Does your Bible say;

"In the beginning there was a big bang, and the big bang came from nothing, and out of nothing came everything and this was in the beginning nothing."???

Look it's not my opinion, I just gave you the scripture, you asked is the Big Bang Biblical?, and I said it was not and gave you the reason why backed by scripture and you continue to argue against the scripture, look if you want to believe in a Big Bang, than believe that, but don't try and claim that it is consistent with scripture.
Have you not read my other posts? I have already stated countless times that I don't agree with every nit picking detail about the big bang theory. The bible does not say that God didn't use this. It says God created the heavens and the earth.

Yes. You still haven't helped proved what you are trying to say. I love when people just state their opinions...

It would be good if God could put an end to this anti-Bible thread.

It's quite possible that God created the earth through a bang, is it not?.
God created the earth and the universe through Christ, not through a 'bang', why don't you attempt to read your Bible correctly instead of attempting to be hip and cool, and try listening to your elders as well.

"By Him (Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth...all things were created by him, and for him." Col. 1:16

"All things were made by him; and without him was not anything that was made." John 1:3

God created the heavens and earth via Jesus Christ, not a 'bang', not a loud sudden noise, but intimate verbal planned communication between Father and Son, got that??

I think that it`s possible that God created matter first by means of a big bang, and then He could have created everything else using that matter. So the big bang didn´t evolve but it was only used to spread matter. Of course there is nothing more certain than what is written in God`s Book.

Omgoodness. For the 12th time? not sure how many times i have to say it. I get the fact that it was planned and God created it. I am saying how do you know that God didn't put the earth into motion with a bang. How do you know. Yes he spoke it, but who's to say that the bang wasn't a result? I think you need to get off your high horse and talk to people politely. My prayers are with you.

Do you know what the definition of the word 'bang' is? Do you have a dictionary, just type it in to your keyboard, can you do that? Probably asking too much, OK, I'll do it for you

Bang - 1. loud sudden explosion, as a discharge of a gun. 2. a resounding stroke or blow. 3. a knock; a bump. 4.col. sexual intercourse. 5. col. energy, spirit. 6. col. thrill, excitement. etc.

Did God fire a gun to create the Universe, or make an explosion? NO.

Did God strike an object causing a resounding 'bang' audible noise with his fist or head to create? NO.

Did God accidently bump into something suddenly? NO.

We wont worry about the modern colloquialisms.

latey in my small group at youth group, we have been talking about how many times science is chucked out the window by simple christians. for example; In this universe there are over 3 trillion some stars (so they say) enough for every one in this world to name 1 BILLION stars after themselves! all the time we see stars dying, yet out of the trillions of stars in the universe there has not been one star that is being 'born'. So where in this universe have you seen an explosion create something other then destruction? :)
