The Elect cannot be literally all men, in the sense of all-who-ever-lived-and-ever-will-live. Else the word Elect would make no sense. The Elect are the Church, consisting of believing jew and gentile. Chosen by God in Christ before the foundation of the world.

Another way to put it is that if you are in the Body of Christ (the Church), you are in the Elect. The Church was chosen by God in Christ before the foundation of the world. Individuals enter into the Church by faith in Christ. And that is a free offer to all mankind!

The elect is the church believing Jews and Gentiles

You are wrong Elect, elect doesn't means the church believing Jews and Gentiles. It means the very people who have knowledge and understanding of the Bible. And they know what the past, present, and future prophecies of what happened in the past, what is currently happening, and what is going to happen in the future. With this information, they are able to determine who the abnomination desolation is that will sit in the holy place and declare himself GOD and jump start the great tribulation. They know that there is no rapture, but that there is a place of safety in which GOD's has prepared for them and that it is time to flee and they know where to flee. They know GOD's word and are not deceived by these false prophets who teach in Jesus name. They are not and will not be deceived by these pastors of today, who are greedy dog, as the bible stated they would be.
