1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

it must be hard when a person is taught something by family for years, then someone tells them they have been taught a lie. If they would see the lie that has been around for centuries, and its not their families fault, maybe they could look at things a different way than what they've been taught. i didn't grow up in a religious family, so i didn't have that problem. i feel for those led astray, and am looking forward to the day we all come together in the Kingdom of the Almighty LORD, with Christ Jesus as King over all.

You drew the wrong conclusion. What we're doing is trying to stop you from dragging ignorant people into an error you have appropriated for your own life.

We're HAPPY to do it because we know that we're correct and you are not and we are really providing a service to those that might be ensnared by your false doctrine. And that gives us a GOOD feeling NOT a bitter one :).

Honestly, looking at your post, the bitterness seems to be on your end so simply flip that verse in Jeremiah around to comport to your own emotional state and you'll have much better picture of what's happening. And, know that I'm:

I have been wondering why all this bitterness against the Sabbath until I read Jeremiah.
This is what the Lord Almighty says concerning the prophets:“I will make them eat bitter food and drink poisoned water, because from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has spread throughout the land.” This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord. They keep saying to those who despise me, ‘The Lord says: You will have peace.’ And to all who follow the stubbornness of their hearts they say, ‘No harm will come to you.’But which of them has stood in the council of the Lord to see or to hear his word? Who has listened and heard his word? See, the storm of the Lord will burst out in wrath, a whirlwind swirling down on the heads of the wicked. The anger of the Lord will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. In days to come you will understand it clearly. I did not send these prophets, yet they have run with their message; I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied. But if they had stood in my council, they would have proclaimed my words to my people and would have turned them from their evil ways and from their evil deeds.

People who have been brought up in the snare of cults and false religious systems do find it difficult when we bring the truth to them.

The SDA cult; however, has not been around for centuries but is modern in origin originating with a false prophecy. Their Sabbath heresy is built around a fabricated false vision and subsequent interpretation of a plagiarizing false prophetess and false teacher Ellen G. White (Scroll down to Reason #2).

Though we can expound and expound, at it's core: it's really that erroneous and that simple.

It would be appreciated and appropriate that if you want to post about the Sabbath, that you use the threads already made.

God bless.
Sorry, I will keep that in mind next week.

So you're calling all of us born again genuine Christians liars because you are mixed up in Sabbath legalism?

No, I'm certainly not brave enough to call any christian a liar.

Jesus is. Those weren't my words.

The books of Daniel and Jeremiah, along with Ezekiel and Isaiah give very clear picture.

OR...................everyone COULD...........just agree that people were given FREE WILL by our Lord God, and this would surely give them the option to CHOOSE what day they wish to worship God...........

(some folks don't believe in free will........................sigh...........ok, y'all go ahead and dispute)

Ummm, I don't think he was implying that by anything in his post. Don't look for an offense when none is given. Regardless, Sabbath blessings to you, and Sunday blessings to you as well!

Peace,
Matt
It's called hollerin' before your hurt, Matt, my friend.

Even in Malachi. Yahweh spoke through Malachi in chapter 4:4 Remember the law of my servant Moses, the decrees and laws I gave him at Horeb for all Israel.
Some would be quick to point out it's for Israel alone, if only they are as quick to point out 3:6-12 is for Israel alone too.

Matthew 5:17-19

“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teachesothers to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

So the first thing that most protestants say is the Law is done away, Christ nailed it to the cross.
