All those who seek to honor Sabbath are not judgemental as you make claims without being specifinc. There are every type of person from every type pf background and belief that are right and that are wrong. Truth is truth, tradition is tradition.

Some folks are preaching that folks should keep a Jewish like Sabbath on Saturday.

I can provide Bible verses if needed
Isaiah 56:1-7, “Thus said יהוה, “Guard right-ruling, and do righteousness, for near is My deliverance to come, and My righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who becomes strong in it, guarding the Sabbath lest he profane it, and guarding his hand from doing any evil. And let not the son of the gentile who has joined himself to יהוה speak, saying, ‘יהוה has certainly separated me from His people,’ nor let the eunuch say, ‘Look I am a dry tree.’ For thus said יהוה, “To the eunuchs who guard My Sabbaths, and have chosen what pleases Me, and are holding onto My covenant: to them I shall give in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than that of sons and daughters – I give them an everlasting name that is not cut off. Also the sons of the gentile who join themselves to יהוה, to serve Him, and to love the Name of יהוה, to be His servants, all who guard the Sabbath, and not profane it, and are holding onto My covenant, them I shall bring to My set-apart mountain, and let them rejoice in My house of prayer. Their ascending offerings and their sacrifices are accepted on My altar, for My house is called a house of prayer for all the peoples.”

I believe we should pray without ceasing and keep Sabbath every day.

I can provide Bible verses if needed.
Genesis 2:1-3, “Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their array. And in the seventh day the Mighty One completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And the Mighty One blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which the Mighty One in creating had made.”

set it apart” is word #H6942 - qadash: to be set apart or consecrated, Original Word: קָדַשׁ, Part of Speech: Verb, Transliteration: qadash, Phonetic Spelling: (kaw-dash'), Short Definition: consecrate

I just wanted to show how that is possible and perhaps have people share how they find Rest in Christ Jesus?

I can provide Bible verses if needed.
Revelation 14:13, "And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, the ones dying in the Messiah from now on! Yes, says the Spirit: because they will rest from their labors, and their works do follow them!"

I am tired of the SDA and folks like that condemning people for not worshipping as they do. Some even condeming the gathering and worshiping together on Sunday. It all borders on legalism and a false understanding of the New Covenant that Jesus established.

I can provide Bible verses if needed.

Don't get me wrong. I have attended a Messianic Jewish congregation and the Rabbi doesn't make the same errors out SDA folks here on the forums make. So if folks want to keep the feast or worship on Sat they have that freedom in Christ. However folks cross the, line when they condemned judge others.

I can provide Bible verses if needed.

Yahshua was doing the will of YHWH yet the Pharisees accused Him of sin;

Mat 12:12, "And how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it is Lawful to do righteousness on the Sabbath."

Mark 3:4, “And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do right on the Sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.”

John 7:22-24, “Because of this Mosheh has given you the circumcision – though it is not from Mosheh, but from the fathers – and you circumcise a man on the Sabbath. If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath, so that the Torah of Mosheh should not be broken, are you wroth with Me because I made a man entirely well on the Sabbath? Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”

Why were they not sinning by breaking the Sabbath by “doing work” on the Sabbath? Because they are doing the will of YHWH, the true intent of the Sabbath day:

Isaiah 58:11-14, YHWH will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and make fat; (strengthen), your bones. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. And those of you will rebuild the old waste places; you will raise up the foundations of many generations; and you will be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In; If you turn away your foot from breaking the Sabbath: from doing your pleasure; your own business, your own pleasure, on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight; the holy day of YHWH honorable, and will honor Him by not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor engaging in idle conversation: Then you will find your joy in YHWH; and I will cause you to ride on the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Yaaqob your father, for the mouth of YHWH has spoken it.

The true intent of the Sabbath day is not about only worshiping on the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day, it is about doing His will and not doing our own will.

Mat 12:12, “And how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it is Lawful to do righteousness on the Sabbath.”

