No matter what the religion, or the name used for God, He and His believers pay tribute to someone else. Why?

Are you talking about when Jesus payed taxes to Caesar...

Or when slaves are subject to serve their masters?

Maybe he means preachers that ask for money and donations? Not totally sure, but that could be it.

That's part of it. What I'm saying in general is that belief in God is today hampered by traditions and systems of men.

If God has to pay for rent, light, gas, transportation and food then is that really God?

Paying the Imperial Tax to Caesar
Mark 12:13-17
13 Later they sent some of the Pharisees and Herodians to Jesus to catch him in his words. 14 They came to him and said, “Teacher, we know that you are a man of integrity. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are; but you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. Is it right to pay the imperial tax to Caesar or not? 15 Should we pay or shouldn’t we?”

But Jesus knew their hypocrisy. “Why are you trying to trap me?” he asked. “Bring me a denarius and let me look at it.” 16 They brought the coin, and he asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?”

“Caesar’s,” they replied.

17 Then Jesus said to them, “Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.”

And they were amazed at him.

That's not what the bible says. It says that all is His, that He gave man dominion over it, and that through man's leadership (like paying bills for something that is already given) that we are in the shape we're in today.

So if God pays bills, and "Caesar's" face is on the money, then who really controls things? Please wake up my people!

Also realize that we are all peasants making mud pies in the slums, not realizing that God is offering us a holiday at the sea... We don't realize the amazing treasure that God has in-stored for us in heaven...

Also with tithe' think about it as one big family... As a family it is wise to save money for bad times and for things you want... E.G. If someone gets hurt you can now support them, if you want to go to another country and disciple others you can...

It is not nice or politically correct to try to push hidden agenda's on people through secret motives... Like you just did... You asked Why we pay taxes (tribute) to other's that are not God... Now you are trying to insinuate that I am asleep for answering your question... If you were to ask if God was in charge of everything my answer would be a strait forward yes backed by scripture... So please don't try to use hidden motives again, be strait forward with your threads...

This can be done without money. We have the technology and the resources to provide for ALL. But you can't sell free...

Philippians 3:6-11

6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Can I ask you then, what ARE we giving to God? I liked your post and gave you its true meaning. No hidden agenda, just common sense truth and light. We cannot serve God and Mammon. Please research on the empty houses and food we have. The technology that we are capable of. But we let paper from a tree kill over 30,000 people a day from just starvation alone!

So in light of these facts, my questions are genuine and from the heart.

I can see your motives are to show Christians (and me) that our lives are based off of selfish un-Godliness...

I am not going to argue on that point, not one bit... But to me you seem to be jumping to conclusions and running around with idea's... I have had to decipher your messages, maybe I am just not intellectual enough (no sarcasm)... But I cannot follow your logic in this whole ordeal...

Now we have and willl go to war for various surface reasons; our children drafted to fight for their countries as is their patriotic duty to the land they were born on. But the banks that supply the financing and the companies that manufacture the weapons of destruction that SUPPLIES BOTH SIDES MAKE BILLIONS! All the while our children die, both sides believing to be doing God's work in some form of religion, which owes it's tribute to a face printed on a dollar?!

If the companies are drafted right along with our children then war is real, but the truth is that it is BIG business and corrupt!

He did give man dominion over it... but sence the leadership of this world is gocerned by money an bot hy God what do you excpect? Ofcourse when christ takes back control there will be no more bills.
