greater (verse 12), but the fact is that the magi were able to perform a satanic miracle in the king’s court.

During the tribulation, the Antichrist “will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie” (2 Thessalonians 2:9). These miracles are explicitly said to be empowered by Satan. Jesus warned that the end times will be characterized by the treachery of counterfeit prophets who “will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive” (Matthew 24:24).

The existence of demonic miracles is one reason why we must test all spirits: “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1). Any time we are in doubt, we are to make sure that what is being taught lines up with what Scripture says. If the miracle worker is teaching something contrary to God’s Word, then his miracles, no matter how convincing they seem, are a demonic delusion.

Examples of convincing demonic miracles today are the apparitions of the Virgin Mary in different countries. These appearances of Mary seem legitimate; indeed, they are believed by millions of people. But when we compare what the apparitions say to what Scripture teaches, it is not even close. Over the course of several Marian apparitions, we are told that God wants to establish worldwide devotion to Mary’s immaculate heart, that souls will be saved if devotions to her immaculate heart are established, that she is the mediatrix between man and God, that praying the rosary is required to enter heaven, that she receives and answers prayer, that taking communion makes reparation for sins committed against her, and that blessed objects should be worn and placed in homes.

None of these messages are of God. Jesus is the only way to God (John 14:6). Mary does not have an “immaculate” (sinless) heart. Devotion to Mary is not necessary, and the Bible never instructs us to pray to anyone but God. Jesus is the only mediator between man and God (Hebrews 7:25; 1 Timothy 2:5; 1 John 2:1).

The message of the Marian apparitions clearly contradicts Scripture. Did the people who claim to have seen Mary experience a real miracle? Yes, possibly. However, the entity calling itself “Mary” is not working for God’s glory or pointing people to Jesus Christ. Rather, Mary is being glorified, and people are being told to earn their own salvation by works.

Demonic miracles are real and they do occur. It is our responsibility to make sure that we do not give in to them. We must keep our Bibles open and put God’s revealed truth ahead of any miracle we see.

Last sunday I heard a preacher say that Satan can heal human beings. Is that biblical?
There is not a verse i know of that states satan can heal. Although the bible does state that satan can transform himself as an angel of light, so he may be able to give us comfort to decieve us and keep us from looking to the Lord for comfort and healing. Always look to God's Word to see if it lines up.

This is utter blasphemy. The devil CANNOT heal people.. His power is deceptive. ONLY JESUS can truly heal people. All the devil can do is lie and scheme..
The Devil has ALWAYS immitated God, but especially in lying "signs, wonders and miracles" (i.e., Jannes and Jambres, the occultists in Egypt who opposed Moses and Aaron, Exodus 8v1-7, 2 Tim 3v8), and this will increase GREATLY during the great tribulation. Matt 24v24, 2Thess 2v8-10, Rev 13v11-14.

In Rev 13v11-18 we see the Devil healing the "deadly wound" of the Beast (Antichrist), who then gives power to the False Prophet to do lying signs, wonders and miracles, even calling fire down from Heaven, which was the sign that God did through Elijah to prove that he was a prophet (a man of God), sent by God! 2Kings 1v1-18

If you don't understand something by not having studied the Scriptures on that subject, which you obviously haven't, don't accuse other of blasphemy simply because you disagree with them.

For your own spiritual welfare and well-being I suggest you remedy your ignorance on this subject.

Signs and wonders don't save souls. Jesus rebuked the cities he preformed his great miracles in because they did not repent and turn back to God.

Many people only followed Jesus for food that feed their stomachs and not their souls. Many today only claim Jesus for material gain and not eternal life.

False signs and wonders are not the same as true healing, but if you can't understand that concept, then all I can do is pray for you and leave you with a few Bible verses to meditate upon.

Matthew: 11. 20. Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not: 21. Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22. But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you. 23. And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24. But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

True signs and wonders are one way for people to believe in Jesus - He Himself said so. But there will be false signs too which is why we need the Holy Spirit in us to lead us in all things.

John 10:37-38 (NASB)

[SUP]37 [/SUP] "If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me;

[SUP]38 [/SUP] but if I do them, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father."

John 14:10-12 (NASB)
[SUP]10[/SUP] "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works.

[SUP]11 [/SUP] "Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves.

[SUP]12 [/SUP]
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.

Boy I don't know if we want to promulgate the consequences this could have on the charismatic or Pentecostal church movements.