This does not teach us to

A. Abolish the Sabbath

B. Change it to a different day

C. Make Jesus our Sabbath (sounds nice but it is not Scriptural)

D. Make every day the "Sabbath" as it is impossible, nobody can set apart every day as holy/set apart to YHWH. 1. Only YHWH can set apart a day, and YHWH did this at creation; Genesis 2:1-3, “...the Mighty One blessed the seventh day and set it apart...” 2. We have work, chores, errands, etc. While mowing the lawn, doing dishes, cleaning the bathroom, etc are not sin, they are also not the will of YHWH thus doing these things is not the will of YHWH, the 7th day Sabbath is set aside for the will of YHWH. Any who claim to set aside every day are not being honest and probably don't set aside any day as they clearly don't understand what it means.

Deuteronomy 10:16, “And you shall circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and harden your neck no more.”

Galatians 5:5-6, “For we, in Spirit, by belief, eagerly wait for the expectation of righteousness. For in Messiah
יהושע neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any strength, but belief working through love."

1 Corinthians 7:19, The circumcision is naught, and the uncircumcision is naught, but the guarding of the commands of Yah does matter!”

Yet the Sabbath was set apart at Creation:

Genesis 2:1-3, “Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their array. And in the seventh day the Mighty One completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And the Mighty One blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which the Mighty One in creating had made.”

This does not cancel out other Instructions from YHWH, it's purpose is to focus on Him and His Instructions. To use the Sabbath to cease from the remaining part of YHWH's Instructions (as the Pharisees did) is to break the intent of the Sabbath.

The 7th day Sabbath is STILL looking forward to the rest in Yah that none have yet entered, the rest Yahshua offers that none have yet entereed.

2 Thessalonians 1:5-10, “Clear evidence of the righteous judgment of
יהוה, in order for you to be counted worthy of the reign of יהוה, for which you also suffer, since יהוה shall rightly repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to give you who are afflictedrest with us when the Master יהושע is revealed from heaven with His mighty messengers, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know יהוה, and on those who do not obey the Good News of our Master יהושע Messiah, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Master and from the esteem of His strength, when He comes to be esteemed in His set-apart ones and to be admired among all those who believe in that Day, because our witness to you was believed.”

2 Peter 3:8, “But, beloved ones, let not this one matter be hidden from you: that with
יהוה one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

Hosheyah 6:1-3, “Come, and let us turn back to
יהוה. For He has torn but He does heal us, He has stricken but He binds us up. After two days He shall revive us, on the third day He shall raise us up, so that we live before Him. So let us know, let us pursue to know יהוה. His going forth is as certain as the morning. And He comes to us like the rain, like the latter rain watering the earth.”

Rev 20:4-6, "And I saw thrones – and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them – and the lives of those who had been beheaded because of the witness they bore to
יהושע and because of the Word of Ylohim, and who did not worship the beast, nor his image, and did not receive his mark upon their foreheads or upon their hands. And they lived and reigned with Messiah for a thousand years and the rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended) – this is the first resurrection. Blessed and set-apart is the one having part in the first resurrection. The second death possesses no authority over these, but they shall be priests of YHWH and of Messiah, and shall reign with Him a thousand years."

For Messiah said:

Matt 11:27-30, "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father. And no one fully knows the Son except the Father, neither does anyone fully know the Father, except the Son and those whom YHWH wills the Son to reveal. Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light"

Hebrews 4:10, “For he who has entered into His rest has also ceased from his own works*, as YHWH did from His*.

Isaiah 58:11-14, "YHWH will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and make fat; (strengthen), your bones. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. And those of you will rebuild the old waste places; you will raise up the foundations of many generations; and you will be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In; If you turn away your foot from breaking the Sabbath: *from doing your pleasure; your own business, your own pleasure, on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight; the holy day of YHWH honorable, and will honor Him by not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor engaging in idle conversation: Then you will find your joy in YHWH; and I will cause you to ride on the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Yaaqob your father, for the mouth of YHWH has spoken it."

Genesis 2:1-3, “Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their array. And in the seventh day the Mighty One completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And the Mighty One blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because *on it He rested from all His work which the Mighty One in creating had made.”

