No mess until sin entered into the world.

Defilement is defilement no matter what form it takes. God is purity and holiness. Mankind was created then redeemed to worship God not play video games. Nothing can come between our hearts and our God.

For the cause of Christ
Roger

oh please

I can guarantee God is not as stuffy as you seem to want to make Him

there is nothing you can tell me regarding the holiness of God. we don't even understand how holy is holy

holy means to be separated. it's not how good we are

we are all as an unclean thing or do big words somehow negate that?

it's like people who think they have to talk in KJ english when praying.

anyway, YOU are the one who took it to brothels and unvirginating virgins. I only mentioned bacon LOL!

but you don't get any

"What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived" -- the things God has prepared for those who love him-- so you are just making up stuff to suit yourself. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. That is certainly Scriptural. I am sorry you don't like God's Word.
I guess if you see people playing certain activities in heaven with the lord then you'll realise your wrong once again. "The order of things" has nothing to do with an individuals enjoyments. But as i stated believe whatever you want. Actually i love Gods word unsure about you but thats another story.

You deny Scripture once again, which shows you do not love it at all. Your method is to reject the truth and insert some substitute and pretend that is truth, but you get caught at your game and then complain and try to make the other person wrong. The types of games you play will not be in the new heaven and earth either, of that we can be sure. Such tactics of Satan as you use will be done away with forever after, and those that perpetrate them too. Praise the Lord!

I posted a similar thread a while ago. I asked if there were video games in heaven and if there where would we even care if there was. Could you see Jesus and I chilling on a couch eating Doritos and drinking mountain dew while playing mario kart? Or does that sound like something he wouldn't do. My question is if you could see anything in heaven what would you want it to be? Oh and if you want to give me "video games are evil" do it on another thread, this is just for fun.
doesn't sound like something he would do on his own but if you were playing he would more then likely join in, Jesus is a people person... not sure if the game would be mario kart though.. probably would be the new "Alive in Christ" real reality game only available for ADONAI systems

Why would you want to play video games when you could actually be doing something real and fun? like, no offence, but would you rather bum about eating doritos, drinking mountain dew playing video games when you could ACTUALLY be doing something wild, exciting and awesome?

Magenta, don't apologise, you have nothing to apologise to him for. He's in denial, it isn't your fault. Just let him.

Video games, board games, card games are how I bond with people. It may not seem the most exciting for most people but it is for me.

Nobody knows what it will be like, except that we will have an eternity to be as one with the Lord. How we serve Him is anyone's guess. Will we be passing time? Perhaps we will step out of time. Time is part of creation. Since sin is done away with, if there were video games, the sin equation would not enter into how they are played or what they are used for. We are so used to thinking in the ways of this fallen world it is literally impossible for us to imagine what it might be like. I liken it to a caterpillar metamorphosing into a butterfly :) It will all be in God's hands! And we know He knows best, and that we can trust Him :)

The lord is aware of what you enjoy if it's something you desire to spend time with him doing im sure he'll be open to it. Yes many others enjoy those things as well

I for the most part agree but you can pretty much count anything as an idol if you spend more time on it then with the Lord. I'll admit I spend way to much time on video games. I understand that I need to cut back and spend more time with the Lord, Honestly I'm a lot better then I use to be. You wouldn't believe how many hours I've wasted on a video game. It for the most part is a waste of time. However if I'm with the Lord and we are playing a video game for fun and I'm not obsessing over it. I think it would be all right. I could be wrong though.
Personally, I don't regard spending more time in one place MORE than I spend with the Lord, as considered as idolizing it . I've spent 8 to 10 hours a day at my job, and not 8 to 10 hours a day with the Lord...do I then idolize MONEY over the Lord? I've spent hours on Facebook and here that I have not spent on the Lord. At night, in prayer do I then kneel to pray before my phone and ask the phone to hear my confession and ask forgiveness? As much as I LOVE my husband, I wouldnt say I "idolize" him like I give myself to Jesus. I think many of us spend too much time in areas we should spend LESS time in, but Thats not to say we idolize it. Maybe I just see idolizing a different way than others. I never feel far away from the Lord no matter what I'm doing. Oftentimes Jesus guides me away from what I'm doing too. Its a connection that cannot be broken. No matter what ...He is always there.
