it is both a physical change that comes over the body and it is all a mental change that comes over the mind. it is an awakening of new perceptions. it is release from the sinful desire of the flesh. it is the death of ego and the rebirth of love. emotions long ago shut off have returned. everything physical we have enjoyed sits in the shade when compared to Spiritual Love.

remember those 3-d posters they used to sell at the mall? they were just a mess of dots and eventually you would see a picture instead of the dots. this is exactly what it is like to become aware of the kingdom of God. before i was born again those dots were things that i looked at for my own purpose and desires. when i confessed and asked Jesus for help those dots all came to form a new picture i had never seen before. this time i perceived how those dots were serving Gods will. its a picture that literally encompasses the entire world and works through all of creation. it is hearing all of heaven and earth singing in a single voice.

to say you get a new mind and understanding is an understatement that can only be witnessed to. describing it brings controversy as the blind refuse to accept you can see what they cannot. they see with their own mind, the born again have experienced the mind of Christ and see things in a new way. before you are born again you see white light into a prism, after being born again you see the rainbow coming out of the prism. it is still the same light, it has not changed, it is us that are changed. the teachings of the bible become a reality of experience as you become conformed to the image of Christ.

the physical changes that come from being born again is a release from the physical desires that once dominated your life. you no longer have the cravings and urges that you used to. physical addiction to drugs/alcohol passes and the desire is no longer even there to do them. the physical desires are changed with this sexually as well. your body no longer burns with desire of lust. while both things can still be done the body no longer reacts to them as they used to. an orgasm which used to be a total focus of physical experience no longer effects you that way. a sneeze now days seems to be more physically satisfying. born again of imperishable seed indeed.

i saw and knew nothing until i confessed and asked Jesus for help. the bible is the word of God and Jesus is his Son. i am a witness

It is explained in scripture.
For as Jesus died on the cross we died with Him, ( to flesh)
We no longer live but that Jesus lives in us. (His spirit)
For I no longer live but it is Jesus who lives in me!
Our flesh is the temple in which we reside, but we now live in Jesus, born of His spirit!

God bless

how is your mind born again?

this is called a conversion in the bible

Matthew 13:15
For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Mark 4:12
That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

James 5:20
Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
it is also called "being alive from the dead", however the fact that there other names doesn't mean that it is not ALSO referring to being born again of the Spirit.

Romans 6
10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. 11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. 13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 1
2 corinthians 5

16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

do you know what it means to die to your sins and be risen again in Christ through the ministry of reconcilation? do you know what it means to be a NEW creation in Christ?

that is what it means to be born again and have the firstfruits of the Spirit. It is something that happens in this life, the hope is for the adoption and redemption of the body, but you are born again in the Spirit when you are recoiled with God through the blood of the Lamb.

by the way, those verses you gave are just the first step in making a heart humble and contrite. Only God can give sight to the blind and allow the deaf to hear HIS gospel of reconcilation. it is not OUR righteousness the recoils us to GOD but Christ's righteousness and sacrifice for us.

2 Corinthians 5
18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

With the flesh and blood eye you cannot SEE spirit likened to the wind, but you can PERCEIVE IT. The leaves blowing from it's INFLUENCE. By both the TRASH AND THE DUST ALONG WITH IT. Without the dust from a tornado, it'll be hard to be warned in time when one strikes! Likewise we are to test the spirits. Not by the dust (flesh) carried by it, but in the same way we "see" wind.
What did The Lord say? Why at you adding your words.

God compared a born again to the wind

Not so long ago i was bemused by people saying they were "born again"

What on earth does that mean i thought....

Only after being Baptized with the Holy Spirit did i understand what they meant... it was amazing a change inside out...

No, it had gone.. all those fears and all that bitterness had gone.. it all was clear now the Light within shown me the darkness... the darkness of my spirit was only known to me once the Light came..

Each day since is a day of learning.. a work in progress.. Keep my eyes on the Light and walk in Faith.

That warm love given must not selfishly be kept share it... let the Light shine in Spirit and Truth.

The forgiveness shown to me, must be passed on in forgiveness.

The Truth given must be heard for the Glory of Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah.

He is my refuge, he is my strength, he is my everything.

I Love my Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah with all my heart and soul.

We each have our own relationship and journey home, measure no one else by yourself.
We have a common salvation all of us has access to Jesus and his Father
Where is it that we all have out own special relationship?

Show me one place in the bible that a person said he was born again ?

Jude 1:3 (KJV)
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

I know you are still in your flesh and blood body
I know you are not like the wind
I know you have been born once into the family of man
I know you are not born again

This I know and can prove

In Genesis the Lord set things in order.

Take a look at Genesis and see the distinction between man and God.

Genesis 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

12 And the earth brought forth grass and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

24 And God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind” and it was so.

25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Note these things which were created were after its kind.

Notice the change in the next scripture.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Notice man is made in the image of God after his likeness not after His kind. Meaning we look like Him but, we are not made up of the same substance. Take a look at Genesis chapter 2 verse 7.

There you will find the 2 elements that men are made of.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Keep on with your vigilant search for the truth in the Word of God Ozell.........
But before you do, please answer me this.
Why didn't the apostles make Titus get circumcised? - (Last part of Acts 15)

Answer me that and then you can go on with your crusade.

Notice what it says, man was formed from the dust of the ground, and the Lord breathed the breath of life into his nostrils.

Dust and breath that's it, nothing else.

Take note also it says man became a living soul. It did not say a soul was placed in the man. You are the soul?

Men also have another similarity other than the outward image of The Godhead members. Notice what the Lord says in Genesis chapter 3.

Genesis 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken

Titus was circumcised Rick

Galatians 2:3 (KJV)
But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:

I know!
That's what I've been saying all this time Ozell.
This is how he made a new creation out of the spirit of man with the second Adam(Jesus).
Not out of dust and breath but out of the Spirit of the living God.
(John 17) - Comforter. - Call it the new breath on those who He gave the grace to have faith in.

He was NOT COMPELLED to be circumcised! (Read it!)