The real rest, that the Sabbath looks forward to, that none have yet entered into is this:

Revelation 14:13, "And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, the ones dying in the Messiah from now on! Yes, says the Spirit: because they will rest from their labors, and their works do follow them!"

It is a training tool for the will of Yah that makes us more like He wants us to be, and only those who are in His will enter the rest, in this life and the next.

The Sabbath symbolized the coming of the Messiah, who would provide a permanent rest for His people. We can now cease from our spiritual labors and rest in the Lord of the Sabbath. "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28). The Sabbath was made for man and realized in Christ.. jmo

The search for the Mystery of Sola Scriptura continues......

Where does it say in Romans 14 in fact all of ROMANS that it is talking about God's 4th Commandment?

Where is the Sabbath mentioned in Romans?

Where does it say God's 4th commandment is now abolished and we are now Commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day?

The search for Sola Scriptura continues.....

Romans 14 is talking about food connected to holy days and fasting it does not even mention God's 4th Commandment.

Romans 14
1,
Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. The first thing we see here is that this chapter is about relating to a weak brother.
2, For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
3, Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
4, Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Now to the meat and potatoes…

5, One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
6, He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

Why is eating and fasting (not eating) connected to days here? Let’s see…...............

(6), He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

links to .....

Isaiah 58
5, Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul?
is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?

links to.....

Luke 18
11,
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 12, I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

From Bullingers Companion Bible…........

Luke 18:12
Twice in the week. The law prescribed only one in the year (Lev_16:29. Num_29:7). By the time of Zec_8:19 there were four yearly fasts. In our Lord's day they were bi-weekly (Monday and Thursday), between Passover and Pentecost; and between the Feast of Tabernacles and the Dedication.

Yes they fasted sometimes two days a week and also annually in the feasts of Lev 23.

7, For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
8, For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
9, For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
10, But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother?
for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11, For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12, So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
13, Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
14, I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean <ceremonially profaned, defiled or unholy> of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean<ceremonially profaned, defiled or unholy>, to him it is unclean.
15
, But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

(14) At the time meat and drink were offered to pagan idols. After it was offered it was sold in a meat market called the ‘Shambles’.

1Cor 10
25,
Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:

Shambles ; μάκελλον; makellon; mak'-el-lon Of Latin origin [macellum ]; a butcher's stall, meat market or provision shop: - shambles.

There were those who were weak in the faith (verse 1) who were offended by the thought of food being offered to idols. They somehow thought that eating that food was somehow connecting them with the idolatrous practices around them.

Some points to consider in Romans 14:1-15............

1. The chapter is talking about a number of related topics
2. Overall it is talking about not juding those who are weak in the faith in relation to food connected to days or days dedicated to the Lord and that is all it is talking about.
3. Food connected to days in usually in relation to the annual festivals or fasting connected to weekly or Holy days unto the Lord (Lev 16:29. Num 29:7; Issaiah 58:5; Luke 18:11-12).
4. There is no mention of the Sabbath or God's 4th commandment in this chapter or the entire book of Romans.
5. Romans 14 is not talking about ABOLISHING ANY DAYS but only talking about judging others in relation to food or fasting connected to days dedicated to the LORD and food offered to idols.
6. The Chapter is consistant with all the other writing of Paul in relation to the jewish annual holy days fulfilled in Christ (eg, Colossains 2; Ephesians 2; Galatains 4:10; Hebrews 9:9-15; 10:1-17).
7. Paul's topics is summarised in v17; For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

It is very clear from reading the scriptures that this whole Chapter has nothing whatsoever at all to do with the 4th commandment which is to keep Holy the 7th day Sabbath but is talking about judging others in relation to food connected to holy days and idolatry.

SIN is the breaking of God's Commandments (James 2:9-11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4)

Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

.......................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

Actually you skipped right past the "meat and potatoes".

I'm not disagreeing with you but if people kept the sabbath EVERY DAY how could any work get done? Everyone would be on one long holiday.
God tells us that when we work we do it for Him and Jesus says it's okay to do God's work on the Sabbath.

