Hey brothers/sisters (especially those who are "clued up"

Have you noticed how closely linked (in teachings) Word of Faith and Latter Rain are. All the groups that have emerged out of the original Latter Rain teach the "little gods" doctrine. This is why Latter Rain has come up with "manifest Sons of God", "Joels Army" "new breed" theology which has now become a movement within the New Apostolic Reformation.

Even though I am Assemblies of God, which is against the Latter Rain Movement, I must admit I agree with prophesying (most already know that) so I do not see a problem with the Latter Rain movement in that respect. I do disagree with the "little gods" doctrine so I find myself somewhere in the middle of agreeing with the Assemblies of God and agreeing with the Latter Rain movement to some extent. I guess I wouldn't be completely AOG on the matter or Latter Rain on the matter.

I believe it is a good example of how something good can happen and false doctrine or false teachers can still corrupt it.

That is a big surprise for me because I don't remember the restriction of women not teaching being found in the Torah. Perhaps it was Paul's admonition because of a man-made law? But we don't have such laws in our own society today. I think if a woman has something to say that's valuable I'm going to jump on it. I love learning new things.

I wonder if this is one of the verses that was taught because of the time period. because this time women had little rights. I mean the way that verse talks women shouldn't talk at all and obviously women to talk at church.

I heard that and I believe she was talking about when Christ went to preach in hell to give people a chance to repent.

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Honestly, the more* blatant heresy that comes out of Charismatic/Pentecostal groups is causing me to want to avoid Charistmatics/Pentecostals as whole to protect myself.


*More as in, an increasing amount.
