Another popular Myth in the religious world today, is the Jesus Christ died or gave His Life for everyone in the world without exception, but the problem with that, there is not one shred of scripture evidence that states that.

The scripture however does say that He died for His Sheep or His Church as per Jn 10:11,15

11I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

15As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

Eph 5:25

25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

His People Isa 53:8

8He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. cp Matt 1:21

Now, are all without exception His Sheep ? No

Are all without exception His Church ? No

Are all without exception His People ? No

For surely the seed of the serpent Gen 3:15 cannot be of His Sheep, His Church, or His People.

So why does the religous world proclaim that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception, when they have no scripture proof ? Because it is a Myth.

I don't read the Bible like this:

John 3:16

New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)

[SUP]16 [/SUP]“For God so loved his sheep that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.

HIs people=his sheep=his church
All OT saints- those who were justified by faith- are his people. All NT saints- those who believe in him and do his will- are his people. God is waiting for many more to be included among His people.

Really?....not ONE shred of evidence?.....are these few verses in your Bible?

Mar 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mar 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

Joh 3:15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Joh 6:33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world."

Joh 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world."

Joh 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."

Joh 12:46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

Joh 12:47 And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.

I agree with T_Laurich when the bible does state (which the original poster even quoted) Jesus gave his life for EVERYONE'S sins, not just a few...how...hypocritical would that be of God, to say that some aren't worthy of such love. The fact is, everyone is worthy of Jesus' love, to fall into the arms of Jesus. To have Jesus die for thier sins.

BUT, not everyone accepts that love, that's where some people get confused when they say Jesus doesn't love them or harp on about why me etc, thats because they haven't accepted Jesus with all thier heart, or possibly not at all. This life isn't a free ride, you can't just go on about your life like you can accept Jesus at the last minute and everything will be ok.

Point is, yes Jesus died for His Sheep, His sheep are his children, we-everyone- are His children. AMAZING ISN'T IT!!??

(sorry if I got off track, I have ADHD) :)

1 John 2:2
And He the propitiation is, encompassing the sins of us, not encompassing those of ours only, but also encompassing those of all the cosmos.

Jesus really DID die for the sins of the whole world to such a degree that NO ONE will be in hell because of their sins!

False Christ's

Matt 24:24

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

The False Christs here means, the different denominations saying we serve and witness of the True Christ. Also the false Christ, is that Christ that is presented that He loved of all of humanity, and died for all of humanity without exception, to give them a chance at getting saved.

Thats a False Christ. If anyone believes that lie, that Christ died for everyones sins in the world without exception, you have been deceived, and unless God gives you repentance, you are on your way to hell, forever !

That's false, for Jesus clearly states some are in peril of dying in unbelief and in their sins [plural] Jn 8:24

24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

If you were accurate in your statement, Jesus would have said, if ye believe not that I am He ye shall die in your sin [singular].

The world in all those verses means the all the Elect, Sheep, or the Church.

See most people do not understand what the word world means. Its the word kosmos and one of its meaning is :

any aggregate or general collection of particulars of any sort !

So that means, all of His Sheep make up a World ! Or all of Christ's Body members the Church, constitute a World. Tats the World Christ came to save and did save by His Death. So appealing to the word world cannot help you here, because it means any aggregate or general collection of particulars of any sort . This you cannot possibly refute, sorry !

3:16 is not only the most famous verse, but probably the most wrongly isolated.
3:17 should not be separated from it.
If we stop before verse 3:22, we rob ourselves of this -

The condemnation mentioned in this passage clearly states what it refers to, and it does not refer to "where we go" when we die.

it is the unbelief which is the killer

and the sins then become a punishment

What scripture says that. You just contradicted yourself.

You said:

Jesus really DID die for the sins of the whole world to such a degree that NO ONE will be in hell because of their sins!

Looks like you are faced with a problem , doesn't it, since world does not have to mean all without exception.

This is weird for "milk baby christians" but the OP stated the Truth !!

I'm aware the fact stated in John 3:16 which saying salvation is for everyone who believes. If someone has discernment can really tell the exact meaning of this verse. This verse is conditional since only those who believe can receive salvation. Who are these people ? simple...These are HIS CHURCH !!! The very reason why Jesus came to earth is to save His Own people(church).

God is not man. God is omniscient. He can foresee things or events before it happens. There's no surprise for Him. Therefore He already knew whose His or not. He knew already that only few will accept the gift He offers and the rests will choose the eternal damnation instead. Our names(only those who believes) were already written in the Book of Life before the foundation of the world. You accepted Jesus because your name was listed.

Ephesians 1:4
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Revelation 13:8
And all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.

The Holy Spirit goes only those who are in the Book !!!