But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

you seem more concerned with what the JEWS say and do than what Jesus and the Father say and do !
why is Christ's defense "my Father worketh hitherto, and I work" rather than "I didn't break the sabbath at all" ?

what do you think He should have said? ;)

Where does it say in God's Word that God's Sabbath should be kept EVERYDAY?
********

Hebrews 4 English Standard Version (ESV)
4 Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it. 2 For good news came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened.[a] 3 For we who have believed enter that rest, as he has said,

“As I swore in my wrath,
‘They shall not enter my rest,’”

although his works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4 For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.” 5 And again in this passage he said,

“They shall not enter my rest.”

6 Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news failed to enter because of disobedience, 7 again he appoints a certain day, “Today,” saying through David so long afterward, in the words already quoted,

“Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts.”

8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on. 9 So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, 10 for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.

11 Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Does bearing ones your for Christ implies NO WORK as some legalist claim you must not do on the Sabbath?

Jesus taught we are allowed to do God's work on the Sabbath. Should we do it only on the Sabbath or seek to do it every day?

Jer 31: 33"But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel afterthose days," declares the LORD, "I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Heb 8:
6 But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.7For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another. 8But God found fault with the people and said[SUP]b[/SUP] :

“The days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel

and with the people of Judah. 10This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds, and inscribe them on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be My people.
Some people have very strange idea what the New Covenant actually is but I will finish reading and perhaps we can discuss your thought on the topic later.

Yet who is God's Israel in the NEW COVENANT? (Sola Scriptura)

WHO ARE GOD'S ISRAEL IN THE NEW COVENANT?

THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: FOR YOU ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS AND IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN YOU ARE ABRAHAM'S SEED FOR YOU ARE ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS and IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN ARE YOU ABRAHAM'S SEED, AND HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE (Galatians 3:28).

FOR THEY ARE NOT ALL ISRAEL WHICH ARE OF ISRAEL,: NEITHER, BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SEED OF ABRAHAM, ARE THEY ALL CHILDREN: but in Isaac shall thy seed be called <Christ> That is, THEY WHICH ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE FLESH, THESE ARE NOT THE CHILDREN OF GOD: BUT THE CHILDREN OF THE PROMISE <those who believe> ARE COUNTED FOR THE SEED (Romans 9:6).

FOR HE IS NOT A JEW WHICH IS ONE OUTWARDLY; NEITHER IS THAT CIRCUMCISION, WHICH IS OUTWARDS IN THE FLESH: BUT HE IS A JEW WHICH IS ONE INWARDLY; and CIRCUMCISION IS OF THE HEART, IN THE SPIRIT, AND NOT IN THE LETTER; whose praise is not of men, but of God. (Romans 2:28-29)

Colossians 3:11,
WHERE THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK
circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Romans 10:11-13,
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. FOR THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JEW OR GREEK: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.

Hebrews 8:10-12,

BUT THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL; After those days, says the LORD, I WILL PUT MY LAW IN THEIR INWARD PARTS, AND WRITE IT IN THEIR HEARTS; and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Gentiles are now grafted into God's ISRAEL (Romans 11:13-24)

If you are NOT a part of God's ISRAEL then you are NOT a part of the NEW COVANANT PROMISE (Heb 8:10-12)

Sola Scriptura where are you? The Mystery continues....

I agree with this part.

What day is the Lord's day?

Every day.

In the Old covenant you tithed 10%, in the New 100%

In the Old you worshipped one day out of seven, in the New you worship EVERY DAY AND PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.

People claim its impossible.

However if we follow what the Bible says about both topics it's clearly NOT.

It only seem impossible when we are false legalistic understandings to scripture such as condemning people who chose to worship on Sunday. It is in the,Bible that the disciples meet and worshipped together on Sunday, Sat and any other day God moved them to come together.

Your hatred of the Catholic church has blinded you.

“As I swore in my wrath,
‘They shall not enter my rest,’”....
I love Hebrews chapter 4

Heb 4:10: For he that is entered into his rest [received the Gospel], he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His.
Because of receiving the Gospel we cease from our own works as GOD did from His. "As" is a direct comparison. So with that you must ask yourself how and when did God cease from his own works?

