Jesus is so perfect in His behaviour and miracles... Praise the Lord!

"But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. {Children: or, Sirs}
And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes."

John 21:4-6

Even after being crucified, Jesus continued being good (after ressurrection), that's amazing Grace, and it makes me love Him and listen to the Word of God each day more and more.

"Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.
Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
Jesus saith unto them, Come {and} dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord."

John 21:10-12

Praise the Lord!

1 John 4:16 - And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

Chocolate is the most important of the five major food groups.

Anyone who can't agree on that should be prayed for.

Amen and like John was amazed by the love of God directed at us in the fact that we should be called the sons of God.........

The problem you have in discussing the scriptures is that if anybody does not agree with your interpretation of the scriptures you refuse to discuss. I thought we were all on this forum to discuss scripture. The only assumption that I have is that you do not know how to answer the scriptures that I present to you, that's sad!

We should agree that God loves us unconditionally no matter what and wants the best for us :)
And we can all agree that the Lake of Fire is the second death, and is a place of eternal torment for sinners who are not saved.

If the word "world" in John 3:16 means cosmos, instead of "believers only" you are going to have to explain Rom 9:11 to me. And John 6:39. And 1 Cor 2:14.
God is love. Not saying love is God, but God loves people even when they are His enemies and that's why He gave Himself to die in our place..."while we were yet enemies, Christ died for us". God loved us long before we believed.

He also loves us more than it is humanly possible to love. "Greater love than this hath no man, that a man would lay down his life for his friends; but while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" God's love surpasses all human loves, including parental love, in that He loves His enemies even when they nailed His Son to the cross.

(pardon me for any slight misquotes, going by memory without looking up the verse, but the verses referred to are easy to find.)

Can you say whatever?....I will not discuss the word with someone who rejects the words in any given text....your problem is you refuse to acknowledge the words in John 3:16 which contradicts your view.....whatever dude!

Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Amen to this and he will rule with a rod of iron as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah!

arguing with a Calvinist is like arguing with a brick wall..Spurgeon was the only Calvinist I ever heard of who was aggreeable with Scripture, he wasn't like the majority of Calvinists today who only want to ride that hobby horse of feeling no responsibility toward lost people to try to get them saved, no need to support missionaries, no need to pass out tracts, no need to witness to the lost, no need to stand up publicly agaisnt sin when confronted by it.....the ones who are on their way to Hell, well, they can just go says the Calvinist, the ones that will be saved, God knows, and I don't have to be concerned about it. Calvinism is a self-centered version of being saved.....they may actually be saved, but they have gone off the deep end on "the elect"
