Would have to add that David Wilkerson was a great repentance preacher, but he also claimed special revelations, preached these visions that can well be construed as adding to Revelation, however well meaning, indications he was over-zealous, in a delusional way. I'd not consider this sound.

And that Teacher sent them out to disseminate the Word, for faith comes from hearing...

Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

:)
The apostles founded many churches, with structures of elders and the like. You learn from your betters, in any walk. Lone Rangers are inherently flawed theologically, as well as personally, in their narcissism.

Was thinking of some posters here, and, for the life of me, could not remember the name of the head ape that tutored Charlton, during his astronaut days, just couldn't pull it from my cold, dead brain!

Could be. Of course, knowing you, Willie, it could also be you thought you were posting in Miscellaneous about salads.

You follow Smith Wigglesworth on facebook?
You didn't hear? There is a zombie apocalypse and the dead are rising. This breed is smart enough to get a hoard of followers through technology though. Now they are fast and intelligent! :S Humanity is on the decline and humans are betraying one another to pay off the zombies. Recently on FB a zombie took a byte from a person's brain training game. Supposedly its becoming viral, both the FB pages and the virus. Good luck out there VVillie-T, make sure to use that virus protection. :p

We are to spread the word about Jesus, yes. Some people think of themselves as teachers and seem to get all puffed up with pride.

Besides Scripture, I cut my teeth as a baby Christian with Walter Martin (the cult expert), does that count?
