Will pride, greed, and a deceitful mouth keep you out of heaven?

Will doing exactly the opposite of what the scriptures say, cause one to forfeit eternal life?

Salvation could be forfeited if it was based on our actions in any way.

Thank God it isn't.

Our salvation is based on the finished work of Christ. We can never be condemned, never be cast out, never be lost.

Our shepherd is faithful. He will never lose even one sheep. He always keeps His word.

If I give you 100 blups, then sometime later someone offers you $1000, and you discard the blups because you need room in your wallet for the $$ and you think the blups aren't really worth that much, have you forfeited the gift? Yep.

Only problem is, many of the goats (hypocrites) think they are sheep. :)

What are "blups"?

A stupid word to represent the riches of the kingdom of GOD. It sounds pretty worthless, but one blup is worth all of the gold in the world (in the wildness of my imagination).

Except, there are no "blups" of greater value then the free gift of salvation freely given to us in Christ Jesus.

Like people who believe they have to keep the Law to be saved?
The law wasn't made for the righteous, but for the lawless and sinners. :)

1 Timothy 1:8 "But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;[SUP]9 [/SUP]Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
[SUP]10 [/SUP]For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;"

Good question.

But I have [this] against you: that you have left your first love. Revelation 2:4

But I have a few [things] against you: that you have there those who hold fast to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, to eat food sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality. Revelation 2:14

But I have against you that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, the one who calls herself a prophetess, and teaches and deceives my slaves to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. Revelation 2:20

It was a rhetorical question. The answer as well as its application should be obvious.

Are you a sinner?

I'm gonna keep asking you this until you give me a straight answer.

You guys know me. Come on now.
There is a great evil, in the land. The deeds of the Nicolaitans Jesus hates but the Christians love!

Matt.23:9 and12 Call no man father((religious honorific title). And WHOEVER EXALTS HIMSELF shall be humbled...ARROGANCE.
1Tim3:2-3 A shepherd must be blameless....not greedy of filthy lucre...not covetous. The main goal of most churches, so called, is to pack the pews. Quantity matters, quality be hanged. The more sheep, the more tithes. How many you got running in Sunday school lately? Check the bulletin board.

2Peter 2:1 and 3 ...there shall be false teachers among you ....through greed with lies will rob you..their DAMNATION tarries not...AVARICE. DECEIT. 'Defile not the temple' GR. Mislead not God's people.

What person in an average church building has a title and is exalted above the rest? Antichrist can mean against Christ and to TAKE THE PLACE OF Christ.
Many will come saying 'I am Christ'. This does not mean they are claiming to be Jesus the Messiah. Only a hand full are doing that through out the planet at any given time. Think: popes, etc..They can't fool the saints. But these deceivers that have positioned themselves in a lofty place are fooling the saints....but not the very elect.

Christ means 'anointed one'. There will be many antichrists. Those claiming to have the anointing. 'Denying the One who bought them' means renouncing His truths, twisting the word for fun and profit. Not openly saying they reject Jesus. 'Anointed one' also means 'special one'.
Who is the 'special one' in your church building? We are told we are all special in God's eyes but who is more special than everybody else? The one everyone looks to and adores and follows and pays handsomely? The one who has exalted himself above the rest with a special title of esteem? Your congregations mediator, the 'man of God', the specially called to reign and rule? The infallible one where no error proceeds from the Grecian pulpit of 'delegated authority'? (That's not in your bible either).
There will be many antichrists from day one starting with Diotrephes in 3John who loved the center stage, the exalted preeminence.

I don't know. Have these exalted ones, who are doing everything totally contrary to the commands of scripture, forfeited eternal life? Scary thought.

Instead of serving, being served. Not a servant but a king!

Instead of working, Acts 20, and giving to the poor folks financial help, they demand ten percent from them, taking, taking and taking. Never satisfied. See: horse leach. 'Give, give, give'. Proverbs 30:15.

Instead of feeding the sheep the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth of God's word, they lie and wrest the scriptures for sordid gain, clothing themselves with the wool and sumptuously dieting on fried mutton.
Only the truth can set the captives free and now we know why most of the ecclesia are in bondage financially and health wise. A million prayers for a life time and nothing really changes for most, except for contractors and business men Christians, so called, that prey upon the ignorant.....I kid you not.
Sitting under the traditions(lies) of men, under invented laws by men that causes you to 'fall from grace'. See:Galatians.

The question remains. God will deliver His sheep, the ones that want deliverance, from the mouths of the wolves. What remains is what is the destination of untepentant wolves? I shudder to contemplate!

Mark 1:15 (NASB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP]and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."

Mark 1:15 (YLT)
[SUP]15 [/SUP]and saying-- `Fulfilled hath been the time, and the reign of God hath come nigh, reform ye, and believe in the good news.'

The last time I read it, repent still requires some effort.....
