Nice, now can you show any scripture to support your first statement, that a Christian cannot have a demon in them?

Sickness is a result of the curse on everyone who sins, not just the unbelievers. It is all through the bible, even on the Christians. When God said He is a respecter of no person, He meant, NO PERSONS. That includes the children of God.
Paul referred to his thorn in the flesh as a messenger of satan, in other words, a demonic spirit.

When you confess you are filled with the Holy Spirit, and an demon cannot fill the same space as God. But a demon can oppress such a person, to a point where it's pretty much the same thing as possessed. My little brother and my father, they confess, but live in such darkness and despair together with my poor mom. I confronted my brother about it once, he rose up out of his chair with this thing wrapped around him like a heavy winter coat. I subsequently confronted my father about it (being it his house he's the authority - or should be). He started defending his little sinner, my mother started defending me, and my father turned towards my mother wrapped in this same spirit and rebuked her as to make her never speak again. That's really the last close contact we've had, I maintain some contact for the sake of my mom but until the authority of the house is willing to take authority over the house, my time is better used praying in secret to my Father Who hears in secret.

This is only my opinion, but I believe demons can inhabit ANYONE.. They don't need to be a christian or even religious or spiritual in any way to get possessed by a demon. Of course, those who dabble in satanism or dark magic, etc, are more easily targeted since they are already under that influence anyway. We ALL have the power to rebuke demons in Jesus' name. I've had to rebuke him a few times myself. jmo..
