How does one become half of a religion? LOL

There's actually a lot of contreversy through the Jewish community because the Jews who believe in Judaism say that the Jews who believe in a Savior are forbidden to convert to another religion under the law, so they feel stuck. Hence why there are "messianic Jews"

A friend of mine always states, "There are only two things I have to do...die and pay taxes"

Not real sure about either (Some will not die, but be changed and You don't have to pay taxes, although you might go to jail)

Short end of the stick.....For God so loved the Cosmos (translated world) that he gave his only begotten SON (A JEW)..........

I always say, "I love all Jewish people and would lay my life down for one in a New York second"

Why you ask, Because one loved me and laid his life down for me!

Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God,
and David their king; and shall [fear the Lord] and his goodness in [the latter days].

What does half Jewish mean? One of your parents is Jewish? Get off the fence and proclaim Jesus with all your heart, mind and soul. Your heart is already there; everyone sees that.

According to tradition, a peron is Jewish if his mother is Jewish. If a person is born to a gentile woman by a Jewish father, that person is not considered legally Jewish.

Now that sounds odd, but it is tshe truth.

It's sad that some folks are imprisoned by semantics. May everyone who wants to shout with acclimation as to their faith in Jesus, do so with full fledged joy and liberation.

You just described my personal history, and many people have told me I'm Jewish, but I'm not imprisoned by other people's standards. First and foremost, always and forever, I am Christian.

I hate those that hate is that wrong?
[SUP]"[/SUP]These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren" (Proverbs 6;16-19)

Imo, its okay to hate evil, God himself hates sin. "Hate" itself is not wrong, but we aren't suppose to let it manifest a vengeful attitude or condemning judgement within ourselves.

To persecute the church? Seems to me it has been going on ever since the "time of reformation."Do they even recognize there was a refomation ?The vail is rent that must mean something?

The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: Which was a figure (parable) for the "time then" present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them "until the time of reformation".Heb 9:10

It would seem when the bible uses the word hate it simply mean to not bless by loving them . Hating is withholding a blessing .Loving is exercising a blessing. We are to hate all member of our family when deciding to do the will of God . In that way we can let God be true and every man a liar.

Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

We are to know no man after the flesh.

Judah, Yahudah and other tranliterations may be translated as Praiser of God (Yah:) The part of the transliteration that means Yah or God is what you say as Jew.

Be careful saying things evil about Yah, God. Also, be careful of saying anything evil about a Praiser of God.....we are all Jews in this case.

Yes, one of your parents are Jewish.
Although, according to Jews you are only held under the law if your mother is Jewish

Well,
You've also got to understand that the OT law is the only thing some of these people know. One of the worst things in OT law according to Jews is idolatry and converting when you are a birth Jew is considered idolatry to them.

They realize more than you know.....
Whether or not they accept that or take that as truth is a whole different story
