Why you should love Muslims
God loves Muslims!
Muslims are loved by God in the same way that He loves all people. Like all humans, Muslims are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27). Like all humans, Muslims sin and fall short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). Like all humans, God loved them so much that He sent His son, so that those who believe in Jesus will have eternal life (John 3:16).

God calls Muslims to Himself!
God designed all of us to seek after Him. That includes Muslims. "From one man, He made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth", …God did this so men would seek Him and perhaps reach out to Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. For in him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:24-31, especially 26,30)." Like you and I, God has placed "eternity in their hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11)."

The only good Muslims … are most Muslims.
The media tends to picture Muslims as wild-eyed terrorists who want to bomb America and kill all Christians. The overwhelming majority of Muslims are peace-loving, hospitable people.

Muslims are people, too!
Most Muslims are concerned about the same things as you and I. They want to raise their children well, they are concerned about rising crime and pornography, and work hard to pay their bills and survive. Like us, most Muslims decry human suffering and violence between peoples. Many Muslims yearn for peace, friendship, and a happy life. We share the same concerns and needs.

God is at work among Muslims!
Many Muslims are sensitive to God and spiritual things. Because they fear God and are aware of spiritual reality, Muslims often speak of how God appeared to them through dreams and visions, just like He did to the God-fearer Cornelius (Acts 10:1-8). Stories abound of healings because of God's power through Jesus. An increasing number of Muslims are hungry to know about God's dramatic work through Jesus.

Because we are spiritually related.
Many Muslims look to 'Ibrahim (Abraham) as "our forefather (Romans 4:1)." Since those who follow Jesus call Abraham "the father of all who believe (Romans 4:11)," that makes us 'cousins'! Like us, Muslims believe in one true God, the Creator of all peoples.

Because they value our Holy Book and Jesus.
The Q'uran specifically commends the Torat (books of the Law, the first five books of the Bible); the Zibur (the Psalms, or wisdom literature); and the injil (the Gospels). Jesus was sent by God to earth; Jesus healed many during his ministry; and he is returning to judge the living and the dead.

Because they have something to teach us.
Muslims take the spiritual world very seriously and generally are more open to discuss spiritual issues. They have a very high respect for God and His power. Muslims place a high value on community and loyalty. Hospitality is very important to them. These are qualities that most westerners appreciate in their Muslim friends.

God made promises to their ancestors.
Many Muslims look to 'Ibrahim (Abraham) as their descendant through his first son, Ishmael. God made this promise to Ibrahim: "As for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold, I will bless him, and I will make him fruitful, and I will multiply him. He shall become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation (Genesis 17:20)." God fulfilled this promise, for there are over one billion Muslims in the world today!

Because God promised that Muslims who follow Jesus will be part of the multitudes who are gathered about the Throne of God. (They Follow Him Do Not Believe Me Ask A Muslim)
When God gathers all His people at the end of time, there will be representatives from every people group on the earth, "from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing before the Throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, …crying out in a loud voice, 'Salvation to our God who sits on the throne… (Revelation 7:9,10)!"

What Christians should Obviously Learn from Muslims

There are also many things we Christians already know we can and should learn from Muslims, or be reminded of by Muslims. These are things which we already believe, though we do not practice them very well; for instance:

Faithfulness in prayer, fasting and almsgiving

The sacredness of the family and children and hospitality

The absoluteness of moral laws and of the demand to be just and charitable

The absoluteness of God and the need for absolute submission, surrender and obedience ("islam") to him

Half of you will not even read the whole thing before you post a mean comment and if you are Muslims and I am wrong feel free to tell me

Most Muslims are good Muslims, i.e.normal people who want to live in peace and security. So true. What we read in the news is about bad Muslims.

The Koran has so much of the Bible, that when I speak to a Muslim I try to use the Koran to speak the Gospel.

Using verses from the Koran it is possible to show that Jesus is the Son of God.

Also there are Muslims and there are Muslims. The crazies we see on TV slaughtering Muslims, such as this ISIS lot, are justifying their demonic acts by picking out texts from the Hadiths that contradict the Koran.

