I use to think once upon time that it is was my Job to prove to the Lord that i love him and it was my Job to prove to the lord that mankind and people are not all naturally evil , this was when i had problems with the lord because of afflictions i had suffered along the way and not understanding stuff like Noah etc and the Flood.

I was just young back then,, but now i have grown up and sadly its true some people will stay evil all there life's. However through out my journey i have learned that people are afflicted and can be brought back to God through love and care and humor and happiness and joy. And a renewed Fighting spirit and forgiveness. The fighting spirit they had but was lost along the way,,because of maybe trust they had put in someone only to have it stripped away. By people who want you to be week and be a dummy like the governments of this world or family members who have always hated you because of other family members who have corrupted there minds.

So when i read a story like i am an atheist,, and no one bothers to find out why,, I ask my self how can that person who does not bother to find out why be saved. surly he knows what it is like to feel hurt,, surly everyone in this world has felt hurt,, or is it like the Canaanites where people are naturally evil and will always stay that way,, greed hate jealousy.. what ? I don't know and i don't let it bog me down anymore because i know my farther and his body of children is all that i need ,, I have nothing to prove someone whose love is unconditional amen.

maybe people are not naturaly eveil maybe its the way they have been taught, but as we get older we get wiser and we see the damage that hate brings,, so for me anyone above certain age who continues to hate has no excuse.

They say life begins at fourty but judging from 55 year old and 65 year old hear evidently that i s not the case and what make my heart hurt more is these people claim to be Christians. a child of God does not continue to mock.

We are called to lead by following Jesus and then "be prepared to give an answer for the reason for our faith". What is translated "night monster" in the ASV and NASB translations?


ASV & NASB Isaiah 34:14 The desert creatures will meet with the wolves, The hairy goat also will cry to its kind; Yes, the night monster will settle there And will find herself a resting place.

The embarrassing truth is that translators do not know to which creature the Hebrew word refers. This is illustrated by the different translations.
NIV Isaiah 34:14 Desert creatures will meet with hyenas, and wild goats will bleat to each other; there the night creatures will also repose and find for themselves places of rest.
ESV Isaiah 34:14 And wild animals shall meet with hyenas; the wild goat shall cry to his fellow; indeed, there the night bird settles and finds for herself a resting place.
KJV Isaiah 34:14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.
NKJV Isaiah 34:14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the jackals, And the wild goat shall bleat to its companion; Also the night creature shall rest there, And find for herself a place of rest.
From the KJV using Strong’s concordance and Hebrew lexicon we can see that the Hebrew word is ‘lilith’.
Strong’s no. 03917 ‘lilith’ from 03915 (‘layil’ – night).
The word appears just once in the Old Testament and is believed to be derived from the Hebrew ‘layil’ – night. From this we might conclude that it is a nocturnal animal or bird that inhabits desolate places. For this reason the KJV has gambled on ‘screech owl’. The ESV has gone with the more conservative ‘night bird’ and the NIV and NKJV have chosen the safe option ‘night creature’.
The ASV and the NASB probably feeling that ‘night creature’ wasn’t exciting enough for the American market have gone for the full Hollywood version ‘night monster’. That there are no night ‘monsters’ in Idumea is no barrier to a fertile imagination.
This illustrates nicely the benefit of using a Bible version from which the original language can be accessed via Strong’s concordance and Hebrew and Greek Lexicons. This spares us from the theatrical yearnings and personal axe-grindings of translators.

just some fearsome beast that prowls at night, maybe a jackal. i don't know that it's "embarassing" that translators don't know exactly what animal Isaiah referred to -- there are also many particular plants for example mentioned in the scripture that no one is 100% sure the particular genus & species. we're not even 100% sure about a cubit or an omer - though we have a pretty good idea what the measurements are in our terms of feet or meters or liters etc.
for instance, do you know what a "polecat" is? in some parts of the country that's a skunk, and in others it's a weasel, in others it's a marmot. if you dug up some scrap of a letter 6,000 years from now and it was talking about polecats, you wouldn't be sure what animal they were talking about, and 6,000 years from now you'd probably have different names for it and different slang too.
this is why in the old KJV the word "dragon" pops up a lot. in old English, 'dragon' was a word not just used for literal flying lizard critters, but any sort of reptile or mean looking animal that you didn't have a name for already. if you just heard some weird call or saw a flash of something big lumbering off into the woods, you might call it a 'dragon' not meaning to imply it was a fire-breathing lizard.

ok let me re illiterate for you, you mentioned the Adolf Hitlers of this world and said we all have it in us to be like that, so i brought up the hairy Goat or a scary night monster, passage ,, now in my translations it say Adolf Hitler was a night creature ,, and in the American translation it says he was a scary night monster, yes so now we try to find out exactly what Adolf Hitler was,,

ee yuck thees chupacabras are sick and evil now if we look here some chupacabras have wings and some look almost human like which would explain Adolf Hitler yes,, and so the question do hairy bleating Goats or scary monsters exist still in human form, we we know hairy bleeting goats do, but do they have the capacity to be scary monsters like this chupacabras,, the answer is yes,, because there are satanists at work in the real world,, be very careful and guard your heart and pray to Jesus.

I don't believe that but i do believe that human been heads can give a very nasty bite and leave a stink like a skunk that lasts a liftime.