The answer to that is recorded in Gen 2.... on the Seventh Day, And God did rest from all His work on the seventh day (see Hebrews 4:4 and Genesis Chapter 2:1-3).

God Is a Spiritual Being he is always in the state of Spiritual Rest. HE did not enter into the Rest of the GOSPEL. On the Seventh Day the Sabbath he ceased from the physical labor of creation. And this is recorded in Genesis 2.

Therefore they that have received the Gospel Rest, cease from their own physical work as God did from His physical work on the 7th day Sabbath. And this is, was and will continue to be done on the Seventh day of the week.

Have you come to Mount Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem?

Or do you still worship on Mount Sinai?

*******

Hebrews 12
12Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, 13and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed. 14Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. 15See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no “root of bitterness” springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled; 16that no one is sexually immoral or unholy like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal. 17For you know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no chance to repent, though he sought it with tears.

A Kingdom That Cannot Be Shaken

18For you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest 19and the sound of a trumpet and a voice whose words made the hearers beg that no further messages be spoken to them. 20For they could not endure the order that was given, “If even a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned.” 21Indeed, so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I tremble with fear.” 22But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, 23and to the assemblya of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

Have we received the law written in our hearts and in our minds; which is the covenant. Which would include all that is in the Decalogue and those Laws that pertain to righteousness that are contained in the Book of the Law.

The New Ministration: GOD's intent for us went from being written in the Letter and on Tables of Stone to the fleshy tables of our hearts. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel (those who will stand (contend) with GOD) after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:For the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ (the Word; The Book of the Law) down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ (the Word; The Book of the Law) again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word (Christ; The Book of the Law) is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; For Christ (The word; The Book of the Law in thy mouth, and in thy heart that thy do it with the right heart of faith) is the end of the (written) law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

(Heb 8:10; Rom 10:6-8,4)

That is not true.

We work and do God's will even on the Seventh day as Jesus did. The Pharisees accused Jesus of breaking the Sabbath as some claim keeping the Sabbath every day is impossible.

God says if we chose to value every day that is fine, just as we can choose to eat or not eat meat as God leads us.

Some people need to be more strict about resting one day of the week because they forget about God completely if they did not put that one day aside.

They don't find time each day to stop and pray. Stop and read their Bible. Stop and worship God. Stop and help others because of the love of God flowing in their hearts.

Some people are too busy working, earning money to buy things, that the weekly reminders are good for them.

However like the law, it is just the beginning tutor that will lead people to a deeper need of Jesus.

Hopefully what they learn on the Sabbath day will be done every day. Hopefully people will learn how to pray without ceasing.

We don't stop from doing God's work or physical labor until God calls us to discard these temporary tabernacle and join Him in Heaven. Yet while we carry His yoke, Jesus promises us rest.

Do you know what kind of rest God promises?

Jesus brought MORE than the Book of the Law.

He is the Manna from Heaven. The Law written in our hearts is Agape love and anything done out of that love God has placed in our hearts is lawful, good and just.

Why do people seek to place burdens and chains upon others that Jesus removed?

Sabath is about worship not about a day,
A day was created for man not man for a day,
Worship is not fleshly rest or singing or getting emotional in some building somewhere, it is God in us communing with God- so it happens every single minute in our lives.
Amen.

That is what God tells me and I was hoping and praying others received it as well.

I have to go to the elementary school and teach kids how to solve crimes for a bit.

Hope y'all have a blessed day.

Maybe a song and a moment of silent prayer before we leave?

I'm not disagreeing with you but if people kept the sabbath EVERY DAY how could any work get done? Everyone would be on one long holiday.
Just as a true jew is one who has had his heart circumcised by God and not a cutting of the flesh, true rest is to cease from your labor and work, and rest in trust.

Sometimes we pray and make a list of what we want God to do for us. Those often are the prayers of the doubleminded and adulterous people.

We need to stop and instead thank God for what He has already given us. Thank God for giving us the help we need. Thank God for sending His Holy Spirit to comfort, teach and lead us. Thank God for His Holy words recorded on the Bible. Thank God for His wisdom and truth.

Then ask what He wants for us to do today to glorify His name?
