Hello 3232,

The Bible does not talk about aliens--not one word. For people to say things like "there is no life anywhere in the physical universe except on the earth" is kind of like saying that the sun revolves around the earth (which scientists did believe for hundreds of years). Some people think that we are the center of the universe, but that just isn't true. We know that God is a life, and he is not living on the earth at this time...

Anyway, back to the aliens. There really is no way to know for sure if God did or did not create other life somewhere in the humangous universe. We can be cautious, however, of buying into an idea that sounds 'exciting' or 'exotic' (believing in aliens, for example) which takes our focus off of God. If there are aliens out there somewhere (and personally I don't THINK there are, but I wouldn't stake my salvation on it) we can be sure that they were created by God and the only way to find out more about His creation is to seek Him.

Make sense?
Be blessed

By life, I assume you mean sentient life. This is the theological problem: How would the fall of man effect sentient beings, destined to live forever with God? They would suffer the effects of sin, a world torn away from eternity, without sin. they would live in an agony that Lot only dimly understood.

i've never thought impossible for other life to exist out there... infact... i think it's quite selfish to think we're the only intelligent life in the universe... ya know? i mean... we live in a limitless universe that is ever expanding but... earth is the only planet with life on it? the milky way is the only galaxy with life in it? how does that work?

i've toyed with the idea of God being what we would call alien... but there are other possibilites... fallen angels... non-fallen angels that were just sent to live on another planet... or maybe God created other intelligent life, just not in His image like we are... there for the sake of being there... like plants... only... smart plants... that don't look like plants...

Some say they go back to the line of Seth in Gen. There are pictures on walls from thousands of years ago of space ships.

My own personal belief on this is that alien sitings are really sitings of demons. I've talked to Christians who have seen into the spiritual world and described entities that look like giants, dwarfs, pans, etc. Demons can take on forms and in these mythological forms fool people. Why do so many people from Ireland believe in Leprechauns? Why did the Greeks believe in the creatures they did, such as a pan? Creatures in fairy tales? Sure, people could have dreamed these creatures up in their imagination solely. OR, maybe somebody saw something. Ghost sitings are a good example. I believe a person's spirit goes on either to Heaven or Hell at death. Yet, people have seen ghosts. What are they really? In my opinion, demons. So what purpose would these demons have to take on the guises of ghosts and other creatures? To get man to believe in them and place focus on them over focus on God.

So my opinion of aliens? I think they are demons, too. I think probably there are people out there that really believe they have had encounters with aliens. But I think they are demons with the purpose of deceiving mankind.

I've always wondered what people will think when the rapture occurs. Will they see it as a massive alien abduction? If so, what a deception on the part of Satan. Something to think about.

Yep its demons. Your right all trying to take the focus off of God. Also the demons trying to produce more life forms from trying to get samples from humans. As if they could run off and replant somewhere when Jesus comes to destroy them. Not! Like the humans trying to make homes in outerspace thinking they are going to run away and be safe when Jesus comes. NOT!

Well I think that Aliens are real. I think they are real and you are at a chance to see an Alien if you are not a Christian. Now you are probably wondering what I mean. A while back I had a discussion with a pastor of one of the local churches. We were talking about ghost and things of that nature and if they could be real. He told me that Satan's Army is huge and they can be cast in those forms. I do believe there are aliens, but they are apart of Satan's Army. If you are a Christian you are protected by God, so the ghost and those things won't get to you!

I hope this helps!.

First, let's understand the MEANING of the word 'alien': Websters defines 'alien' as"other, foreign, not natural; strange, of aliens, foreigner, a foreign-born resident who is not naturalized, a hypothetical being from outer space."
The KJV uses the term 'alien' 5 times and it is always in the meaning of "foreign, foreighner, a foreign-born resident who is not naturalized".
The NASB uses the same term with the same meaning 46 times.

Although the word 'alien' is not used in the book of Revelation, it COULD be understood that the creatures of terror that come destroying portions of man, but the word used is 'angel'.

If you understand that the word 'alien' means, basically, "outsider", then the term could be applied to demons because demons come from the kingdom of darkness and try to get INto us. They are outsiders, foreigners that attempt to set up 'stakes' on the property of our bodies and minds. The have the ability to get IN to our bodies and manifest sickness and dis-ease; they can get into our minds and cause mental illness and all sorts of emotional disorders. They are alien because it is not God's will that they do that, but He will not violate our will and so allows them access when we sin or if we have generational curses in place in our lives.
Ironically, Hollywood has pretty good take on the demonic-ness of 'aliens'. They are always grotesque, usually larger than humans, and have supernatural (demonic) strength.
Per an Advanced Deliverance course I took, our government has the ability and technology to do everything you see in the moives...Everything. These technologies are in reserve for the End Times. The Gov. thinks they will use it to control the masses and kill them if they don't comply. But GOD has other plans for these things. They will be used of His good purposes which is to bring the masses into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Hi,
Aliens or not it is not important. God through Jesus Christ made all creation. The aliens if they exist are not more powerful than Jesus and would be subject to His will.

Ok, think of what the word Alien means, in Isiah 61:5 & Hebrews (um I just forgot where) it talks about aliens and it's not anything/anyone I would like to meet. to be an alien is to be separated from, not apart of and sounds evil to me. Yes, I beieve there could be Aliens-but think about this- 1/3 of the angels were cast out of heaven. Doesn't that mean separated from/not apart of? My human nature believes there can be aliens but my spirit man inside leads me to believe they are of EVIL composition.
Like Lucifer (the fallen angel) who was alienated from Heaven by God.............

A recommendation for those at SETI (search for extraterrestrial intelligence).

Instead of spending millions of dollars of taxpayer's money searching for intelligence out there in the universe, perhaps the money would be better spent searching for intelligence in Washington D.C.

If Jesus was the only Son of God sent to Earth to die only once for our sins never to die again, then any other intelligent life from other worlds would have no savior and is going to Hell, or back to the dust with the animals.

Hmm -- never thought of it in that way -- good point
