I'm sure everyone here has only one purpose.
We want to know how do we save.

God's made a promised in order for us to be saved.

Whoever knows God will get save.

JEREMIAH 31:34
34
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

This promised is in Old Testament.

Since God wants to keep his promise and he knows the future, there will come a time that people in our times will read the Holy Bible in the New Testament only (there are pocket bible that contains new testament only).
God repeated his promised in the New Testament.

HEBREWS 8:11-12
11
And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more

God can present a proof by means of demonstration in his words how he fulfilled his promise.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

How can we follow Jeremiah 31:34 so we can have the promise of God?
How do we know God the Father who is a Spirit God?
Remember, this is the way of God so that our sins will be forgiven.

Jesus gave us a condition. If we know Jesus means we know the Father also.
JOHN 8:19
19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also

Where is the proof of God that once we know Jesus, we will know the Father and our sins will be forgiven?
If our sins are forgiven therefore we are saved.

Remember the 2 criminals which are crucified with Jesus. One in his left and the other is in his right.
These 2 Criminals did good nothing.
The promised of God (John 8:19 & Jeremiah 31:34) was applied to the criminal on the right side of Jesus.
And the Promised of God fulfilled to the criminal on the right side.

LUKE 23:32-33 & 42-43
32
And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.
33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.
42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

You do know the difference between Calvinism and Arminianism, right.

It's simple, Calvinists believe God choses us. Arminian's believe we choose God.

You can label me a Calvinist if it makes you feel better, because I do believe that God choses His people. Because that's what the Bible says, so regardless of who says what it what the Bible says that matters and the rest is noise pollution.
You also have to stop sinning when you repent.

Ye can't keep on sinning the same sin.

And ye have to listen

To say that Christ came to make salvation possible upon the choice of men and not to secure salvation for His people by saving them from their sins (Mat 1:21) is to pervert the Gospel.

Sounds like something coming from the perverted thinking of the calvinists

No matter how they try, the calvinists cannot explain a way scripture:

Titus 2:11,12
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Acts 17:30
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

John 12:32
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Hebrews 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

well try reading the whole of Luke 6 here I'll point you in the right direction 😊
Jesus Is Lord of the Sabbath
6 One Sabbath Jesus was going through the grainfields, and his disciples began to pick some heads of grain, rub them in their hands and eat the kernels. 2 Some of the Pharisees asked, “Why are you doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?”

3 Jesus answered them, “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry? 4 He entered the house of God, and taking the consecrated bread, he ate what is lawful only for priests to eat. And he also gave some to his companions.” 5 Then Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”

6 On another Sabbath he went into the synagogue and was teaching, and a man was there whose right hand was shriveled. 7 The Pharisees and the teachers of the law were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely to see if he would heal on the Sabbath. 8 But Jesus knew what they were thinking and said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Get up and stand in front of everyone.” So he got up and stood there.

9 Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?”

10 He looked around at them all, and then said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He did so, and his hand was completely restored. 11 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law were furious and began to discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus.

The Twelve Apostles
12 One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. 13 When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them, whom he also designated apostles: 14 Simon (whom he named Peter), his brother Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, 15 Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Simon who was called the Zealot, 16 Judas son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.

Blessings and Woes
17 He went down with them and stood on a level place. A large crowd of his disciples was there and a great number of people from all over Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the coastal region around Tyre and Sidon, 18 who had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those troubled by impure spirits were cured, 19 and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all.

20 Looking at his disciples, he said:

“Blessed are you who are poor,
for yours is the kingdom of God.
21 Blessed are you who hunger now,
for you will be satisfied.
Blessed are you who weep now,
for you will laugh.
22 Blessed are you when people hate you,
when they exclude you and insult you
and reject your name as evil,
because of the Son of Man.
23 “Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets.

24 “But woe to you who are rich,
for you have already received your comfort.
25 Woe to you who are well fed now,
for you will go hungry.
Woe to you who laugh now,
for you will mourn and weep.
26 Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you,
for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets.
Love for Enemies
27 “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. 30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.
asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.

