When Jesus cast out the demon it was from a possessed man - not an electrical appliance lol!
I see no reason for an electrical appliance to be possessed by any spirit as it would have no worth to the spirit.
Also, imagine everyone running around casting out demons from radios, microwaves, fridges and tvs etc HAHHAHAHA!!!

I'm not sure if this applies to inanimate object, but God has provided me some very unusual solutions to problems. One of the strangest fixes that he provided me was a repair of a critical electrical system that would shut down after a few minutes. About five minutes into the job, I had an overwhelming urge to weld a post between the floor and the ceiling at a spot unrelated to the system. Everyone, including myself, thought I was crazy, but I did it. The system never shut down again. Read my first post for my secret of success.
Was it casting out demons or demon possession? I doubt it. Can I cast them out? Yes. Read Philippians 4:13.

Amen! This whole thread is giving power to something which Jesus triumphed over when he rose from the dead!

Who said that demons possess appliances? Do you not think that demons can manipulate material items. Me thinks none of you are thinking. A certain one tried to destroy a Buddha statue by slamming it against concrete. Nothing doing until he said 'in the name of Jesus' and then slammed it. It shattered into a thousand pieces.

There are countless examples in the Bible that show God's men and women were hindered and halted by the powers of darkness, when they chose to follow him. For you to dismiss this Bible truth so simply is not true wisdom.

I was quickly reading this thread through (a post here and there) I have made up my mind that I will not contribute beyond this one post because I've seen demons race across the floor and have heard my Lord's voice audibly once when I really needed it. I think it would be very wise for all professing Christians to be respectful of other professing Christians because NONE of us know it all concerning our adversary. Our adversary and his cohorts know technology better than any human. Where do you think Nimrod got his expertise?
