Yes, thats why everyone can open the bible and read it... so still no idea why is it good to write them to forum thread, all 613 grouped by some Jewish guy...
If that's the case, you should be against anyone who posts any Scripture (especially from the first 5 books of the Bible,) because they "can just open the Bible and read it... so still no idea why it is good to write them to forum thread."

Wowsa..............a bit racist there are we?

Maybe people could "search" the Archives here on CC and find the Thread where I listed all 613 Laws from the Old Testament, and showed (in my opinion/with Scriptural support) which had carried over to the New Covenant Grace.

It was a lengthy and difficult undertaking, but well worth it in my opinion.

Oh, I should add, my heritage is German, Irish, Jewish, Native American, African American...........so I might be as easily dismissed as "some Jewish guy" I suspect.

:)

According to Jewish tradition to become a righteous Gentile and enter the kingdom one has to follow the Law of Noah
which is -

Do not deny God
Do not blaspheme God
Do not murder
Do not engage in illicit sexual relations
Do not steal
Do not eat a live animal
Do not eat blood
Establish Courts and a Legal System to ensure obedience to the laws.
there are many laws placed by man, as for me and my house we will serve Yahweh.

It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1

oh oh

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
Romans 8:2

so, there is a law applied to us

the law of the SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS

Who has set us free from the law of sin and of death

now, if someone wishes to follow 613 laws written for a people come out of slavery in Egypt, then they shall be judged by the same

however, are you a believer? are you saved? do you know Jesus Christ?

then rejoice, because you are no longer under those laws

you are now free from the law of sin and of death, having been set free by your faith in Christ and you have died to yourself and are now risen with Christ

far above all principalities and powers

if a person chooses to place themself under condemnation, shall Christ die again?

no! not at all! for what He accomplished He did but once and in completion

believe and be set free from every thing that hinders you!

Jesus said 'Let the dead bury the dead' Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the LIFE

VOWS

92 Numbers 6:5 - The Nazirite letting his hair grow during his separation.
All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the Lord, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.

93 Numbers 6:18 – Nazirite completing vow shaves his head and brings sacrifice.
And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings.

94 Deuteronomy 23:21 - On that a man must honor his oral vows and oaths.
When thou shalt vow a vow unto the Lord thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the Lord thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.

95 Numbers 30:8 - On that a judge can annul vows, only according to Torah.
But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the Lord shall forgive her.

We, as Christians, should listen to Christian teachers, not the Jewish ones. If you see it as racist, you may have some problem with truth and reality.

If that's the case, you should be against anyone who posts any Scripture (especially from the first 5 books of the Bible,) because they "can just open the Bible and read it... so still no idea why it is good to write them to forum thread."
Posting during a discussion is something different from just rewriting Bible to propagate the old Law, imho.

The next group of commands, these ones relating to the Law itself. Again, for the purposes of seeing what the Law and its commands really say.

Torah/Law/Pentateuch

10 Deuteronomy 6:7 - On reciting the Sh'ma each morning and evening.
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

11 Deuteronomy 6:7 - On studying and teaching Torah.
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

12 Deuteronomy 6:8 - On binding Tefillin on the head.
And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

13 Deuteronomy 6:8 - On binding Tefillin on the hand.
And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

14 Numbers 15:38 - On making Tzitzit with thread of blue, garments corners.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:

15 Deuteronomy 6:9 - On affixing a Mezuzah to doorposts and gates.
And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

16 Deuteronomy 31:12 - On Assembling each 7th year to hear the Torah read.
Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the Lord your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:

17 Deuteronomy 17:18 - On that a king must write a copy of Torah for himself.
And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:

18 Deuteronomy 31:19 - On that everyone should have a Torah scroll.
Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.

19 Deuteronomy 8:10 - On praising God after eating, Grace after meals.
When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the Lord thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.
(I’m not sure why this command is included here, but that’s how Rambam grouped it.)
Wow. Now that I see it. Jesus is on Every page of the Bible. He killed the Strenght of SIN wich is the Law (1 Kor 15).
Jesus Christ, the God and Man Fulfilled and killed the Strenght of SIN. Wich is the Royal Law. He Killed it. Isnt that great. He killed it. He has slaughterd the Law with himself all by himself for our wicked selves. Its so beautiful. The greatest killing of all time wich triumph is ringing in the ears of satan making him roaring louder each and every day. He must be furious by now, knowing his time is short.

I know there are a huge number of Sermons on the topic of the hidden treasures about Yeshua in this Law. Looking forward to commentaries revealing Jesus name inside the letters of the Law. I Guess the Jews have some amazing tools digging it out and finally they will look upon him whom they have pierced (Zechariah) and shout for Joy as they are being grafted back in again with all the saints.

From 10 commandments to 613 laws which really isn't bad considering this...

In the u.s.a. there are over 4000 federal laws that are mandated to sell a head of cabbage. Yes sir not making this up.
Why you may ask ....4000 plus....because it is in man's nature to find some grey area in a law so that he can profit one way or another. So he can justify him self when found guilty.
Adam clearly demonstrate this in genesis when he said it was the woman you sent me.

Read my very 1st post. I'm not propagating anything in this thread. Just simply stating what the Law says.

I think we should pay MORE attention to what GOD says !
Although there were many laws given in the OT, not all made it through into the NT ! and that is what we need to consider. There is not much point in labouring over some laws that no longer apply and 'diligently posted for us.
The only law we are concerned with today are the 10 Commandments actually given by GOD personally to the people.
Please CAREFULLY read Ex 20v1 where it says : And GOD spake all these words....
Deut 5v22 after repeating the 10 Commands Moses said: These words the Lord spoke unto all your assembly on the mount....and added no more !!!
Here we have Moses telling all the people that GOD gave them the 10 Commandments (personally) and added no more. These 10 are GOD-given, eternal, spiritual, holy, just and good. Moses only REPEATED them thereafter when the people refused to hear God anymore Ex 20 v19 , they did not originate with him, GOD had already given them.
Likewise GOD did not give the laws that pertained to works/ordinances personally, but through Moses, and these laws contained only in ordinances were abolished in Christ Eph2v15.
The 10 given by GOD are a separate law - NOT included in the works law/613.

However, we do keep the Commandments now according to the Spirit and not after the strictness of the letter....LOVE being the motivation, not fear and death.
