Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called faithful and true, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The word of God.
Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of almighty God.
Rev 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

god dont need help or suggestion from angels
so in our god jesus and holy spirit of god are there
if you read the old hebrew torah genesis 1:1 it will be like this in the begining aleph and tav god created the heavens and earth(i translated it in to english) where aleph and tav are the first and last letters of hebrew so the translaters think it has no meaning and left it but aleph and tav in greek is alpha and omega first and the last but you will not found aleph and tav in hebrew bible or present day torah(new hebrew ) , alpha and omega was jesus in creation through him all came into excistance

Ok Stone me if you like.... Did God need MOSES for rebuking God so God can REPENT?

To the OP.... God was talking to Jesus.... As God and Jesus has ONE SPIRIT, they ARE ONE... so the Holy Spirit in ALL HIS GLORY makes the Father and Son ONE IMAGE, ONE GOD and ONE PERSON. God is ONE! ALL God made was a man as holy as a man can be and in the Image and likeness of God... AS HOLY AS GOD, but NOT AS GLORIOUS as God. Not even ALL the World can contain God's Glory. But the whole world can be HOLY! Even as holy as GOD, but never as glorious... So Adam was made in the holiness of gOd and as glorious as a man can be... AS GODLY as a man can be.

Jesus as well. Jesus as God is way more glorious that He was as MAN. but Jesus as God is as HOLY AS JESUS AS MAN. If people can understand that, they will know what God makes us INTO when HE GIVES US BORN OF GOD....

hi cobus remember the mighty had allready fallen, remember too when king David said oh have the mighty fallen, its so heart breaking as many good men have fallen too, its no joke and not to be taken trivial that gods annointed can fall. In the beginning god said let us make man on our image , Its my theory he said That when he Made the angels to, and so i see god talking to his angels like you and me are also gods family..

The 'our' refers to God, that's what I read in Genesis 1:26, and that's how simple it is...

The titel of this thread has not a lot to do with its topic, btw.

The words "if He said them at all" usually indicate you don't believe that they were said, but maybe my brain isn't fully alert yet.

God himself is the blueprint for humanity. This follows a creation principal. Every living thing was charged to bear fruit “after its own kind.” In man, God has produced after his own kind. God created man as an extension of himself, a creature that was like him, created in His image. The OP has asked what is there about man that bears the likeness of his Creator. Like his Maker, man possesses the same intrinsic qualities that define the nature and character of God, yet limited in degree. Man was created as a holy and righteous being. He was created as an eternal being endowed with wisdom. He was created with the capacity to love, to dispense mercy, kindness, goodness, compassion, and justice. Man was given transcendence – he was placed over all God’s creation to ruler over it. This is what defines man as one created in the image and likeness of God. As such, man is the closest thing to God that exists in creation.

The nature of anything or anyone must be understood as bi-cameral. Anything that is bi-cameral is two chambered. I have selected this term because I believe it most aptly describes how scripture portrays the essence and character of God. (Compare with the diagram in chapter four).

1. The essence is what I regard as signature traits. These traits qualify God as God.
Intrinsically, the essence of God is:
* Spirit
* Ever-present
* Immortal

* Holy
* Eternal
* Self-existing

* All-powerful
* Invisible
* Self-sustaining

* All-knowing
* Unified
* Transcendent

2. The character of God is what I would regard as attributes that define His moral
integrity.
The character of God is:
* Holy
* Good
* Faithful
* Patient

* Righteous
* Honest
* Loving

* Just
* Fair
* Forgiving

* Pure
* Consistent
* Merciful

These are some of the qualities we find ascribed to the Word of God
in the
scriptures. Every attribute of essence and character that scripture assigns to God are assigned also to Jesus.

This is not how the word εἰκὼν is used in scripture. The word is employed to speak of something that stands as a representational form of something else. All of these attributes and characteristics that scripture attributes to God, it also attributes to man. These characterized man in the beginning as a representational form of God.

Jesus is speaking as the bible teaches the following truths...

1. Jesus was speaking as the bible teaches (ALL) things were created by him and for him. (Colossians 1:16)
2. Jesus is before all things and by Him all things (stands together) consists (Colossians 1:17)
3. The Heavenly Father (God) created all things (BY) Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:9)
4. The Lord (JESUS) has created all things, for thy pleasure (JESUS) they are and were created (Revelation 4:11)
5. The Lord is also the creator of Jacob (Israel) (Isaiah 43:1)

God the Father is the power and the giver of the right to bring creation into existence, Jesus is the medium by which creation was brought into creation. The Holy Spirit had it's part as well, as the Spirit of God (hovered) on the face of the waters (Genesis 1:2-3) Jesus is the sustainer of creation as well as the judge of creation (The Father judgeth no man, but has committed all judgment unto the Son). Jesus was the one speaking when He (By right of the Father) said, Let us...
