can someoen who knows answer me if a woman can baptize a man???????? woman who isnt a pastor or anything but is a Godly woman!!!!!!!!????????
Why not?

Can a husband who became a Christian after his wife not ask for his wife to baptise him?

I think they can.

As for any other scenario I have no idea.

galatians 3:26-29 "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

depends on if a person is called to baptize.

a woman being a pastor is a touchy subject

but why couldnt she baptize
..

to my understanding if your mom loves Jesus

there shouldnt be a problem with her to baptize you in Jesus name

(mom or any sister in christ)
Your post was before the I did.

You took it further than mine and was better and more insightful.

Good post NNMG

hi mcgee!!!!! thanks for your response i agree with it....... indeed i have been baptized in Father Son Holy Spirit but I haven't been baptized in Jesus' name and it worries me sometimes!!!!!! because everytime someone got baptized in Acts like 5 times its always in Jesus' name thats how they did and overstood it!!!!! so its 5 verses in acts against 1 in matthew and also i think logically maybe like this ok: Jesus died for us not the Father or Holy Spirit!!!!! they are one yes though hope nobody gets mad at me for thhinking and typing it hahahaha

To me it's semantics. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one.

If you have been baptised as a result of

Romans 10:9-11
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

Then settle in your spirit your baptism

I love threads like this. There are many things I never think about and non-clergy baptizing others is one of them.

If I had to take a stab, my guess is that though it is not commanded, the examples the Bible does provide are not laymen baptizing, but men who had a level of spiritual/Church authority.

My guess (and it's a very unsubstantiated, spit balling kind of guess) is that it would be permissible if that non pastor/elder/deacon was all you had at hand.

Matthew 23:8

8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

Go do it.

The problem in In the church today is make it a big event, stand up give your testimony.

Acts 8:37-39

Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.”
And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”
So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing.

Its that easy