Think about whether Jesus is more concerned with the Spiritual or the physical wellbeing of men. Healing from the fatal consequences of sin is far more critical than healing the body that must perish and cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Does physical healing appeal to the flesh? Is physical healing always in Gods will for a person? Is old Lucifer sly enough to do good in order to do immense evil? Will Lucifer do good or appear to do good to seal a soul to eternal doom?

I suggest that there is significant historical evidence that faith healers have done just this over the centuries. Even in recent times there have been frauds passing themselves off as healers sent from God.

Acts 19 speaks of the sons of Sceva who went about doing such things for money. Today they write books so folks can help themselves to be better and more acceptable to God.

I see no reason to conclude that Lucifer cannot heal the body of a man.

Satan is going to heal people so they will turn to God, praising Him and following Him for the rest of their lives? Right, got it.

The devil does not and cannot heal people, He is a roaring lion seeking whom he may destroy. The bible say that all healing come from the Lord. I will look it up if you can't. Now in the last days God will give Satan certain powers to further deceive the deceived.

No. God alone heals.
So do doctors :).. I was sick once and a physician healed me. I suspect if a mere mortal could do that, its not a far stretch to think that a powerful angel would have some healing capabilities?

God set up rules irrespective of people. The Lord causes the sun to shine and the rain to fall on the good and bad alike.

The pharaohs magicians performed miracles because of their FAITH, but Moses performed superior miracles because he had superior FAITH.

It is FAITH that gives power for miracles including healing.

Your FAITH has made you whole. That is how placebos work as well.

I think that there is a lot of misinformation in this thread so far.
Whether the Bible specifically helps answer the question or not is no the final arbitrator.

I have personally seen, in various parts of Africa, healers that knew nothing of Jesus Christ or the Bible, healing people by employing spiritual power.
The source of this power was NOT the Holy Spirit - most definitely not.
Those healers who were aware of the Bible and its claims were not shy in admitting that the power that they mediated was not of the God of the Bible and in fact was opposed to it.
These people are not healing in the name of Jesus - far from it!

I have also seen that people healed in this manner having ongoing problems with demonic oppression. It is very obvious that accepting healing via demonic activity opens one up to demonic oppression.

In the bigger picture Satan is a deceiver.
Satan will always try and create plausible and acceptable counterfeits to the real thing.
And accepting a counterfeit always involves unanticipated consequences - in this case demonic oppression.

To think that the demonic and satanic has no spiritual power is silly.
They have plenty of power.
Millions and potentially billions of individuals across this planet are subject to spiritual power that is not from God and not mediated by the Holy Spirit.
These individuals are not Christians and do not have the power to resist these manifestations of power and, in fact, these demonic and satanic entities are closely entwined in the local culture.
Particularly, with respect to healing in many places around the world these demonic healers offer the only service - no hospitals, no clinics, and no churches - and no healing in the name of Jesus Christ.

I feel that for people on this forum who have never travelled outside their country of birth or actually been exposed to what I have outlined above to deny such a possibility on purely "theoretical" grounds is not a plausible position.

I don't know how many people know the history of my wife ( I have shared it before on CC) but she was in and out of hospital the last three years. This year was no exception and she was in hospital for the same stuff (and more) +- 2 months ago. Doctors were so happy to see her again because the bills just kept on coming and after a while our medical aid was exhausted. We couldn't do all of the tests the hospital required because we had to pay a lot of money out of our own pockets.

She went back to work and somebody told her to go and see a homeopath. After a 90 minute consultation at a fraction of the price a "normal GP" would charge we had a result. He told her what was wrong and we have something to work with (and it is working).

In the end she had to go and see a chiropractor and he showed her that her one leg was shorter than the other leg. I don't know if you have seen these prayers by pastors (I have seen on many occasions God healing people by letting their legs grow back into balance)? This chiropractor did exactly the same by doing his "tricks". I don't know if he is a Christian but he didn't do it through prayers but through his knowledge. The long and the short of this is that God can heal us and amen to that because He is YHWH Rapha... but an Atheist will not be convinced because medicine can give him the same result.

Can Satan heal us. Yes, by giving the humans knowledge he is healing us through medicine and people are turning away from ABBA Father because Satan is busy deceiving us with knowledge.

Yes, people are doing Yoga and all these things and there are power in the spirits they use but like you say it is not from God and that is why we have to discern.

Israel made a golden calf in honour of YHWH Elohim and danced in front of it. God did not accept their gift because He is the only God and does not mix the seed (of religion)

:)
