so it's obvious you couldn't handle the truth.....look I never said I am doing what God has commanded us to do not once did I? in fact my question was are we actually Christians? not are ya actually Christians? if I didn't care and didn't had love for the world I wouldn't be here I don't like the fact that my God says if I can't put him in front of my family and my own life I'm not a Christian/disciple, that I can't serve money and God at the same time....I don't like a lot of his teachings because they are tough and hard to obey but you know what I'm not god so I'm not going to act like I didn't hear him or make my own teachings
Why do you wish to identify as Christian when you are unsure?

You must determine what you will do with the gospel before you concern yourself with teaching others.

I have absolute certainty about my salvation. I have this certainty because of the word of God and the presence of the Holy Spirit. I have received what the Holy Spirit revealed to my heart through the word of God. His Spirit now witnesses with my spirit that I am His and He is mine.

right but study what ?
If we do not believe that his word does not return void but does accomplish the purposes for which he sends it . then we will treat it with respect and obey the commandment . which is not just a good suggestion but a perfect law that can qucken our soul and give us His understanding.

it how we can hear Him not seen so that we can seek His approval and not the approval of men.

The question is will you obey it and believe what he says or treat it like any other literature?

If we seek the approval of men we make the word of God without effect. Its what the Catholic sect is built on as there foundation to walk by sight seeking after that seen rather than the unseen eternal...

2Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself "approved" unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

I can handle truth. You aren't speaking truth. You're babbling. Funny thing, you're babbling to yourself quite often, to the point of congratulating yourself on a post you already wrote.

Your audience is you.

Let me be kind and walk away so you can dialog alone all you want.

Let me know if you ever want to talk to anyone other than the all-infinite youness.

and I don't mean contradicts because it has been fulfilled but I'm referring to contradicts because people say Jesus teachings is to be leveled out with the rest of the bible....example 1 of many many you have heard that it was said by them of OLD time, thou shall not kill;and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgement BUT I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgement

God did a lot more before he died, so let us assume there is more to the gospel. Since the Book is all about him, it is all good news. :)
I’m talking about the gospel of grace that Paul received by revelation from Jesus Christ (Galatians 1:11-12; Ephesians 3:1-9); not to be confused with everything written in the four Gospel accounts (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).

What do you mean by the term ""Jesus teachings is to be leveled out with the rest of the bible "" I have never heard this leveled out expression before in relation to scriptures.. What do you mean when you say leveled out...

And what is the problem with what you wrote below::

""""you have heard that it was said by them of OLD time, thou shall not kill;and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgement BUT I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgement """" ???

The bible doesn't contradict itself it's peoples interpretation of it that makes the contradiction. If one part of the bible is not true then who is to say any of it is? The bible is like an onion or the earths crust it has many layers and even studying it for 40 years you might only be able to see and understand the first three layers of it. The word of God is a vast mystery with hidden treasures in it's pages that most have yet to find and it's also impossible to fully understand just as God's ways are impossible for us to fully understand. We cannot pick and choose what the bible is, God has deigned it to be his living breathing word and Jesus never contradicts what father has spoken, true the ot and nt are very different but that was also because they were under a different covenant.

I've just been reminded that I'm falling for a want-to-argue troll, (thanks, Jamie :)), so it seems to me I caught his infection for a moment. Sorry 'bout that. I've gotten the roach bomb out and have since left the room. Might be a good idea to let him argue with himself. lol

Well I'm glad you're here, don't think you're trolling at all, and am kind of confused honestly. Is there history here I don't know about? It just seems the attack is a little unwarranted honestly, I don't see how he is a troll just asking honest questions, I haven't taken anything he has said as anything but sincere. What did he say that exposed his "trollyness"? Because I missed it.
