Hang on here, Christians disagree on the bible - how are Christians going to come to a consensus on Islam, the three sects of Islam can't agree - good luck with your quest.

I don't think Christians are being deceived by Islam, neither are they being deceived by modern Judaism.

Christians need to get their own "house" in order, all else is in Allah's providence.

Christians are being deceived. A church not far from me is putting together a day to show support for Muslims. He says we are basically the same and we need to show support.Christians Im talking to know nothing about Islam or Muhammad.

Yes there is violence in the bible, but mostly it was just God defending his people and God cursing those who cursed his people and blessing those who blessed them.

How in the world does a Christian get deceived by what the Quran says, that makes no sense, unless a Christian is not a Christian and is trying to convert to Islam. What is the point in knowing something that your not going to follow, just drop it and walk over it.

Pretty much, this is how it goes...as n/t includes o/t...the quaran also includes the o/t. quaran includes several referances of n/t scripture but in cursory way...for insance, Jesus is in the quaran but as a prophet and not the son of God...the n/t stresses love above all things...that said, inspite of n/t scripture on love, there have been many atrocities perpetrated by Christians which is opposite of what Jesus teaches.

Your are correct and I agree, to even throw those things together Christian and Islam and say look even in the bible there's violence and compare is quite a deception like trying to get Christian to think of something like that is a lure, hook, line and sinkered.

Whoever equates Islam with Christianity due to the violence portrayed in the Bible seeks to deceive, is the point. We see that often enough, people trying to say there is no difference between the Bible teaching and the Koran, or they are the same; it is clearly a deception. Love is the highest ideal put forth by Jesus Christ, Who said that love fulfilled all the law and prophets. Islam idolizes Mohammed as their ideal person. Mohammed, who was an adulterous war mongering pedophile, is the person whose life and teachings Muslims seek to emulate, and they think he compares favorably to Jesus? I almost want to say I don't know how such nonsense even gets out of the gate, but we do actually know.
