Jesus is speaking as the bible teaches the following truths...

1. Jesus was speaking as the bible teaches (ALL) things were created by him and for him. (Colossians 1:16)
2. Jesus is before all things and by Him all things (stands together) consists (Colossians 1:17)
3. The Heavenly Father (God) created all things (BY) Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:9)
4. The Lord (JESUS) has created all things, for thy pleasure (JESUS) they are and were created (Revelation 4:11)
5. The Lord is also the creator of Jacob (Israel) (Isaiah 43:1)

God the Father is the power and the giver of the right to bring creation into existence, Jesus is the medium by which creation was brought into creation. The Holy Spirit had it's part as well, as the Spirit of God (hovered) on the face of the waters (Genesis 1:2-3) Jesus is the sustainer of creation as well as the judge of creation (The Father judgeth no man, but has committed all judgment unto the Son). Jesus was the one speaking when He (By right of the Father) said, Let us...
...........man, if you had JUST MANAGED to work into all of this ------God the Father / God the Son / God the Holy Spirit, I would have had no other choice than to "like" your comment............sigh...........so close, so very close............ :)

When God said lets make man in "our" image, who is "our".

Is He talking about Him and Jesus?
Him Jesus and all the angels?

Anybody know?
Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Matthew 4:11
Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

Matthew 28:2
There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.

John 6:42
They said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, ‘I came down from heaven’?”

I believe its Him, and the angels. I know a lot of people want to think they were created in God's image actually : but the only one created in God's image was Christ. It's kinda sound, to me anyway, now that i have thought about this some time, like a egotistical thing, to think im in the image of God, or full of myself.

Because I sin, I fall short, but Christ, if anyone is ever in the image of God, it was Him.

Yes, God did create us, but, as far as the image is conconcered there in Genesis. I believe we are in the image of the Angels. There is some Hebrew used there that has the word Elohim m its plural for, the angles standing there with Him.
I would keep in mind, that everything is created in verse one, , the only people being created in Genesis are people in flesh bodies.

I know some think this is spiritual saying, its the Godhead. I think its just how it sound in English , that's leading people to think that.

These scriptures is speaking of God, and the angels.

And Christ, was alone in the image of God.
