What is amazing to me is that people will tell you THIS IS NOT RELEVANT ANYMORE but if we read the law we can actually use it in our everyday live.

The ones people will keep on debating are the Sabbaths and the feast days of ABBA Father.

These commands alone show that God's law is perfectly in line with Jesus' commandments. Yes, the Spirit tells us to love and shows us how. And the majority of the time, the Spirit is telling us to do these things. Then these are worth studying in my opinion.

I've actually had people tell me that you can't do any of the commands in the Law because if you do, you're negating the work of Jesus.

For example, if I pay my employee their wage on the time it's scheduled (because I saw that instruction in Deuteronomy 24:15,) I'm negating Jesus' work. Therefore, I can't obey Deuteronomy 24:15.

Is there fear from some on the laws of God?
I think it is helpfull to see them all in context.
While there are many who are scared of touching obedience to the law, Willie was merely commenting on my type-o here.

10 For whoever keeps the whole [k]law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all. 11 For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not commit murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but do commit murder, you have become a transgressor of the [l]law.

so, honest question here... because I'm not sure of the answer...

is there something in the scriptures that gives people who want to keep the law a waiver for the laws they can't possibly keep (like show your moldy clothes to an Aaronic priest)?

I don't think there's one that covers the whole, although I do know of at least one that gives an Israelite a pass on bringing a tithe the originally prescribed way.

Deuteronomy 14:24-26
"But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the Lord your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the Lord will choose to put his Name is so far away),
25 then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the Lord your God will choose.26 Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice."

Right, I agree...

so, a similar question

is there anything in the Old Testament similar to what James says about if you break one law you break them all?

right, so I'm seeing a pattern here...

in OT times, it made sense to try to keep as many laws as possible, even if other laws would be impossible.

in NT times, every person on earth is breaking all the laws all the time, since some are impossible.

does that seem to follow logically?

In the Old Testament, God wanted Israel to keep all of the laws. Maybe he even knew that it was impossible to keep them all perfectly.

I wouldn't say that in New Testament times, every person on earth is breaking all the laws all the time, since some are impossible. It is very possible to keep many of the laws today. But no one can keep all of the law perfectly, physically or spiritually. Just like no one can physically keep Jesus' Commandments perfectly, physically or spiritually. In both cases though, that is where mercy and grace. Praise God!

well, that's why I was asking about what the scriptures actually say... there is no waiver for laws that are impossible.
