God has already shown again and again that sin is not acceptable and will lead to total destruction as we are taught throughout the new testament will come with the return of Christ Jesus. yet each time people begin saying " God is too good He chose us Hell never destroy us because of sin like He says"



Jude 1:17-23 "But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit....


there is so much more saying the same things the point is this, were told clearly there would be false teachers among the church. were told clearly not to be deceived by them who are explaining How our deeds dont matter or cant disqualify from Gods Kingdom. notice all those dont be decieved words above and that they are always connected to the believers actions. Like the devil in the beginning, the goal is to Get you to believe its okay to disobey God because if we believe that Just like the serpent did to eves mind, it will lead us to acting on our belief that obedience is optional.


remember that satan doesnt work to get the non believers hes already got them, His goal is to Get those who believe, to not obey God because sin is death. He doesnt tell you that His message is subtle and crafty. " salvation has nothing to do with whether or not you sin God is too Good to punish you" "did God really say that you need to repent? naw look were saved by Grace, that means nothing you do matters, because then its not Grace so all the other stuff ignore trust me i know :)


His messages will always be tempting " go ahead and eat the fruit, pshh you will not die, its actually good for you" He will quote scripture but always need to ignore the rest, only what He is sharing is what Matters. remember he quoted scripture to Jesus when tempting Him. and used Gods word against eve to begin with. you may not like me much lol im not that popular here, but thats okay. Im trying hard to share something with you that will help you to spot deception.


God will never insinuate or say that sin isnt a big deal or wont harm you. satan always will suggest that sin isnt a big deal and wont hurt you. its eternally a principle of God. His doctrine will always encourage you to follow your desires and put off Gods. Hell Hide this from you >> Now that you have the Holy spirit, you can Hear and obey God if you will accept that you are able and that it is Gods will for you, His good will for you He will never instruct us wrong His word is trustworthy, His commands infallible and they are for our safe keeping for our good. His warnings are treasures.


I just want to encourage you not to fear scriptures like this, when you believe them, and set your Heart to learn and obey Gods instructional words the " How to act and Live things, because you already Know Jesus provided everything you need forgiveness, the Holy spirit, righteousness and a relationship with God who is able to do all things even make you new and clean and righteous.....you will find that the thought you cant do that is a lie and that God has done what He has said He did in Jesus. and this is what really was accomplished in Christ.


2 peter 1: 3-11 "According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. you are capable of overcoming now ! believe whats really been done. its all Gods doing, through Jesus Christ our Lord all glory to God, what He did however was make YOU able through His Sons gift of forgiveness, instruction and sending the Holy spirit into you all for the purpose of Giving you all you need to choose eternal Life. take good care and Please simply consider these things even pray about them God will answer.

I think there are many Christians who struggle with sin, and laws just add to their struggle. If we can learn to love the Lord and then love our neighbors, I think that's all we can really hope for from ourselves.

Everything else is tiresome.

The Messiah teaches us and gives us the Holy Spirit.. one finds rest for their soul and it is not heavy.

AMEN ! brother FJ. The work/creation of God does not stop at the cross. For the true Follower it really just starts there...when our 'old man dies and we are resurrected to 'NEW Life in Christ.
What the 'old man/woman could not do NOW becomes possible in the 'new Person and it starts with Belief and Obedience !
not forgetting it is all based on what our Lord and Savior has done for us !!!

Through and by the Spirit of Christ we are being created anew...this time to lovingly and willingly doing the Will of God and letting Him finish the work He begun in us.

If we did not have the Commandments (10) HOW would we know HOW to love God and neighbour ???
People would just use THEIR OWN human understanding...which we are told NOT to lean on !

no one is talking about the Mosaic Law thats what the gog teaches you, the difference is Gods commandments arent something that wieghs anyone down, not if they have received the Holy spirit, sure, one with no spirit will see the commandments as a burden, as a wieght around a neck. Not a Child of God though. We understand that Gods ways are right, they are Good, they will not harm us or condemn us, He is Love and His word expresses that Love truly.

to remove what God has said fromk the Holy bible to disregard the consistant principles that cannot be ignored to One who believes the Word of GOD <<< ( that term God means something) then i would have to as you are suggesting decide in my own mind what people need to see in God thats what false teachers do. the truth is the Bible expresses perfectly who God is all of His character, all of His nature and He from eden has been saying in no unclear terms " Sin will destroy your life, it will expell you from my presence and you will die, stop turn around and come Home.

you gog folks always equate obeying God to a terrible condemning work and at the same time claim to Have received His spirit with Joy. a secret you should consider is that Gods Spirit will never see His commandments as a burden or a yoke that is against a person. the difference in the " law of moses" times is that they did not have the spirit in them, they wer unable to really please God because thier Hearts were " deceitful and icked above all else" no mater what they did, thier Hearts saw the good as an oppression because they inwardly wantd the forbidden things, took comfort in sin. Now though IF a person Has received His spirit then the excuse " im just a sinner and cant do right cant please God is gone....its the reason Jesus died and rose and then was seated Beside God and sent the Holy spirit to believers.

todays church acts as if there is no power in Gods Spirit, as if its just a myth, or maybe a magical thing that teaches you to look away from Gods word which has been then and always will be Life eternal. its not about what you think, or i think its about what God has made so abundantly clear. all aspects of His word are in the word for a reason, and all the warningsk there for a reason just as much as the grace is there for a reason. grace without truth is nothing of any value. Grace and truth together is salvation and it has zero to do with the book of the mosaic Law. im not saying the mosaic Law is of no value, because it is of Great value to learn and understand the Gospel.

