"Where is the the Garden of Eden to day ?"

People have searched for the Garden of Eden for centuries to no avail. There are various spots claimed as the original location of Eden, but no one can be sure. What happened to the Garden of Eden? The Bible does not specifically say.

It is likely that the Garden was completely destroyed in the Flood. Why or Why not

The physical garden could be in the Antarctic.

Scientists drilling off the coast of Antarctica made a startling discovery recently that could hold clues to the Earth's future -- especially if climate change keeps warming the planet.
According to a study published in the journal Nature, the frozen continent was home to a "near-tropical" rainforest 52 million years ago, when temperatures measured about 68 degrees Fahrenheit.
The sediment found in the Antarctic seabed may be more relevant during a summer when drought, record heat and violent storms are being connected to climate change trends. Antarctica Was Once Home To Rainforest, Say Scientists

This is one of the effects when the presence of God leave.

Some say that the flood destroyrd even the garden then the flood also destroyed the angel and out the flaming swords:rolleyes:

Genesis 3

23
Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

I'd say in "heaven", waiting to restored in our physical realm, and I consider "in heaven" to be something like "in God's shared imagination."

There is some evidence that it was where Israel is today, I wish I could remember the source, it was very interesting.

The garden is all that you can see. It is the mindset that determines whether it is a garden out a wilderness.

The Garden of Eden has always been taught being on earth. To ignore those scriptures is asking for trouble and more confusion on top of whats already being peddled out there among the zombie like masses : /

It would still be here naturally. It was a garden, there was no identifiable features of it mentioned in the Bible from what I can remember, other then its location. That is about it ( correct me if im wrong ) If it was in the area the flood took place, then it would have been submerged, but those waters receded after the floods purpose was accomplished, and there you go. But no talk of it being in heaven. If there were some Archeological remains, on rocks or something that identified it as the Garden of Eden, then that's one thing.

I did not study to see if this place was in the area of Eden that the Bible describes, but check out Göbekli Tepe if that is not the area the Bible describes, then disregard.

Just updated it a little with a location that might be entirely not, were the bible pointed to. But I thought, I heard some one say it was that area. But never bothered to look myself.

Genesis 2
"A river flowed out of Eden to water the garden, and there it divided and became four rivers. The name of the first is the Pishon. It is the one that flowed around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. And the gold of that land is good; bdellium and onyx stone are there. The name of the second river is the Gihon. It is the one that flowed around the whole land of Cush. And the name of the third river is the Tigris, which flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates."

There`s gold, silver and coal in those Antarctic hills, but scientists question whether it ever will be economical to mine a continent that is covered with ice-in some places two miles deep.
``Most people feel it is not now economically feasible to consider Antarctica to be a great source of minerals,`` said Jack Talmadge, chief of polar coordination for the National Science Foundation in Washington.

Antarctic resources would be open to regulated exploitation under a preliminary agreement reached in early June by representatives of 33 nations meeting in Wellington, New Zealand.
The pact reached after six years of negotiations would take effect if ratified by 16 of the 20 voting members of the 1959 Antarctic Treaty, which regulates development in the last pristine area on Earth.
A chief negotiator for the U.S., R. Tucker Scully, oceans and polar affairs director in the State Department, said it was vital to reach agreement before the Antarctic`s commercial potential is fully known.
``It is our judgment that if one waits until after it is known there are minerals, it would be more difficult to negotiate under the gun of knowing there are valuable resources there,`` said Scully.
It is the coldest and most desolate place on the planet, conditions that have fended off fortune-hunters. It is mountainous, with average ice depths of a mile.
The National Science Foundation has operated a research station at McMurdo Bay since 1958. The foundation and the U.S. Geological Survey have explored the Antarctic and found evidence of platinum, chromium, gold, silver, uranium, iron, copper, nickle and cobalt, to name a few.

Isaiah 51:3The Lord will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.

Ezekiel 36:35
They will say, “This land that was laid waste has become like the garden of Eden; the cities that were lying in ruins, desolate and destroyed, are now fortified and inhabited.”

Joel 2:3
Before them fire devours, behind them a flame blazes. Before them the land is like the gardenof Eden, behind them, a desert waste— nothing escapes them.

Israel was once green and full of trees and waters. Then it became a dessert. Now it is returning to a fruitful land full of trees and green grass. Why some one would limit God is beyond me. They Garden is gone and the tree of life is in heaven and now its called Jesus.

[h=3]Revelation 22[/h]King James Version (KJV)

22 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
