I do think you need to go back and read the Bible. But not just the passages on homosexuality, but all of it!

Because everyone should be reading the Bible to grow in their faith.
I agree. My wife and I had our daily bible devotions a little while ago.

A sin is a sin but we are nobody to judge others for we to have committed sins. People follow Christ and other another road.

Happy happy happy.. use to be the definition of what gay meant.. "who" changed that I ask myself.. better question.. how will "I decide" to use it and for what use of it is a more satisfying taste as a first fruit of how I use it upon Gods lips.

When anyone points fingers at someones sin then they themselves are sinning. This is a form of gossip. This is making the accuser seem more just, than the accused. When in fact we are all sinners. I did not know that God judges one sin greater than another.
Well, actually only a few sins in the bible are called "abomination."
Homosexuality is one of them.

Well, actually only a few sins in the bible are called "abomination."
Homosexuality is one of them.
In a nutshell:

I had a friend whose father was a well known preacher in USA...

One day they came and brought two of his brothers... Beforehand, he told me the SORROW he had for having a sodomite as brother...

One day one of his brothers asked me to be his tourist guide and I said ok... I took him to the most elegant places I knew (that were cheaper, those days)

While talking and talking, the moment he asked to go to certain place, I had no idea on he who was, except the moment he asked me if I was LIKE HIM... What?

I thought the blond one I had left behind, with his siblings, it was the BLACK sheep I needed to ignore...

So, according to that "definition" of abomination I knew a PASTOR and his wife (and my friend) who HAD an abomination as brother, and as blood brother...

Look!

Is homosexuality worst than cheating on spouses?

Is that sexual sin worst than killing, lying, etc.?

I myself, being that good pastor reading what ppl think of HIS SON would have felt hurt (yet I´m offended for that bashing on THEM).

As I see myself, the Inquisition has started... Without remembering I´m also a sinner.

Have a look on these, you who love Paul´s:

Rom 2:1 Some of you accuse others of doing wrong. But there is no excuse for what you do. When you judge others, you condemn yourselves, because you are guilty of doing the very same things.

Rom 2:3 Do you really think God won't punish you, when you behave exactly like the people you accuse?

Rom 2:4 You surely don't think much of God's wonderful goodness or of his patience and willingness to put up with you. Don't you know that the reason God is good to you is because he wants you to turn to him?

Let´s turn them to JESUS!

Same way HE TREATED the Samaritan woman who had 5 men outside marriage.

Let´s help understand those words He told the woman caught in ADULTERY: "Do not sin more!"

Joh 8:11 "No sir," the woman answered. Then Jesus told her, "I am not going to accuse you either. You may go now, but don't sin anymore."

Last year, when my ex GF has cut me the hair, she insisted in a session of pictures... After several pictures she took, I got bored and, to discourage her, I did a pose as this:

Kidding May14.jpg

Although I was kidding that moment, I´m ashamed of what I did by it.

I´m as abominable as any sin I have pointed other woman or man out.

And I hope those who are struggling with their sins overcome ALL of them, in the name of The Lord Jesus.

I did not know that God judges one sin greater than another. Now, as far as the gay people, they have been warned. If the bible is true then, they will be judged atthat time. But no one should be playing God cop. And, as far as God blessing the United States and how we might loose that benefit because of the gays is no more than opinion. God does not care about borders. It rains everywhere. The people are the same all over the planet. We all share the exact human nature to sin. We all share the human nature to want to have an independent life. How great is this country when everybody is telling how you should live, that's not freedom. This epidemic has been going on since before the time of Jesus and the time before that. Enough is enough. You can't have it your way all the time. Jesus did not bash the gays to their face. And, I am sure he must have met a few during his travels. Why did he never say a word to them. There must be something in the food we are eating and it is making the children get their hormones mixed up. Because I see this gender confusion becoming more popular these days. And, then there is some who are just plain perverted. Is it really our business as good Christians to get rid of this problem? Are we afraid that God will kill all the good people along with the bad people, again? Must we bully these people who think different than us? Act like a real Christian and show more love and compassion for your fellow man and work on cleaning up your act first.
Todays discriminative ill attitudes are an extension of Phariseisms.