32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Judging Others
37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

39 He also told them this parable: “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit? 40 The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.

41 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 42 How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

A Tree and Its Fruit
43 “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44 Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. 45 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

The Wise and Foolish Builders
46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? 47 As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. 48 They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. 49 But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete
My CPU crashed, while I was trying to process all of that. My Pastor never overloads me with so much scripture. He would take 6 months to unpack and explain all of that for me.

The Bible is not a book for to read, it's a book that reads us. It tells us everything we don't know about ourselves and some things bout God. My Pastor, usually preaches over an hour and only gets through a few verses. I wouldn't even attempt to digest the amount you gave me, it would cause severe indigestion.

To study the Bible takes a lifetime of at least 70 years of study and even then there's a lot more to learn. So one lifetime is not enough, that's why God kept 99% of things about himself secret, we can't even deal with what little He has given us let alone the big ticket items

I'm not sure if your trying to be funny, but you know as well as everyone else does that it's impossible for any Christian to stop sinning.

So yeah, we will keep sinning until the day we die and nobody can stop sinning. It's ludicrous to suggest that it's even possible.

The Lord Jesus Christ paid for every sin of His elect. That includes all past sins, all present sins and all future sins. They are fully paid for and we rejoice in that knowledge, as we are free from guilt, judgement and punishment.

well yobe just promoted two Calvinist beliefs in this thread and another thread.

And now your attacking Armenians just like calvinists do
Either you are a Calvinist or you don't know you are one
OK, the truth is every single Christian is either a Calvinist or Arminian. There's no third position and don't let anyone thell you there is as that is a lie from the pits of hell.

So Yes, I'm a Calvinist because Calvin exposed the false interpretation of the gospel by Arminius, who's interpretation was full of fundamental errors. Why would I hold to the interpretation of someone who teaches a false gospel, that causes confusion and strife as we see going on here.

I figured you'd let the cat out of the bag one of these days.

Matthew 7:15
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 24:5
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

(includes those claiming to be anointed to speak for the Lord)
God was talking about false prophets in the Church. They are the most dangerous, because they lead many into condemnation with their lies and deception.
We see false prophets here as well, pushing false doctrines of Demons.

Oh come on now, this is putting everything in to a box lol 😂

There just labels at the end of day, you need to learn to not be so offended.

according to scripture ultimately God sees your heart, where as we can't, so your experience is judging the outer not the inner of someone else.

God will not see a label when he examines your heart, Im sure he's smart enough to see past a label lol.

Jesus did not create us to wear labels,
Or even the ones we place on ourselves,
He created us as his dearly loved children.
As written in genesis and eph 5;1

1 Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children

But if this is not enough what does this mean

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

Why not let the Lord be your Teacher thru the Holy Spirit based on God's Word?

This should come before reliance on any man to teach us.

Especially men that have attended seminary or bible college as this is where ministers go to become corrupt and be taught the wisdom of men as though it were the wisdom of God.

OK, the truth is every single Christian is either a Calvinist or Arminian. There's no third position and don't let anyone thell you there is as that is a lie from the pits of hell.

Some have not been trained in the false doctrines of man and instead have relied upon the Holy Spirit to lead and guide them in to all Truth and Jesus told us:

Jesus said the Holy Ghost would lead us in to ALL Truth (John 16:13),
and Jesus said God's Word IS Truth (John 17:17)

Romans 8:14

The biggest false teachers of all time were Augustine, John Calvin, and Martin Luther!

These men were mightily used by satan to bring in many damnable heresies

I'm just confused as to why Jesus casts those He loves into hell, it just makes no sense at all. Don't you think He would save them if He really did love them. It just makes no sense at all and I can't find anything in the Bible to support your narrative.

