"Born Again" is a major topic in the churches today. You will hear people in the churches, on the street, at work, even in jail, making the statement, "since I have been born again." Let's take a close look at this, and see if these people are making a true statement or giving themselves a false sense of security. If you have any knowledge of the Holy Scriptures you know the Lord has a time set for everything, and it will not come to past until it is time.

With that being said, let's jump into a conversation that the God of Israel and a religious leader by the name Nicodemus is having on the subject "born again." Pay very close attention and you will see the Lord makes it very simple

John 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Notice verse 3, except a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. We have just learned something here. If you are not born again you can not see the kingdom of God. As we go further you will understand this. Remember there is a time for everything

OK so all who is born again can SEE the Kingdom of God? I remember how Stephen looked up and he SAW the Son of man stand on the right side of God. Now how many of us saw this? I wonder... Also God says BELIEVE not every spirit.. but put them to the proof, only those that CONFESS JESUS HAS COME IN THE FLESH.... what flesh HIS? No!!!! That flesh in front of you!!!!

If you say to me, I am born again... you better SHOW JESUS, or I do not believe you! I am NOT BORN AGAIN YET!!!!
But I have this hope...

Here is my take on the subject of born again.... I read John17, the whole chapter to see what God planned for the BORN OF GOD/SPIRIT... and then I read 1 John 3 the whole chapter to SEE HOW THE WITNESS JESUS IN THE FLESH!

If we read those two chapters there cannot be any more doubt of God's plan for HIS CHILDREN and how HE ACHIEVES it! Rebirth = Born of God, Jesus in you, and you in Jesus, Being glorified by God with HIS SPIRIT into you! This happens AFTER you clansed yoursel as He is clean.... 1 John 3:3... Purified!

In Christianity, to be born again is to undergo a "spiritual rebirth" (regeneration) of the human soul or spirit, contrasted with the physical birth everyone experiences. The origin of the term "born again" is the New Testament: "Jesus replied, 'Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born again.'"[Jn 3:3 NIV][1]

It is a term associated with salvation in Christianity. Individuals who profess to be born again often state that they have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.[

Nicodemus asked a very good question. Take a look at the next set of verses.

John 3:4

Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

In verse 5, born of the water in this case is the Word of God.

Notice the Lord mentions the kingdom of God again, but He adds a little more information.

He says "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

When he mentions spirit He means exactly that.

Watch how the Lord gives something physical to describe exactly what He means.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Notice He made a difference between flesh and spirit.

John 3:7
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:
so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Notice He compared the wind to a spirit, Can you see the wind? No!

We have seen things being blown around by the wind, but we have never seen the wind.

If you are born of the spirit you are like the wind.

This is when you are truly born again, when you are born of the spirit.

well i have not been baptized but i was baptized with the holy spirit of fire, Thus born again. I know i have a place in heaven but i don't want to barely make it there. we all are building our houses to be tested by fire but i wish i knew what i was building my house out of. Jesus will of course be the base but i want it allto be made of jewels and the richness of God's love.People argue saying you cannot go to heaven until you are baptized(by water) but if it were that easy then anyone could go to heaven, we must be baptised by the holy spirit then by water

Born Again is being reborn in BOTH Body and mind. the First fruits is having the HOLY SPIRIT and having a new heart and spirit placed in your heart when God saves and redeems you.

People will be given spiritual bodies when Jesus returns. just as there is difference between different star bodies. a difference between heavenly and earthly bodies.

however people are BORN again NOW in the Spirit although they await the redemption of their bodies.

Romans 8
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. 24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

Amen Clark salvation is at the end of the LEAD OF HOLY SPIRIT! When HE FILLS us with the Spirit.. JESUS IS BORN INTO US... AT THE END OF OUR REPENTANCE.. When we lay down that last sin... GOD WASHES ALL AWAY, and PUTS A NEW SPIRIT IN US... ONE THAT CAN ONLY OBEY HIM... HE HOLY SPIRIT!
Eze_36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

how is your mind born again?

this is called a conversion in the bible

Matthew 13:15
For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Mark 4:12
That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

James 5:20
Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

Notice what Jesus does in these next few verses. Remember, this is after His resurrection.
John 20:26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Note two very important things within these verses.

1. Jesus appeared in the midst of them and the doors were shut.

2. Thomas called Him God.

When Jesus came out of the grave he was born into the God family

When Thomas called Jesus God was he still a man?

Take a look at this verse in the book of Numbers.

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man
, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Note what the verse says, God is not a man, neither is he the son of man.

While Jesus walked with His disciples He called Himself the son of man. He was exactly that. He was born of a woman. But, when he was raised from the dead He was no longer in the man family neither was He flesh and blood. If he was flesh and blood He would not have been able to appear in the middle of the room with his apostles.

Luke 24:27

Look at verse 31, once they realized that it was Jesus they spoke with, what happen?

He vanished out of their sight.

Remember in John chapter 3 and verse 8.

The Lord gave an example
of how a spirit would look.

He likened a spirit to the wind.( John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.)

Can you or can you not see the wind?

With the flesh and blood eye you cannot SEE spirit likened to the wind, but you can PERCEIVE IT. The leaves blowing from it's INFLUENCE. By both the TRASH AND THE DUST ALONG WITH IT. Without the dust from a tornado, it'll be hard to be warned in time when one strikes! Likewise we are to test the spirits. Not by the dust (flesh) carried by it, but in the same way we "see" wind.

Not so long ago i was bemused by people saying they were "born again"

What on earth does that mean i thought....

Only after being Baptized with the Holy Spirit did i understand what they meant... it was amazing a change inside out...

No, it had gone.. all those fears and all that bitterness had gone.. it all was clear now the Light within shown me the darkness... the darkness of my spirit was only known to me once the Light came..

Each day since is a day of learning.. a work in progress.. Keep my eyes on the Light and walk in Faith.

That warm love given must not selfishly be kept share it... let the Light shine in Spirit and Truth.

The forgiveness shown to me, must be passed on in forgiveness.

The Truth given must be heard for the Glory of Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah.

He is my refuge, he is my strength, he is my everything.

I Love my Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah with all my heart and soul.

We each have our own relationship and journey home, measure no one else by yourself.