Many of tehm has been KICKED before they knew who they were or who they were supposed to be...

When I heard the sad story is this Colombian singer (Alex Campos) I was shocked on the ways his "Dad" misteated... The same sad history keeps on going elsewhere.

Why is it people think those that say to come across homosexuals with love is considered "accepting the culture"? Too much hate goes on this site, especially with this subject. Yes homosexuality is a sin, and we should minister to the LGBT, but that doesn't mean we treat them like dirt on the bottom of our shoe, which is what a lot of you people do. They're human beings. They're our brothers and sisters and Christ that are lost. We should be praying instead of fighting. Jesus says to love one another, yet I see anything but love from a lot of people on here.
When you say "is what a lot of you people do" then you are guilty of the prejudicial broad brush you accuse others of. Not all here, maybe very few actually hate homosexuals. They might hate homosexuality which the Christian has the full right to do.

Hermit, what's wrong with your picture? Your head slightly tilted in a kidding manner? So what.

You're a good looking guy, and my saying so is no more a sin than you goofing off in that picture.

Grace, my Brother. And peace to you and yours. :)

Unlikely they're our brothers and sisters in Christ. Might be someday, but not if their lifestyle is their God.

Someone asked if I was an Anarchist or a Christian. My profile says I am a Christian. I would call myself a "Thomasalite", because I am borderline Atheist. I became a member here because I am still seeking to find the truth by reading and asking questions. I find that every single issue in the bible is debated. One person ask me to go back and read the bible because of what I said, and that I was wrong. Maybe I did come on like a donkey, but I thought I was being nice to the gays. Which made it seem like I was on their side. I believe in the one that says, "Do not throw your pearls to swine". Everybody knows what the bible says, but if you do not believe in the Bible there is no sin. Sin does not exist without God. Without God, there is only laws of man that we must live by. If the bible says it is going to get gnarly in the end times, would it not be futile to try to stop was is destine to happen. It is not easy to believe in God, as easy as it is to just say I believe in God; it is really hard for some people to say. I can't figure out why people would choose to live certain lifestyles with no regard for Jesus. This world is very intense.
Well, at least one person doesn't know what the Bible says -- you. Close to an atheist? Destined? You definitely have no idea what the Bible says. Please change your profile to nonchristian. You''re not a Christian. It's not compatible with "closer to atheist."

That is not actually true as read Matthew 18:15-17 and 1 Corinthians 5.

It is only wrong to do and thus sinful if you have not admitted your own sins and dealt with them through repentance, and call others out for theirs. Then you would be a hypocrite, but one who has admitted their sinful ways and repented of them we are told we can reprove, rebuke, and then exhort others by the word.

There are many christians who might not know any verses in the new testament that speaks against h-sexuality except Romans 1. And Jesus didn’t seem to say anything except to be positive about marriage between a man and a woman. The old testament called h-sexuality an abomination (Leviticus 20:13). Sodom and Gomorrah have been linked to h-sexuality because they desired the 2 male angels rather than Lot’s 2 daughters.

Then a couple days ago I thought of what Jesus had said about Capernaum, and how “it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.”

Matthew 11:23, 24

And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.
So what Jesus implied is that it doesn’t look good for Sodom in the day of judgment, but Capernaum had been blessed with “mighty works” but still would not repent.

There’s an occult spirit of h-sexuality (such as in SF) that ultimately can only be resisted by praying in the name of Jesus.

Just another homosexuals agenda just to be accepted as normal........NO WAY......No GAYS can enter heaven. God hates gays lifestyles to the core...The sodom and gomorah were enough already as a reminder. Repent and depart from this wicked abomination.