Life is found from matthew 1:1 to the end of John. if Jesus Christ who died for you, is clearly saying " if you love me you will obey my commands, if you do not Love me you will not obey my commands" john 14-15. and He is and repeats that in many places in the gospel with different words and teachings, then thats soimply how it is. so then the person saying how much they Love Jesus, cant acceopt what Jesus said about Loving Him. its a testing of the Heart its what makes Love for God true and obeying Him is what Love for others IS.

1 john 5:1-5 "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

not a few verses i have said, not a bit of what i said but whatsoever I have said. that includes what Jesus is saying Here that Gods word is to Obey Jesus.

this doesnt sell to the world so therefore false teachers remove it from your belief, but who will you believe? Jesus or what a rich man who has sold you a lie tells you? id God with the Hoily Bible it will always and forever be right. you dont need believe me. im telling you to believe what Jesus Christ said and not just one verse or two but all he said makes a very clear message and thats when real Hope comes to Life. trust in Gods Word and comopare what someone tells you to the Word without letting them explain it doesnt apply to you or it doesnt mean what it says and watch What God will do in your Life, just because you believe Jesus.

from matthew 1:1- the last verse in John you will find Gods will for you, Just learn and Believe, but refuse to ommit what you may not like to Hear. pray daily as you learn ask for the Power to obey God. seek to Please God in obeying Jesus Christ and the Gospel and all His commandments will be kept without greivanca. your motivation ? Jesus suffered so greatly, was falsely accused, spit on, beaten by the preislty counsel and then by the roman guards, was Mocked spit on again. was whipped under order of pilate, insulted made a public spectacle , made to carry the criminals cross through the streets of His beloved city. and finally had nails driven through His hands and feet to fasten Him to a wooden cross where His blood ran don to the ground with His tears and agony Jesus did that FOR YOU AND FOR ME AND FOR ALL OF THEM.

your ability? Jesus sent the spirit of God into Believers that they may posses the Power to walk as Children of God in a dark World and be a true Light to the Lost. partakers of Gods nature as you read in the Op. you are able to walk as God desires in His word. Just believe Jesus and the gospel with all you have in you and watch What God will do in your Heart and Life. you will learn what you are really capable of, Learn who you really are a child of the Living God, and children of God....they look like Jesus in thier ways. Just be who He has already placed within you find Him and embrace Him and Love Him His way and you will Live eternally in the Presence of God, and you will also be a tiny part of helping another to grasp the truth. Because once you step out and hear Jesus in truth and follow where the good shepherd Leads by His Word, you will never turn away and you will Know the truth of Jesus Christ and you will share that because you Know the truth of it having experienced Jesus Christ His Way, the true Way. His commandments is to trust Jesus enough to follow His word because that is what will lead to Loving Him in truth, and Loving others in truth.

Paul is speaking what the works of the flesh look like. In Gal. 5 and 1 Cor. 6.

For some reason many people do not quote after 1 Cor. 6:10 which is 11 and 12.

1 Corinthians 6:11-12 (NASB)
[SUP]11 [/SUP] Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

[SUP]12 [/SUP] All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.

The sons of dis-obedience are those that reject Christ for salvation and receive the forgiveness of sins.

The works of the flesh do not send you to hell if you are sealed in your spirit by the Holy Spirit. That's a bunch of religious nonsense. Sin will however deceive you and distort your view of your loving Father and Lord, distort your view of others as well as your true self as a new creation in Christ.

amen sister its time the church awakes from thier slumber that the Light of Christ may shine on them. if we will not rise up and let His light shine in His truth then darkness will complete its job in this fading place. Time to Honor What Jesus has done and realize what it is He has really accomplished in us through His suffering, His glory in rising and what He sent when He sat beside Our God sending the spirit Just as He promised to do. Just as the apostles all confirm He has done. we have been made able, given motivation of His Love shown for us, and the way has been paved and announced and been made clearly the eternal authority and Only way, truth and Life that God will ever offer. Jesus and the gospel of the Kingdom of God

What are others thoughts on the "works of the flesh" in Gal. 5:19-21.

I will give you my own thoughts on this subject up front.

If our "eternal security" is based on not doing the works of the flesh as some try to preach - you would think that the term "things like these" would be qualified because don't you think we should know what "these things are"? - if they are going to throw us into hell?

In Gal 5 - "strife" is one in the list too as well as "things like these". What are those things? If someone doesn't know exactly "what exactly these things are" they would go to hell with the interpretation that the list in Gal. 5:19-21 means not going to heaven.

Galatians 5:19-21 (NASB)
[SUP]19 [/SUP] Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality,

[SUP]20 [/SUP] idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions,

[SUP]21 [/SUP] envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Inheriting the kingdom of God is not meaning "to go to heaven" in these scriptures. It means to live the quality of life that is in the kingdom now on this earth. The kingdom of God is within us now.

If we live by the flesh we will not receive the benefits that are ours in Christ as sin will distort our view of God, ourselves and others. We need to view Gal 5:19-25 in context with the fruit of the Spirit that brings life to us here on this earth.