There are many different groups within Islam: Sufi, Shia, Sunni, etc, and the crazies who are Wahhabi, Salafist. The crazies are out to annihilate Sufi and Shia Muslims.

Are the Wahhabi and Salafist madmen really Muslim?

I have talked to many Muslims (including an Imam) who believe in Jesus, that he is the Messiah and will return to rule the earth.

Sadly, they do not believe that Jesus is God, that he died on the cross for our sins, (Judas somehow took his place) or that Jesus paid the price for our sins. (the Atonement!)

It is good to share the gospel with Muslims, and I do believe most are peace loving. However, it is vital to remain award of the great theological differences, which I could go on for pages about here.

If Jesus is not God, does not save us from our sins, it makes the entire Bible untrue, since the Bible is the revelation of Jesus Christ. These beliefs are clearly laid out in the Qur'an, which is a false book, with numerous historical inaccuracies, and certainly theological heresies.

We even have ISIS cells in Canada according to the latest report by the RCMP. They are mostly made up of young, disaffected men. And the Wahabi's? That is just another sad story! They have the money, so they influence the young, disaffected, and start the wars by funding terrorists.

Yes it is true that the Koran says that Jesus is not the son of God, but it does say in many places that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary.

To get around this contradiction the Imams teach that the Holy Spirit is something else, like the archangel Gabriel. I won't go into this, but this brings up a whole bunch of other contradictions.

Imams and Muslims in general are afraid of critical thinking.

If we are to convert an atheist, we first need to create doubt in atheism. Then the atheist is an agnostic. Only when he or she is an agnostic can the Bible be brought up.

Likewise, until the Muslim starts doubting the Koran, they are blinded by lies. The Koran has enough scripture in it to be used for explaining the Gospel. Then the contradictions can be mentioned and going back to the passages in the Koran that are from the Bible, the Muslim's blindness can be lifted.

The Koran is full of misinformation, gnostic texts and scripture twisting, but there is still much thatis pure Bible scripture.

Use the good parts and untwist the "scripture twisting" and a Muslim may come closer to understanding Christ.

But...we love muslims. We love their stubbornness, their idolatrous respect for the letter (who kills) in the detriment of the spirit (who gives life). You don't believe me? Just take a look at the majority of the threads in Bible forum. What do you notice? A preponderance of subjects about law, O.T., sabbath etc. You see? Christians share the same spirit with the muslims. It's time for you to meet the muslim christians.

Yes that is a stong possibility. THe Jews will also see him as the Messiah. This would come about if the anti-christ brokers a deal which would see Jerusalem become capital of a Palestinian state which would happen if the Jews were given permission to build their temple.

[h=1]John 3:18King James Version (KJV)[/h][SUP]18 [/SUP]He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

[SUP]9 [/SUP]Not of works, lest any man should boast.

[h=1]James 4:4King James Version (KJV)[/h][SUP]4 [/SUP]Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________

This being said, only the Holy Blood of Christ Jesus can wash a person of their sins. These people do not accept the truth that Jesus is the Son of God. In so doing, they have dishonored him and also have dishonored The Father. They have no atonement for their sin and so their sin still remains on them. So many falsehoods in this world. The Truth is the truth and Christ Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

Anyone who does not accept Jesus to be The Son of GOD, has denied him and is lost in their sins.

It is very dangerous for a Christian to treat peoples of other faiths as second-class creations of God, otherwise pride may start to foster. Subtle dangers and what-not.

And happy Ramazan to my Cypriot friends :) There is a Monastery Apostolos Andreas in Cyprus where Muslems join the Christians sometimes to pray, as they have seen miracles there :) It is built on the site that Apostle Andrew landed in Cyprus. The turkish army and right wing, wanted it to fall down, but as 'concession' ( that means we'll loose more than we get) they are re-building it for the Cypriots :)

Hi,

Muslims await a 12th Imam, but they also await the return of Jesus, just as Christians do. Only thing is that many Christians and all Muslims have been misled to believe that Jesus will rule this present earth at the return.

They only believe as they do, because that was what they were born into and what they have been taught most of their life. They are also loved by God. Jesus is visiting them in dreams and visions, and I tell you... if WE loved them as Jesus loves them, and we were doing God's will.. we would also be visiting them...
