Maybe on the surface, but at the heart? There is no blessing you get on Saturday that those who go on Sundays do not receive.

And you seek rest and the Sabbath, but refuse to believe that it has nothing to do with a created day.
So you think you may know my heart enough to question my actual words that have been consistently spoken for a over a year, oh ye who have been here 47 days?

No it is not. If you knew the scriptures you would know preparing food is just fine. If you knew the grace of Yeshua, you would know it is always God's will for all to do good on the Sabbath or any day of the week. The Sabbath is to be set aside, that is holy, to commemorate when our Father rested from His work of creation. This seems to be too much for many to understand, but some heart and meditation will cure that.

Sorry, I should rephrase my question, according to you, is that sin? Like, would you feel convicted if you went out and bought bread?

Oh no, here it comes again;)..........

Have an absolutely awesome Sabbath guys and gals. I hope this past week was great and helped draw you closer to our Savior. And I pray that that joy and intimacy spills out into your ministry to God and His people today!

Peace,
Matt
Hebrews 3:13

(p.s. I would ask that the Sabbath-bashers refrain from using this as yet another opportunity to criticize and judge those of us who do keep the Sabbath, but I doubt it would be effective. After all, haters are gonna hate.:p)

It's another Sabbath day to celebrate and be thankful for all that God has done and continues to do. We express our gratitude and love through our obedience to His ways.

Revelation 12:17 The dragon was very angry with the woman. He went off to fight with the rest of her children. They are the ones who obey the Laws of God and are faithful to the teachings of Jesus.

I believe that honoring the seventh day Sabbath in the last days will soon be like wearing an American flag in Iraq.

Celebrate the Sabbath wherever you live...

Leviticus 23:3 You may work for six days. But the seventh day is a day of worship, a day when you don’t work, a holy assembly. Don’t do any work. It is the Lord’s day of worship wherever you live.

This how it has always been. Happy Sabbath wherever you live. You do have a seventh day where you live, don't you?

Happy Sabbath brothers and sisters! "Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus.'"

NT saints were not compelled to keep Sabbath nor circumcision. But they, did see the need to come together and worship God in a corporate setting at least one day week and it was probably more than that.

Bit, hey if you want to uphold a day and as long as you do it unto the Lord and not for feel good stuff. Then Happy Sabbath, and if you realize that our faith must be placed in the Cross and not what day we keep.

Hey, it is Friday night, Brain frog ( going eighties) to the grotty max. I meant ever have one of those dreams, where you woke up and took a shower and went to work and the day was going great and then the alarm clock went of and it took a minute to realize that you were late for work. Man I hate that.

May you all rejoice in this set-apart and special day, and may you all find rest. May God give you all greater opportunities to serve Him and serve His people, and may you do it joyfully!

Have a blessed day!

Matt

24 whole hours personally with Jesus the word of God and singing and psalms

"Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things out of your Torah (All that your prophets have spoken)

it doesnt get any better than this.

Sun going down now...
king arriving
wife playing harp already..
house clean
all bathed
clothes ready
eager to meet with my friend.

NT saints were not compelled to keep Sabbath? I guess Jesus forgot to tell His followers before He died.

Luke 23:56 Then they returned and prepared spices and perfumes. And on the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.

Someone better tell these guys too.

Acts 13:44 The next Sabbath nearly the whole city assembled to hear the word of the Lord.

And Paul?

Acts 18:4 Every Sabbath day Paul talked with the Jews and Gentiles in the synagogue, trying to persuade them to believe in Jesus.

Acts 18:11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

Paul gathered every Sabbath for a year and a half before leaving for his next journey. That alone is 84 Sabbaths. Someone better tell him too.

The NT church was a Sabbath keeping people.

Scuba,

Let's keep this thread debate free. There are plenty of other threads for that purpose. This is supposed to be a time of blessing and encouragement.

Shalom,
Matt