The Father sovereignly decided to make man in His own Image which is why all men have free will. He said in His Word than we are predestined to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29), and we are to be followers of God as dear children (Ephesians 5:1)

God's Word says man is without excuse (Romans 1:20), the grace that brings salvation has come upon all men (Titus 2:11-13)

Romans 1:19-21
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

No need to be confused. Just accept what God says in His Word.

He knows what He is doing and He has provided opportunity for ALL men to get saved.

Anybody that ends up in hell, it's their own fault as they are without excuse according to God's Word.

The problem with your theory is, that it doesn't hold water. It's full of theological and doctrinal holes, it's just a strawman being held together with sticky tape.

I'll just mention two problems with your theory which prove that it's baseless blabbing.

1. The Holy Spirit doesn't have a mouth or tongue, so it's ludicrous to suggest He can speak to us.

2. Jesus has not spoken a word to any man for 2000 years, He has been silent and out of sight and unapproachable.

So, you being a sheep need a shepherd to lead you. Jesus and the Holy Spirit are not available for you to have an audience with them.

If you're not lead by a shepherd I guarantee, you will become the hungry lions lunch and you have zero power to defend yourself as a sheep against a hungry lion.

I hope you can face your serious error and embrace the truth. Also what is this mysterious non existent third position you imagined, enlighten us it would be amusing to hear it.

You must deal with the whole counsel of God, you end up having a false view when you ignore what God is saying to you

Jesus warned us about Demonic Spirits who come to you as Angels of light, we know what happens to victims of Demonic deception.

For what you said, you affirm that it's you against the hungry lion. As you have admitted that you lean on your own understanding and strength to defeat Satan. Where does the bible say that all men have free will. Answer, Satan told eve that she has free will and when he believed Him they became enslaved to Satan and humanity has been enslaved to Satan ever since the fall.

No man has free will, he can only serve God or Satan. Find me a verse that says otherwise.

We would need to overpower both God and Satan to get free will, for ourselves. I can't believe you actually believe something so unbiblical. Makes me wonder if you mean what you say

No, the Lord delivered me from darkness and translated me into the Kingdom of God (Colossians 1:13) and He raised me up to sit with Him in Heavenly places far above ALL principality power and might and dominion (Ephesians 1:18-23), so the devil you call the hungry lion is under my feet.

All I can do is wish you luck, and you'll need lots of it to beat Satan at His game.

The battle is the Lord's and the victory is mine!

Where does the bible say that all men have free will.

In Genesis we learned that God created mankind in His Image, so since God has free will man also has free will.

You can believe you have no free will and the forces of darkness are controlling your life, but that's not applicable to me in any way shape of form.

satan told eve that she has free will and when he believed Him they became enslaved to satan and humanity has been enslaved to satan ever since the fall.

The devil tricked and deceive Eve in to using the free will the Lord gave her to make a very, very bad decision which was to disobey the Lord and eat of that tree.

Adam was there with her and he was NOT deceived so Adam used the free will God gave him to disobey the Lord and he knew it was wrong before he did it, and yet he decided to disobey God anyway.

Find me a verse that says otherwise.

The Word of God is choked full of examples of man having free will such as this one:

Joshua 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, CHOOSE you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we WILL serve the LORD.

You have much misunderstanding due to believing things like "the Holy Spirit can't speak and Jesus has been silent for 2000 years"

We would need to overpower both God and Satan to get free will, for ourselves. I can't believe you actually believe something so unbiblical. Makes me wonder if you mean what you say

No, God's Word means what He says so you should get hooked up with the Lord by BELIEVING what He says in His Word!

No, wrong again. I follow God's Word:

Jesus said the Holy Ghost would lead us in to ALL Truth (John 16:13),
and Jesus said God's Word IS Truth (John 17:17)

Romans 8:14
For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

Those believing this don't know the Lord and think the Lord is weak and incapable.

Yes, they tell people things like "the Holy Spirit can't speak and Jesus has been silent for 2000 years"
